Mort shot to wards the hoops on the opposite side of the pitch. He glanced over his shoulder and seen Girty coming. Finally the goal posts were near. Mort stopped, raised his arm getting ready to release the quaffle.

Girty kept closing in on Mort. As she glanced up at him the small blur was getting bigger. She slowly watched him as his arm was pulling back and getting ready to shoot. Putting her head down she closed her eyes and willed the broom to go faster.
After a few seconds she looked up and saw the quaffle leaving Mort’s hand heading towards the hoops. Reaching out as far as she could her finger tips just managed to touch the quaffle however the force of the throw bend her figures backwards as it went through the hoop. With a groan she pulled to a stop and laughed rubbing her hand.

Mort gave another cheer. "Well well well. It seems I am the better player. We can play to fifty but I guarantee this game will be a shut out." and Mort got the quaffle and gave it to Girty like a gentleman." You turn." and he waited for her to make a move.

With a groan Girty caught the quaffle and nodded her head. “So we are actually keeping score then. Hum…I will have to try harder.”
With that Girty lowered herself on her broom and shot past Mort towards the opposite goal hoops. She knew she had ground to make up but if a Hufflepuff chaser could not do it then who could? With a wild laugh she looked over her shoulder and waved at Mort as she got ever closer to the goal hoops. Swerving to the left hoop Girty threw the quaffle into the air and punched it towards the hoop.

Mort shot after her but he knew it was to late. He shot after the quaffle and got a tight grip on it. He shot past Girty but keeping slow enough so she could follow. He was in front of the goal hoops now and he threw it at the middle one as hard as he could and watched as it went through. He turned around to Girty and stuck his tongue out.

Feeling very pleased for herself that she had scored, Girty failed notice that Mort was shooting off again and about score at the other end. Turing around as fast as she could and hopelessly chasing after him. As he scored Girty kept going, flying straight past him she swooped down to pick up the failing quaffle. Staying low to the ground Girty flew only inches above the grass. As the poles from the hoops came into her sight she pulled her firebolt up.
Once level with the hoops. But this time Girty knew she had best not lose possession. She went right up next to the hoops and with a slight grin she pushed it through one side before quickly flying over to the opposite catching the quaffle again to post it back through the hoops once more.

"I see how it is." Mort yelled to her laughing. Mort grabbed the quaffle and shot to the other hoops. Mort was still quite far away, but he kicked the quaffle and watched it go through the hoop. He followed it and before it hit the ground he kicked it again through another hoop. He turned and yelled to Girty. "Thats game. Wanna go to the Three Broomsticks?"

Girty stood with a bemused smile on her face. Slowly she hovered toward Mort and looked over at him finding it hard not to laugh. “You so copied me.” Girty could not help but laugh and as Mort asked to go for a drink she sighed “Well as long as your paying then I see no reason why not.”

"Ok then. See you at eight." and Mort left the pitch with a big smile.
