Freya smiled at Girty who joined her sitting down, and had just swallowed her third or fourth roasted marshmallow when she noticed how out of hand the guys were slowly getting. The younger of the Slytherins, who she had only met the other day in Hogsmeade, seemed to be looking for a fight and after being thrown backwards into the lake with a spell, he looked oddly pleased. It was in the next second when she realised why, as he conjured a large serpent to stand in between Thom and himself. 'Bloody hell.' Freya muttered under her breath with a long roll of her eyes.
She got up onto her feet and wandered over to them and placed one hand on her hip as Jerred posed a challenge to Thom. 'No, you can not bloody continue playing.' Freya cut in, eyeing the lot of them one by one. 'Now get rid of this stupid slug so I can have some marshmallows in peace.' She gave a kick towards the large snake, her characteristic smirk returning to her face, though soon disappearing as she realised that giving a kick to a overlarge snake was not the wisest of ideas.

Thom recoiled slightly as the large cobra rose before him, it's cold little eyes fixed upon him menacingly. He bared his teeth at it, although he knew it would do no good, and raised his wand tensely before himself. He was just about to shout once more at Boneman when the Ravenclaw Freya stepped forward, a less than impressed look on her face. Thom was rather relieved for a moment that someone was trying to make Boneman back off, but he soon realised that there was not much Freya could do - and Boneman was not likely to go easier on her because she was a girl.
'You heard her, Boneman,' he ordered fiercely, his wand pointing straight at Boneman's chest. 'Sod off back to where you came from. You're not welcome!' he narrowed his eyes.
'This is all your fault,' he hissed accusingly at Zachary.

Jerred shrugged, not caring whose opinions were being spoken. 'Fine,' Jerred said, swishing his wand and the snake disappearing. 'Just trying to make some fun and entertainment for y'all, but no one likes a Slytherin trying to be the life of a party, I realise that now. Well, I'll let you boring Hufflepuffs and suck up Ravenclaws to the bonfire, despite great chances it may rain and definitely not of my doing!' Jerred turned and looked at the fire one last time, before hoping anyone would take the rain seriously, despite the night sky being clear.
Jerred shot one last look at Zachary, before shrugging. 'They don't like to play, way to serious, need to relax, calm down and play a game or two.' Jerred laughed one last time before trudging off with his boots sloshing loudly, with him deliberately walking by Thom with pounding feet to stir some further aggravation.

Jac was stunned into stillness as she watched the slytherins and the hufflepuff bicker like an old married couple. It was astonishing how testosterone boys could get. She was so fixated on the boys that she totally missed Girty call her name.
And as soon as a ravenclaw girl intervened, Jac felt proud to be a girl. But then the hufflepuff boy had to go and be an arse and mess it up. "Oh, lay off him, mate!" she said, frowning harshly, her hair turning a fiery red. "The slytherin's right, we need a shaker for this cocktail." She looked at the slytherins and frowned even more, "and why don't you grow up, please! Snakes! You could think of better."

Brianna had heard tell of a Bonfire Night and as soon as she saw smoke she knew all she had heard was true. She pulled on her long leather jacket and headed down. As she walked she thought that she might be the only teacher present however this did not faze her much, she was young and all the young at heart should be welcome to celebrate the Gun Powder Treason.
She walked towards the smoke, as soon as she left the castle, and soon arrived by the fire. She saw that the turn out was pleasant enough, a few from each house to make it interesting. "Good evening!" she said to all gathered, "am I aloud?" she asked playfully.
Then she saw some people cooking marshmallows. She clapped her hands, like a giddy child, and jumped over to the hufflepuff who was holing the bag. "My I?" she asked, "it's been ages since I've had marshmallows!"

Girty had been watching the fight between the boys happening and was smiling stupidly when Freya and Jac joined in. But suddenly her attention was took away from that. As she looked up there stood a professor.
Taken a back Girty fell over backward and was soon looking up at the stars. "of course you can." She giggled holding the bag up into the air as she lay on her back.

Finding the scent of wood smoke and burnt marshmellow's too hard to ignore, Leigh stalked through the forest towards the sights, sounds and intriguing mess of the Bonfire he had heard conversations about when ever he was inside of his House's Common Room.
With little effort, Leigh strode forward, soundless footsteps not allowing anyone to know his approack. Upon reaching the location, brightly lit by the bonfire, Leigh stepped into the light in his tiger form, the fire lighting his golden eyes in articulate ways. He stepped forward, unaware of any one noticing his presence, but before anyone spoke out, Leigh reverted back to his human form, his sudden change leaving him with a drained feeling. Soon his senses returned to normal and he felt himself, or more so.
The fire should be the focus of the night, at least for a bit... time to change the feeling of the night. Leigh thought, raising his wand. He was about to cast a spell when he sensed the lingering effects of a spell cast, one with a strange sensation that marked that it was being abused. Leigh's eyes narrowed as he looked over his shoulder, the very sensation increasing.
It was then that he noticed students and a spot where he felt the sensation the greatest. Without warmth, without caring who was there, Leigh spoke out authoritively.
'Who was here and abused the spell I instructed once?'

Thom lowered his wand as two professors approached the fire - one a young woman with a big smile, the other his head of house. He shot a churlish glance at Jerred. 'Probably that dimwit...' he said, hoping his own assult against the other pupil would go unnoticed.
Red in the face, Thom moved away from Jerred, making sure not to look Jac or Girty in the eye as he passed them.
(( Lame, I know - so stuck... ))

Brianna laughed heartily. "Oh, let me ..." she said as she helped the Hufflepuff back into a sitting position. "Don't worry about that, I do it all the time," she giggled at herself and remembered how she met a lot of he people she knows: falling over them, onto them, between their legs, or just simple in front of them. She giggled again, shaking her head at herself, and gratefully took a marshmallow.
She found a stick that lay nearby and sat next to the students, crossing her legs and rocking on her toosh like an excited five year old. She stuck out her hand, holding the stick, and stuck the marshy into the flames. She watched it cook for a short while but the felt a familiar tug in her mind. She looked up to where the tug had come from and saw, who obviously had to be, a professor. He seemed stern like Fagin but was obviously younger. She looked at the Hufflepuff who had fallen over and asked, "who is that?" indicating the man she had spotted.

"Who's, who, what?" Girty asked feeling very confused. With a quick glance around she noticed that Professor Addis was standing by the fire.
"Oh him." She groaned as she looked back at the female professor. "That is Professor Leigh Addis, he is the head of Hufflepuff and Defense against the dark arts teacher."
Girty popped another marshmallow into her mouth and continued to chew, wondering if she was going to be asked any more questions.

"O," said Brianna, thoughtfully, looking back at the professor. "He seems to be very anally retentive to me. Why is everyone so uptight?" She threw her arms up in exasperation, then let them drop.
She took another marshmallow and stuck it onto the stick, sticking that into the fire. She watched it cook and burst into flames. She nudged the hufflepuff girl and whispered, "watch this!" and showed her the flaming marshmallow. She flicked the stick over her shoulder and brought it forward, flicking the flaming ball over the fire and towards Addis.

Girty watched open eyed as the Professor threw the flaming marshmallow at Addis. Trying hard to reframing from laughing she covered her mouth with her hand trying desperately to muffle out the sound of laughing.
After a few moments of calming herself down Girty looked over at Bree and smiled at her before toasting a new marshmallow. "I think you will be a big hit with many of the pupils if you keep this up."
Girty started to giggle again as the fireball flew and hit Leigh on the shoulder.

Bree smiled conniving at Girty as she took the marshmallow. "Give us two more," she whispered evilly, "let's make it rain!" She stuck the marshmallows on and quickly began burning them. As soon as there were no longer pink fluffy marshmallows but flaming balls she quickly flung them at Addis. They flew in very pretty arches leaving flaming tails behind them. "Look," she said, remembering an excursion with her father, "fireworks!"
