The centaur stared down at him in eerie silence, his eyes unblinking and unmoving. One of its large white hooves raised slowly, before snapping down to the ground heavily, causing a large vibration. His bright, grey blue eyes were narrowed, glaring upon Zachary's face hauntingly. 'I believe,' he said calmly. 'You're headmaster would have told you the Forbidden Forest is off limits to you?' his torso bent down so that his face was very close to Zachary's.
'You are nearly a man...' he said darkly. 'A shame for you indeed...'
He reared up suddenly, his face contorted in rage. Neither student had a chance to move as he came back down swiftly, his from hooves kicking out like lightening, knocking them both of their feet - Erin more so, being lighter. She skidded a few feet before stopped, but the centaur had made sure to keep the human boy right where he was, his hoof pushing Zachary into the earth.
'Why should I not kill you?' he said in a low voice, his fists clenching slowly.

Zachary immediately gasped as he fell to the ground, pinned down heavily. He realized with a jolt of tremendous fear that he couldn't aim his wand at the centaur as his arms were locked to the ground.
As the centaur dug him into the ground, Zachary let out a choked sound wondering if he was the only one of the three that was still conscious. He felt his body bruise in a million places, his sides aching painfully.
"You can't--" He looked up at the centaur fearfully, his own green eyes locking with icy grey. He gulped visibly. "They'll find out... The professors-- They'll see what you've done." He took in a deep breath, closing his eyes briefly. "The Ministry will deem you even more dangerous, my father--" He felt his voice grow stronger. "He'll do something about it, might even try and get your lot exterminated."
He swallowed, feeling sweat dribble down his cheek.

The centaur roared. 'You're headmaster knows our terms, human foal!' he said with undeniable rage as he bent down to the ground and roughly grabbed Zachary by the shoulders of his robes. He pulled him up from the thick earth, wrapping one hand around the human's neck while the other continued to hold him up. 'No sordid ministry army can move us,' he spat in Zachary's face, his teeth bared as he spoke.
His fingers tightening more around Zachary's throat, and without warning the centaur slammed him against the tree trunk Thom had fallen from so hard that bark shook loose. 'You dare desecrate this graveyard?! You DARE take the bones of my brethren!' His voice so powerful that Zachary's ears began to ring.
The centaur looked towards the ground at their feet, and sure enough there was a skull. A human shaped skull. 'You steal our ancestors?' he hissed, his words dripping with hatred.

Zachary felt the wind knocked out of him as he was slammed against the trunk. His eyes were squeezed shut tightly as he wheezed out words that sounded almost like he was pleading.
After hearing the centaur's angry words, Zachary's eyes snapped open and he took in a huge, shuddering breath. His gaze slowly followed the centaurs, and he noticed with a sinking stomach there was indeed the bones of a centaur laying at his feet.
He vaguely wished he could have traded at the Hogshead just once before his untimely death, as he was sure the centaur was going to stamp him unconscious by the look in it's ferocious eyes.
"Ollivander said--" he wheezed, his hair falling into his eyes and he tossed his head blinking rapidly. "She said they didn't care, that you wouldn't leave it out in the open if you didn't want someone to just take it."
He remembered having to dig through leaves and all sorts of muck before being able to find a bone for himself. He conveniently left that part out.

The centaur raised Zachary's chin as he listened to him speak, twisting his head from side to side as if threatening to snap it off. 'Ollivander?' he whispered gently, the name vaguely familiar to him from many years ago. 'A descendant I assume...' he mused to himself. He at last tightened his grip on the boy's throat again, pushing him further into the trunk. 'There are things missing here - what did the Ollivander take?' he growled deeply, suddenly more interested in her than finishing the boy's life.
His head snapped towards the ground as Thom groaned suddenly, only to fall still again.

Zachary raised his eyebrows, surprised at the centaurs sudden curiosity. He scrambled up and licked his lips, squinting as he tried to remember.
"She- she took plenty of things," he said swallowing. "A Unicorn led us here, she plucked some of his hairs off--" he paused, before adding, "With his permission," hastily.
His gaze followed the centaur's once again, and he watched Thom's still body interestedly, before gulping. "Farsiris." He said finally having remembered the name. "She took the unicorns hairs and," his eyes narrowed when a distant image of her collecting something behind a tree flashed through his mind.
"A- A claw? Of some sort?" He took in a deep breath, clutching at his sides.

'Farsiris?' The centaur snapped harshly, angered again. 'He shall be punished for leading you here - for letting you touch it and take the bones of its family!' the centaur reared up once more and knocked Zachary to the ground once more. 'A message to the Ollivander - bring what they took, or no human shall be safe from any creature in this forest again.'
His face was suddenly solumn now as he stared off at the graveyard, eyes wandering over the endless scene of bones in various stages of yellowing. He bend down and picked up the human shaped skull that they had looked at a moment ago. He looked into it's eye sockets, as if he knew it.
The centaur came forward to Zachary now. He reached forward, slipping his hand into the boy's robes, and gently removed the three bones hidden there. 'You would be dead if I didn't not need back what the Ollivander took.' he said quietly. 'Go.'
Throwing his long black hair over his shoulders, he reared up once more and thundered off back towards where he had seemingly emerged from. 'Tell her Mercutio is after her!' he shouted after himself, just before his footfalls died away completely.

Zachary slumped to the floor, his breathing shallow. He cursed Helia mentally and reached across the leaves for his wand. With half closed eyes, he leant his head against the tree trunk, before they widened as if just realizing something.
"Thom! Erin!" He cried, flinging himself up off the floor, groaning in pain as he did. He promptly tripped over something and saw it was Thom's wand. Picking it up, he moved toward the body hurriedly. "Thom, you bloody prat. Wake up this instant!" His voice was trembling and he shook the boy's shoulders harshly. "You have to take me back right now." He cried out, casting a quick 'ferula'. Bandages fell into the palm of his hand, and he grimaced before trying to tie one around the boy's head.
Just as he reached over to tie the knot, Thom jerked violently beneath him.

Thom squeezed his eyes shut tightly, the ground spinning slowly beneath him. He was weight down by the pain, cold mud and leaves under his head and hands. Achingly he opened his eyes with a frown, his teeth bared with agony and annoyance.
It was then that he saw Zachary leaning over him, white material in his hands. 'You little piece of dragon dung!' Thom bellowed irately as he sat up, grabbing the Slytherin boy by the throat. 'I should've known you'd try something - try and figure out a way to get all this stuff and take it to the Hogshead on you're own while I'm lying in the hospital wing in a coma!'
He stood up dizzily, dragging Zachary with him. 'I should cursed away all your bones! That'll be painful to grow back!' he said churlishly, snatching up his wand and sticking it against Zachary's forehead.

Zachary felt a wave of relief wash over him when Thom awoke, which promptly disappeared when a wand was drawn on him.
He stumbled back indignantly, before looking midly offended at Thom's accusation. His eyes widened in fear at the threat and he pushed the Hufflepuff back none-too-gently. "You bloody pillock," He cried, fumbling for his wand.
He paused for a moment, his eyebrow raising slightly, "I just saved your pathetic, insignificant life, I'll have you know. " He said, his eyes brightening with the realization he could distort the story to make him look like an absolute hero.
Immediately, he held a hand to his chest, looking very grave. "If it hadn't been for me, that great man-eating Centaur would have killed you. Knocked you unconscious, it did. You and Erin both." He stuck out his chin, looking down at them. "Of course, unlike some people, I managed to defend myself, and the centaur and I got into a very vicious battle," he winced, rubbing his ribs as if to prove his point.
"Of course, I was the victor, and that bloody centaur ran away with it's tail between its legs." He brushed off his robes, more for dramatic effect than actually cleaning them- They were far too dirty and would have to be given to the house-elves at this point.
Looking back at Thom, his face still set superiorly, he narrowed his eyes. "And I'm not going to injure myself if I plan to run away before either of you wake up." He said exasperatedly, "Nor am I going just sit there for an hour, you idiot." He rolled his eyes.

'A likely story!' shouted Thom as he stood up. He held onto his head as he swayed slightly on the spot, thoroughly disorienatated. 'You look unharmed to me - a centaur would have given you a least a nasty cut or two!' he pointed his wand once more at the boy. 'Prove - it why should I believe you?!'

Zachary sneered at Thom, obviously annoyed that his somewhat exaggerated story had been taken as a lie. "Oh, you want me to take off my robes then?" He said, making a face. "I'd better not, don't want to give Erin over there a heart attack as she's overcome by my beauty." His voice was fighting to stay calm and sarcastic as usual. He rubbed at his side again, before rolling his eyes.
"Not to mention, I'm not taking off my cloak with you around. You'd probably steal it, considering the one you have now is a fake and an ugly fake at that." He scowled, holding his robes tightly around him. "Now be quiet and take me back." He said seriously. "We have to go find Ollivander, that useless git." He added bitterly.

Erin layed on the ground motionless, the blow had knocked her unconsious and barely breathing. She could hear the boys arguing already and she gave a small groan. Erin couldn't believe what she was hearing, here she was completely unable to get up and the boys were arguing! Her eyes fluttered open and she stared up at the dark canopy in annoyance.

Tom shoved Zachary away roughly as he staggered over to lean of the tree trunk. He felt the back of his head gingerly, and realised Zachary had done a poor job in trying to wrap a bandage round his skull - part of it was looped under his ear. Ragging it off, he threw it at the Slytherin. 'Don't tell me what to do!' he snapped indignantly. 'I'm going back on my own. You can follow me if you must.'
He brushed off his robes, although it did very little considering the among and leaves and mud on them, and began to stride off with his illuminated wand above his head. He then saw Erin glaring at the sky with a disgruntled expression. 'He got you too? I think you might want to lay off your new heartthrob, Erin. He's a bit mental...'

Zachary watched Thom walk up ahead of them, before stopping to say something to Erin that he didn't quite catch. He made a face, rubbing at his side and trying to sooth the dull throbbing pain, before following him grudgingly.
"You're still going to help me find Ollivander," he sulked, "Apparently this isn't only a Unicorn shedding ground... It's also the graveyard for those savage centaurs." He looked around slowly, making sure no centaur was watching them, before placing a silver hair carefully into his robes. "And we're stealing the precious bones of their ancestors or some other nonsense."
He made a face, before kicking a skull for good measure.
