Thom shuffled after the unicorn, suprised that it didn't stink like most farm animals. He at last look at Erin. Thom had been doing his best to ignore her since she had shown up, but now the prospect of her tagging along with them was just too much. 'You two are too young. Sod off.' he said bluntly to them, shinning his wand back in Zack's face. 'And what? Do you think the scum that hangs around in the Hogshead is going to care if you're a kid or not? If you've got something they want, they won't care if they're talking to Voldemort the Merciless himself. I've been trading there since my second year.' he said proudly.
He grinned, looking at Helia. 'And you heard the walking brain - I'm the only one whose garenteed to not get trampled to death, since I gave Beauty here the golden apple.' Thom reached forward and slapped the rump of the unicorn.
It gave a distressed grunt, its back legs immediately reared up and kicking out at Thom with great speed and force. Thom screamed a little higher than he'd have liked as he flew backward ten feet, landing with a loud thud. 'Did you see that?!' he yelled furiously as he scrambled about on his back among the leaves. 'The great ugly sod!'

She shook her head slightly, "The unicorn itself doesn't have to be nice. Especially not if you hurt it. Only the herd of other Unicorns. Just because it doesn't understand human courtesies doesn't mean it's deft to pain, einstein," she said, sounding a bit more sarcastic than she'd meant to. She just couldn't understand some of the stupid things boys did, nor why. Didn't matter right now anyways, what mattered was getting to the shedding grounds. A, shockingly, greedy smirk appeared on Helia's face as they continued to follow the creature, 'Think of all the wand cores you can make!' she thought with glee, and very well would've kicked up her heels had it not been for the other students present. She'd been running out of supplies and here she was about to walk into wand core central! Twas brilliant.

Thom grumbled something inaudible no doubt rude. He ran forward to walk along side the unicorn, giving it a disapproving glare. It completely ignored him, and so he fell back and continued to follow it with his wand raised. Thom pondered for a moment, then said to Helia, 'Do you reckon this shedding ground has anything to do with that clearing we saw from the Divination tower last term? You know, that one that Unicorn constellation was pointing at?'
(( Just say yes, because Thom's just found that clearing in another thread and it's got unicorn bones and hairs and horns and all sorts in it. xD ))

Erin glared at Thom. Who the hell are you to tell me to sod off? she thought to herself. "You know, we could be useful for once you Hufflepuff Inbreed." she scowled. "Seeing that we're already with you two we could help for goodness sake. You are such a prat sometimes Thom, you never think." She walked beside Zachary. "I mean, your friend here did say she needed help right? The more the merrier I always say."

Thom huffed at laugh. Erin's insults had been so constant and similar they had lost all meaning. 'You clearly think you're too good to be here, Erin, so why are you here? And since when did a Slytherin like you have the brain capacity to do anything for anybody else?' he had tired of being even a little civil towards her. If it was insults that she delt in, perhaps they would ward her off. 'And I never think? You seem to forget that you're nothing but a little git. You don't know anything.'
Thom was now highly tempted to just leap on the unicorn's back and saddled off into the night. She was the most irritating little girl he had ever met.

Instead of feeling embarrassed about not knowing anything about the Hogshead, Moen's statement had made him even more curious and intrigued, "That pub's got a nice assortment of drinks," he said, smirking deviously. "If they're going to let me join their black-market, I can definitely skive off a drink or two. Mum never did let me have firewhiskey..." He grinned to himself, his eyes flashing, before the small quarrel taking place caught his attention.
He watched amusedly, snorting at an odd insult before Moen told them they were too young to tag along. He immediately scowled, and stepped forward with a sneer. "I'll have you know that I'm only one year away from becoming a qualified wizard," he said importantly, as if taking the time in which everyone was listening to him, to brag about himself a little. "I've passed most my classes with brilliant grades, and my mother's even promised me a new broom for all my effort..." He trailed off, seemingly have forgotten his point, before glancing at Erin.
"The point is, we're coming along. At least with you- you adults here," his face looked strained, as if he was trying his absolute hardest not to scoff, "we'll be more protected than if we go back-" his mind flashed to the dung and he shuddered. "Alone. And, as the Head Girl is here, she'll certainly want to keep us safe. It is her job after all." He smirked brightly, before turning back to the Unicorn.
"It has huge hooves for a baby," he said, watching them carefully, before slowing his steps to add more distance between him and the beast.

She answered Thom's question with a nod, "I suppose it might... it might indeed. I suppose we'll find out when we get there," she shrugged. As the argument continued between the Slytherin girl and Thom she turned around, a dark look evident in her eyes. "He's right," she said pointing to Zachary, though still not knowing his name. "As Head Girl I have to keep all of you blundering idiots that decided tonight, of all nights, would be a great time to come wandering into the forest for no reason other than to get yourselves killed, safe. Perhaps that was not your intent, but obviously you don't know enough about this forest to know to keep your bloody mouths shut. Now, were I you, though thank Merlin I'm not, I would start keeping my comments to myself, lest a very aggitated, sleep deprived, over-stressed Ravenclaw decided to silencio you and forget to mention it to anyone, or remove the spell herself. Do we have an understanding?" she said, her wand point shifting dangerously between Erin and Thom. "Now, if we can all stop flirting with each other, the Unicorn is getting ahead of us," she said, turning around and picking up her pace to catch up with the beast. IT wasn't difficult to follow, being that it glowed brilliantly in the dark, but she didn't want there to be any chance of getting lost.

Zachary beamed when she pointed out he was right, and sent the two of them a small, important smirk. Then, sneering down at them, he followed the Helia, only knowing who she was by her Head Girl reputation.

Thom narrowed his eyes at Helia. 'Whose side are you on anyway?' he mouthed to her before carrying on. From what he remembered last time, the clearing had been only about a five minute flight from here. He wondered how long it would take walking with so many people and a glowing unicorn? He hoped that the clearing he had found had been the shedding ground. There had been at least one hundred unicorn skeletons there.

'Whichever side will keep me from getting killed,' she mouthed back angrily before tripping on a branch... not a branch, it was white. 'Could be stripped wood...' she thought, reaching a hand over to touch it... but it was cold. There was no vein of magic running through it like with wood. As she traced her hand along it she could feel there hand once been magical properties... but they were long dead. "It's bones..." she said, then looked up. The Unicorn had stopped moving, "Look like we're here. Plunder while you can I suppose," she said as she stood up, brushing the leaves and dirt off of her robes.

Zachary stopped walking suddenly so he wouldn't bump into Helia or the Unicorn, and sent the bone a wary glance. "A bone." He said flatly, looking at her a bit accusingly. "I thought you said there would be golden hairs and horns." There was a greedy look in his eyes, along with a slight disappointed glint.
He looked around a bit disgustedly, his gaze pointing at the ground. "Eugh, look!" He bent down and poked something with his wand. "There's another one!" He cast a quick hovering charm, watching as the bone floated in front of him.
Sending the others a pointed glance, he shrugged. "What? You didn't think that I'd actually touch it, did you?" He snapped.

She roleld her eyes, "Number one, only new born unicorns have gold hair, though you very well might find a few around here. Number two, there will be lovely things like that if you would simply lift your eyes from the gorund for a moment and look in a that-a-ways direction," she pointed past the Unicorn where there was a clearing, full of Unicorn skeletons, old horns, and hairs caught on logs and tree limbs. "Happy? Now stop whining like first years, the lot of you, it irritates the animals," with that she stepped around the unicorn Thom had fed to stare it face-to-face. She began humming softly and reached out a hand. The Unicorn sniffed it, then sneezed and lowered its head. She began gently petting it as she continued the soft song to herself.

Zachary immediately thought she was a nutter. Not five steps away from her, precious items sat just begging for her attention and there she was singing to some great beast. Personally, he didn't care at all about irritating any animals, but had quieted down when she suggested he was whining, looking haughtily at the Unicorn.
He noticed almost all the hair was silver, and scowled in Helia's direction, before taking a step forward. "Will they- they get mad that we're just taking their..." he made a face, "old body parts." As much as he wanted to gather all the unicorn hair and manes in his greedy posession, he didn't want to die in the process.

Thom watched Helia and Zack brush away leaves to reveal the odd bones hidden there. Thom looked up, and saw that they were on the edge of a huge clearing - the starry sky twinkling gently above them. 'You're not looking properly.' Thom smiled to them. 'They're nothing.'
It was then that he tossed his luminated wand into the air, letting it land about twenty feet ahead of them. A monsterous display of skeletons in various states and sizes was revealed, all piling of on top of another. 'What? You didn't think they're be just a few, did you? They all come here to die.'

Ignoring most of what was happening around her she finally ran her fingers through the Unicrons mane and as she pulled her hand away two pure white hairs sat in the palm of her hand. "Thank you, Farsiris," she said, before turning to the Slytherin, yet again. "If they didn't want anything to happen to their old body parts they'd bury it, or incinerate it, or trample it into the ground, or something. Leaving it aorund like this is asking for people to take it." She stuck the hairs into her bag and then watched as the Unicorn walked off, "So how much havoc do you plan on wreeking here?"
