It was half past midnight and for some reason, Erin Kennedi couldn't seem to fall asleep. Something was bothering her and she was going to figure it out. Erin quietly slipped out of bed and tip-toed out of the castle.
"Maybe some fresh air will help me think," she said softly to herself.
Erin opened the large, creaky doors and gently shut them behind her. The cool, night air nipped at her nose and cheeks causing them to turn a rosy pink. She walked to the lake and stared at the calm, almost glass-like water.
What's wrong with me? Erin asked herself as the wind blew through the trees.
A crystal-like tear dropped from her eyes and rolled down her cheek. She brought a pale hand to her face and wiped the salt water away.
Erin hadn't been feeling good the past few days and she seemed to be getting worse as the days went by. Erin looked at her ghostly reflection in the lake.
"What's happening to me?" she whispered into the wind.

Boggleworth sat a few metres away his head resting in the palms of his hands. He looked up as a figure stole down from the castle and heard a whispered voice, he stood silently and walked slowly towards the figure hearaing her last words, and realising it was Erin, he barely knew her, but she seemed in distress and so he wished to help, though he had more than enough problems of his own to deal with, he said softly "we've many things wrong with us, each and every one of us, though some people refuse to admit it, maybe talking will help?" he coaxed gently smiling at Erin whilst he sat down again enjoying the cool refreshing breeze.

Erin continued to look at the water when Bogglesworth was talking to her. She refused to make eye-contact when she replied.
"I don't know how I could talk about something I don't know exists. I don't know what's gotten into me, I don't know what's happening to me, I don't even know if I am me." Erin rambled.
She sighed and finally looked up at him. "What if who I am, isn't really me but someone else pretending to be me and failing miserably?" Erin laughed. "What the hell am I talking about?" she said shaking her head. "The me I know doesn't like anyone. She hates everyone that tries to get to know her. That's not me anymore."
She looked at her reflection again. "AND WHY THE HELL AM I SO PALE!" she said, fear in her voice.

Boggleworth sighed wearily, it seemed he would take on someone elses problems rather than face up to his own. "I know what you mean, and believe me I probably do more than most people in this place at least," he said remembering the voice of Henry in his head, but recently he had quietened down, in fact Boggleworth hadn't heard him for weeks. He smiled at Erin "be who you want to be, whatever suits you, and don't change for anybody, I don't and that works well for me. You can change who you are if you want to, I have; you just need the willpower...just keep talking to me, get everything off your chest, it's the best way believe me."

Erin laughed. "I don't think there's anything else I can really say," she said looking at him. She shrugged. "Maybe..." Erin sighed. "I don't know."
Erin looked around the grounds then back at Bogglesworth. "What exactly are you doing out here?" she asked. "Nevermind... none of my business. I'm bored. Are you?"

"How can I be bored? I'm with you." he joked grinning "nah I'm pretty damn bored too, I just came outside for the fresh air and a good chat, which is what I'm getting, so I'm happy," Boggleworth shook his head "so you're telling me you've a problem, but you've basically no idea what it is? Not easy to solve it then, but I'm here if you ever do need a chat."

'Absol-freaking-lutely there has to be something wrong!' Jerred said, crashing from a tree overhead and landing hard on his arse. 'That hurt...' He whined, rubbing his arse as he half walked, half-limped over to Erin and Henry.
'Look, no matter what the problem is, all problems are solvable, and I have a pretty damn good inclination of what said problem is.' Jerred said, locking eyes with Erin. 'I don't care what you think, what you care about, I promised you I'd help out in any way and now I shall. If he hasn't gone after you by now, he's the fool, not you. Erin, you're damn pretty, at least I think so, and he'd have to be a fool not to want to go after you. Whatever you see in him, he'd have to be a good guy for you to be so... in love with him.' Jerred hung his head, took in a deep breath and resumed his normal, childish self. 'Or he could be totally into someone else.' Jerred grinned cheekily, but upon seeing Erins expression, he faultered and lost any cheeky mood he was in.
'Uh... sorry?' Jerred looked away, quickly began walking backwards.

Erin laughed. "Jerred, I'm not into Zach as much as I used to be. In fact... I don't think I even like him like that anymore."
Erin kneeled down and stuck her hand in the water. "Tho I do admit, he has that certain charm. Besides, I know he's into someone else." Erin smirked. "There is this one guy tho..."
Erin played with the water for a moment then stood up. "But I'm not gonna tell you who." Erin laughed. "Don't worry about me Jerred, I'll figure myself out sooner or later."

'Somebody else?' Jerred said, raising his eyebrow inquisitively, a smirk crossing his lips. 'Just to remind you, I have devillishly annoying ways of getting things out of people.' JErred laughed menancingly, before looking away.
'You are who you are, Erin, remember that. You're a great person, kind, caring, a bit crazy... You should have some idea of who you are.' Jerred said, continuing. 'Besides, whoever the "new" guy is, he'd better be ready for a crazy time.'

Erin laughed and hugged Jerred, "What would I do without you, Child?" she asked looking at him. "You always seem to know the stupidest things to say that make me smile."
Erin walked backwards looking at the two guys. "So... since we're all out here," she started, "Let's have some fun."

'I always say stupid things?' Jerred asked questionably. He looked at Erin with an expression of inquisitiveness, a natural trait of Jerred's that needed to be quenched before he continued rambling.

Erin laughed. "Well, not always," she grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the water. "Besides, it's actually kinda cute when you say really stupid things."
Erin let go of his hand and walked into the water. She continued to walk backwards farther out as she looked at them. "Come on!"

Boggleworth smirked and waded out into the water pushing Jerred adn hoping he would fall flat on his face, in a nice way of course. Splashin out into the shallows feeling the cool refreshing water he exclaimed jovially "now that's better, much cooler." Splashing water playfully at Erin he laughed "you're so wet, in more ways than one,"

'Not always is bett-' Jerred began to say before he landed face first into the water. Pushing himself up from the shallow water, mud sticking to his face, hair matted he looked at the Hufflepuff with intense glee.
'That was fun. Your turn.' Jerred leapt to his feet, threw himself at the Hufflepuff and tackled him into the water. Jerred surfaced and sputtered water out of his mouth. 'I'm cute?'

Erin looked at Jerred and nodded, "Yeah, you're cute," she said wringing the water out of her hair, "amongst other things," she said laughing.
Erin turned around and dove under water, swimming farther out.
