Kam Mathis sat deep within the dungeons, his eyes studying the floor which he was seated on. He was back at Hogwarts, and for this he was glad, but he couldn't help but feel as though he hadn't belonged here either. Even the classes were beginning to lose their appeal as he sat on the grimy floor alone and gloomy.
A small squeak reached his ears, and he leaned back, finding himself staring at a small mouse. With a smile, he pulled out his wand and cast an Impedimenta spell. It caused it no harm, just slowed it down enough for him to catch. Reaching over and picking it up, he released the spell and watched as it thrashed about in his arms.
After a while, it quieted down as Kam pet him, and he wondered what he could do with it. Turn it purple maybe ... Give it a couple of spots. He was just about to turn it checkered when the sound of someone approaching caused him to look down the hall.

Boggleworth swept down into the dungeons, he wanted to be out of there quickly as there was rarely anybody there. Why he had to patrol there he didn't know. But to his surprise he found a Ravenclaw looking quite lonely, and petting a mouse of all things. "Nice mouse, wild eh? They make good companions mice, don't talk much." he grinned and sat down next to the Ravenclaw saying "mind if I join you? Nah course you don't, so what's your name then? And what brings you down here? Is it a good place to catch mice? I don't mean to give you the third degree, but talking passes the time away," he chuckled.

Kam watched the Hufflepuff with raised eyebrows before smirking slightly, looking back at the mouse. "The dungeons are a good place to think," he said as his finger trailed down the mouse's fur once again. "No one's ever around, probably because of the mice in the first place." He said this all in a vrey indifferent tone, before leaning his head back against the wall.
"I think I should name it," he said absentmindedly. Then, he moved his head off the wall, looking a bit sheepish. "After I tell you my own, of course." He held out his hand formally. "Kam Mathis."

"The name's Boggleworth, pleased to meet you, Kam," he shook his hand warmly. "So are you usually a bit of a reclusive? Though I must admit having time to think properly must be good, something I rarely have these troublesome days, I would most definately name it, have it as a pet if you so wish, it'll soon come if you feed it I'd guess," chuckling he continued "we could do with a good thinker in the Guild, you should join if you're interested in such thing of course?"

Erin, who had been lurking around in the shadow's for sometime had finally decided to come out. "Boo!" she screamed as she jumped out. She started laughing as she saw the two boys jump. Erin tried to calm herself. "Sorry I couldn't help it." She said trying her best to stop laughing. After a moment's pause, and Erin trying to muffle her laughs she finally let out a sigh. "So... what are you boys up to?" she asked curiously.

Boggleworth saw a movement in the shadows his wand was out and at the ready his face a sudden deathly white and he muttered the name "Vandeasr" then realised it was only a Slytherin, the one he'd encountered down in the Forbidden Forest of all places she had arisen out of the shadows, and must have had some considerable skill at hiding for Bog's sharp ears not to have haerd her approach "christ you scared me," he muttered, "don't creep up on people like that, especially me, I haven't had the best past ever, so I may just blast you without thinking," his heart had stopped racing now, and he re-gathered his wits and his good nature. "sorry about that," he said kindly, "I've just caught this fiend catching mice," he joked "he's just getting himself a pet so I know his business down here, but what pray tell is your business? Just coming down to scare the living daylights out of me?" he chuckled

Erin smiled. "Well, love, I AM a slytherin... our common rooms are down in the dungeons." She laughed. "plus i just needed to take a walk, like you said before, the forest isnt a good place to find peace and quiet."

"What you mean somebody took my advice?" He said mock-astoundedly. "I suppose that is a valid reason, so long as I don't catch you down here after dark." He grinned, "well now you're here, why not take a seat?" he patted the floor next to him.

Erin shrugged and sat down. She pulled her knees to her chest and stared at the wall infront of her. "Exactly why are we sitting on the floor?" she asked confused.

"No reason in particular, is one necessary to just sit? Admittedly the flagstones are a little cool, but somewhat pleasantly refreshing," he replied laughing. "so have you got over your ordeal in the forest then?" asked Boggleworth with some concern, when he had first set eyes on her she had been shrieking and screaming, not exactly the best first impression ever. But he liked to get to know new people and didn't much care for the divisions of houses.

Erin laughed. "Oh that..." She played with the ends of her skirt for a bit. "Yeah, I think so. I don't know what it is, but for some reason I just can't seem to get along with Thom Moen." She shook her head. "And that girlfriend of his isn't too bright either."

Boggleworth chuckled "don't let either of them hear you say that! Thom's alright, when you know him like I do, you should give him a chance, but Novella I'm more wary of her," he admitted. "He's a good friend of mine Thom, but don't worry my lips are sealed, I'll forget anyway most probably."

Erin laughed. "I could care less if you told him... He already knows I hate him." She looked at him and smiled. "Besides... I am trying to be nice to him... it just doesn't work most of the time."

Boggleworth grinned back, "well Thom is quite a stubborn, mule if you like, he takes his first impressions more than I do, don't judge a book by the cover I always say...I sympathise with you, but keep trying and he may get a little bit, no promises mind, he's become very protective of Novella, not that she needs any looking after," He fell silent just a moment then continued "you should come to the honourable Guild, you might just like it, we do have one Slytherin at present, Zachary Daniels, I presume you know him? Quite a character," As was the norm Boggleworth had got carried away and started talking non-stop, but now he stopped to draw breath and let the others speak.

Erin gave a faint smile at the sound of Zachary's name. "Yeah, I know him...." She scowled. "He's such a nimwit." she said trying to hide any emotion. Erin shrugged. "Yeah, I guess I could come."
