((ooc I know it's nothing personal, your character is nice and mean that's all,))
Boggleworth turned back to the Slytherin as she responded first, "I'm Boggleworth, adn yes we're not all suck-ups as you call us" he replied happily, he was determined to treat people well with as much repect as they deserved, innocent until proven guilty he thoguht and let himself be the judge of character no matter what other people said. "Delighted to meet you Scarlett, though I've not heard of your family I'm sure I'll hear of you again. Enjoy the rest of your day," he stepped aside smartly waiting for her to pass on her way to the Slytherin common room.

Scalett smiled. She was actually starting to like this Hufflepuff. "I'm not surprised. Ever since Voldemort died, no one really pays attention to the important families anymore. Oh well.." she shrugged it off as though it were nothing, then went on her way. She hadn't even gotten three feet away, when she remembered something. She didn't know where the library was. she turned back towards the small group, "Um... can anyone tell me where the library is? I think I'll go there instead of the common room."

Boggleworth brow creased as she seemed upset about important families not getting recognition, personally he couldn't sympathise, to him no family was more important than another. "Well that's life for you," he called "or as they say in France c'est la vie!" he grinned as his rich french accent reverberated around the narrow corridor. About to ask the other two what they were doing he was stopped by Scarlett calling out once more. Turning swiftly on his heel he replied smoothly "a good choice, will you actually do some work though?" he asked as if it were a mortal sin, smiling he asked "any good at taking directions? I can easily tell you or else escort you there if you're desperate," he said grinning, meaning to test this new Slytherin and so he added "would you like your fellow Slytherin Jerred to take you? I'm sure he would, he's such a gentleman," he said with a laugh meaning it as a joke. Looking to Loren hoping she hadn't stormed off he waited for Scarlett's response.

Scarlett just smiled and rolled her eyes. "Never mind, I'll look for it myself. I'm sure I'll find it eventually." Without another word, she turned away and set off down the corridor.
((sorry it's so short. couldn't really think of what to say...))

Loren crossed her arms moodily, feeling somewhat bullied. She had remained silent while Boggleworth and Scarlett talked, grinding her teeth impatiently. Loren did indeed have too much pride when it came to insults from others, and she simply could not stand being beaten. Scarlett moved off toward the library with a farewell to Boggleworth. About time, she thought testily.
She turned to Boggleworth now, her expression thoroughly disgruntled. 'You don't need to come to everyone's rescue all the time, you know.' She said, referring to the evening at the club some nights ago. 'It's good of you but it'll land you in trouble if you don't know when to quit.'

Being astute from time to time Boggleworth did see Scarlett roll her eyes almost prompting him to roll his own, but he refrained from it. Before he could respond further and give directions she had already turned on her heel and was heading off. Deciding not to bother shouting as she probably wouldn't respond or think much to it he waited until she was out of earshot and said "well, what lessons have you both got? I suppose we're pretty late for them now though," he muttered almost grumbling, though he didn't much mind being late he thought Loren might. "Are you going to walk in late then Loren?" he asked then smirked at Jerred and said "I know you don't mind lateness." He hoped his rash words hadn't fueled Loren's anger, he smiled warmly at them both wondering what they would do now. Hearing Loren's comment he smiled now almost bashfully "I can't help it," he responded "it's in my nature whether people want or need help or not...sorry, I land myself in plenty of trouble anyway"

Loren's face softened and she sighed. She felt rather guilty now - Boggleworth rarely meant any harm, and she knew she was being harsh by reprimanding kindness. 'Oh, just ignore me,' she said with a miserable laugh. 'I should really stop biting people's heads off today.'
The passage to the dungeons was clear now, but she knew that her professor had probably left, tired of waiting. Looking at her watch Loren realised she was now half an hour late. 'Well there's not much point in me going to my private lesson now. What are you up to then, Boggleworth? Do you mind being late?' She asked, referring back to his previous comment.

Boggleworth smirked as Loren's temperament eased back to her usual cheerful self. "I'll bear that in mind next time," he chuckled "nah I'll never ignore you, not intentionally anyways." His ears pricked up at the mention of a private lesson "Is that animagus tutoring?" he asked "the private tutoring I mean," he added when he saw her blank look. "I don't mind being late in the slightest, if I ever turn up to lessons in fact, I'm just not the academic type, I suppose I enjoy a few of them, I was on my way to a lesson that I like in fact, but now that's driven fully from my mind, so I'll most probably just lounge around, working of course," he smirked. "How about you?" he asked wanting to know more about why she had became uptight, so qucikly. It hadn't really been bad, it just seemed out of character to him, though perhaps he was wrong.

'No, just a Potions private lesson. I do extra in most lessons actually... my mums a bit education mad, wants me to do well...' She laughed. It seemed a bit typical that she, being a Ravenclaw, should excel in her subjects, but she supposed that that was the curse of the Sorting Hat. It alone labeled you for the rest of your school days.
'I'm sorry I was like that before. I know you haven't known me very long so its no surprise that my temper came as a surprise to you.... I'm only usually like that toward Slytherins. They're incredibly frustrating to talk to. Why don't we go do something now? I've had enough to being here anyway, and I can apologies to my teacher later...' She smiled a him hopefully, not wanting to spend the rest of the day sulking on her own as she was most likely to do after this.

Boggleworth listened intently and responded "it doesn't matter a jot that you were like that, they may be your true colours for all know and talking to Slytherins isn't the easiest thing in the world. I totally admire you for studying hard," he said earnestly "I just wish I could myself really," he chuckled knowing he wouldn't much change. "Well I'm free for the rest of the day, so where would you like to go?" he asked not really bothered where just so long as he was with his friends. "Fancy a lovely warm hot chocolate in the Three Broomsticks? Only problem with going there is it's quite a walk to get there, I'm up for it if you are though? Unless of course you've a better idea?"

Jerred grinned stupidly when he labled Loren a "cute lass". Her reaction was well worth it, however, upon Bog's arrival, Jerred's humor fled. He groaned silently to himself when the Hufflepuff had shown up, the former Head Boy speaking frankly.
'All Slytherins are easy to talk to, some,' Jerred said, point at himself, 'are incredibly easy to talk to. Some,' he pointed at Scarlett, 'are not so easy to talk to. Just a reminder, you are only as good as the friends that you have, without friends, there is no you.'
Jerred looked away in silence, confounded by his own words. 'Uh... I think I'll go now...' Jerred left, scratching his head in confusion.
