Bailey laughed, at the thought of her parents.
"well you know same old really. Mum's as insane as usual, no one at home, think she's runs out of things to do, cept talking to the owls...can't be good for her!"
Bailey giggled to herself, whilst the thought of "those poor tawny's!" sprang to her mind.
"But.. the rest is pretty much the same as last time we met. How bout your parents and brother?"
The short silence after she had finished speaking became host to the noise of buckles being scraped along the hard stone flooring.
Bailey flinched at the sound and lost her concentration, she looked up just in time to avoid a young slytherin stalking off in the opposite direction.
She Said to herself "Well that would have been unlucky, two collisions in a short space of time..!"

Girty smiled as she thought about Bailey's mum talking to owls.
"Same old really. Mum and Dad are working happily in the muggle world. And well Dan well at the moment i believe he is in South America looking for a rare bird or something like that."
Girty giggled when she saw the close call with a slytherin.
"You should pick them up and put them and move them out the way. They are like little insects. There legs wiggle around in mid air and they squirm around trying to break free."
She noticed that her bag was starting to make a lot of noise so picked it and and out it on her other shoulder.

"ooo a rare bird, i bet that would be interesting to see.. i wonder if he will take pictures! though i spose that could interfere with the poor creature."
Bailey laughed alot at the idea of a little slytherin hanging upside down in the air squirming like a bug!
"hmmm i think we should try that next time one of us walks into a young slytherin... i think we'd have to make sure there were no professors or prefects around at the time though!"
They reached the staircase which lead to the hufflepuff commonroom.
"after you miss Girty Pig!"she chuckled.

"Oh I'm sure the prefects will not care" Girty laughed as they reached the staircase. When Bailey referred to her as Girty Pig she let out a snort.
"Not heard that in years." She giggled again and started to walk down the steps. "Come along Bailey's on ice. I will just dump the bag in the room and we can be off."
She spun around and looked to see if Bailey was following.

Bailey was slightly shocked when Girty span round, so she stepped back, due mainly to the fact that she had almost done it elegantly, which was of great suprise.
"ok then" Bailey smiled
"and look your shoulder hasn't fallen off yet." Bailey laughed.
"where are we heading off to then, Any idea?" Bailey asked as she started to walk down the stairs.

Girty looked up at Bailey and sighed.
"I have no idea" she flopped onto the step and let the bag fall down the steps. AS it reached the bottom a loud crack could be heard and the bottom of Girtys bag turned black.
"O well. I have stopped now. I say we make camp here."

"okies!" Bailey chuckled. She joined Girty on the worn down steps.
"good luck to any other hufflepuffs that want to get into the commonroom now eh! And look at the state of your bag now!"
Bailey laughed, and with a wave of her wand changed the colour of Girty's bag to Multicoloured.
"how prettiful!" she said without being able to hold back laughter.
"at least we nearly made it to the commonroom, we should ask the next hufflepuff to push you down the stairs! Would be rather amusing i'm sure." Bailey faked an evil laugh.

Girty looked at her bag and then gave Bailey a sideways glance. She started to laugh and pushed her in the arm. However this lost all Girty balance she had sitting on the small steps and even without Bailey's idea of another student pushing her Girty went down a few step's.
"Ow that hurt. Dam the laws of physics."

Bailey uncontrollably laughed at Girty and her journey down a few more steps.
"no need for another hufflepuff now!" she chuckled as she slide down a few more steps.
"these steps are rather hard,but i'll race you to the bottom!"
Bailey then laughed at Girty and waved whilst sliding past her. Bouncing off each step by at least 6 inches!

Girty waved as Bailey bumped past her.
"You do now your doing that the slow way." Girty laughed and lay across the step. She then leaned off the step and she sausage rolled down the steps. She build speed up as she went and ended up hitting Bailey. This stopped her and she rolled her eyes.
"i need to stop doing things like that which hurt" she smiled as she pushed herself up and leaned against the wall.
