Jerred strode into the Great Hall, taking his place on the Slytherin table. He saw the food had already appeared, and grateful for the solitude, he tucked into the food. He felt cold, shivers running up and down his body as he ate, nothing he did or ate or wore made any difference to his temperature. Soon a small flicker of warmth filled him, and with a satisfied smile he burped loudly, not caring whom was nearby.

Erin walked into the great hall and sat herself down at the slytherin table accross from some poor soul with no manners what so ever. "How charming." she said as she sat down and grabbed an apple. She tossed it a few times in the air before taking a bite of it.

Adrienne walked into the great hall slowly, smoothing down her robes before walking to her table. Having heard the loud belch, like many others, she sent the boy a look of disgust before seating herself beside the girl. "Attractive, isn't it?" She said with a slight roll of her eyes.

Erin laughed as she spotted the expression on the other students around her. "Wow..." she said as she took a deep breath. She sighed as she looked at her apple and raised her left eyebrow.

Jerred smiled. He didn't care for some two stupid girls opinions of himself. He was himself, not changing for anyone. He looked at the two girls and smiled. "And you think I'm rude, please don't be so sarcastic next time. No one was around, so why not make a pig of myself? Besides, I doubt when you two are alone, you are both pigs."

Erin laughed and raised her hands. "You caught me..." She said before taking another bite of her apple. She smiled cheekily at the boy. She set the apple down on a napkin and looked at the boy. "Just so you know, I wasn't exactly being rude, i was, well in your words, being myself. Its not my fault that I say things without thinking. My name's Erin."

"I'm Jerred." Jerred said, laughing inside. "You're not the only one who says things without thinking... the pathetic Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors and even some of the Ravenclaws... disgusting vile vermin."

Erin glared at Jerred. "Are you comparing me to them?" she asked as she motioned to the other houses. "The ones you refer to as disgusting vile vermin?"

"Why would I compare you to them? That's like comparing a Full-Blood wizard or witch to a pathetic mudblood." Jerred said, bowing his head apologetically. "I apologise if that's what you thought, with me comparing you to them, but we Slytherins are of noble lineage after all, we mostly are full bloods, are we not?"
Jerred looked away slightly, averting his gaze as he put emphasise on mostly. He knew himself he was only a half-blood, his true father nothing but a pathetic muggle, who raped his mother. Jerred's hands formed fists, his eyes showing his pain.
"I am one of the few Slytherins who is not a full blood... I am only half-blood." He said quietly.

Erin shrugged and looked at him. "You can't choose your parents. I already know that." she looked down at her apple and played with the stem. "I never see my father and my mother doesn't care bout any of her kids." she looked up. "Funny thing though, you'd think she wouldn't forget that she had ten kids." Erin laughed. "My mother is nothing and my father..." she shook her head. "I thought my father was a king growing up, but he'd rather be Mr. High and Mighty than take care of his kids." She sighed and looked at Jerred. "Pure-blood or half-blood." she smiled. "You're still a Slytherin. Don't let that crap get you down."

Jerred smiled at the reassurance. "Never thought you'd be... not so like the normal Slytherin." Jerred said, laughing a little. "I've always gone under the impression that I wouldn't of being accepted if I wasn't a pure blood, then again, you're probably different from the average Slytherin."

Erin shrugged. "I just like to think of myself as unique." She laughed and finished her apple. "I don't know tho, there are plenty of Slytherin's that aren't pure-blood. Sure we'd like to think that but more than 75% of our school's population is half-blood or less."

Erin raised an eyebrow at the newcomer and looked her over as if knowing what the poor girl was thinking. She slightly shook her head laughing and looked at the wall on the otherside of the great hall. "Have a seat, Sammy." Erin put on a 'friendly' smile and looked back at the girl. "By the way... I'm Erin, this 'adorable looking boy' is Jerred and this is Adrienne." [/color]
