Two weeks into the year, and Ash still couldn't quite believe he was a teacher. It was late afternoon, classes had let out for the day and Ash -guitar strapped to his back- made his way through the throng of students heading towards the Great Hall for dinner. Ash's footsteps however led him not to the hall, but to the rooftops of the ancient castle.
Ash sighed softly allowing a small smile to grace his lips as the cool September breeze played with his hair gently lifting it away from his face. The young professor leaned against the stone walls and pulled his guitar around to the front. Settling down on the cold stone, his mind wandered back to the past... as his fingers remembered a song. Thanks For The Memories the song he had been playing when he, Fay, and Bray had randomly decided to start a band.
Calypso, sadly did not last long before everything went downhill and Ash lost his two best friends. But... that had been years ago, and from what Ash had heard, Fay and Bray were having a tiff of their own.
So, why on this cool, starry night did he feel the absence of their friendship the most? Maybe the memory of how the three of them had come up to the rooftops on nights such as this one and gazed at the stars while fantasizing about the lives they'd have once Calypso was famous? Or simply from being in the same building as them once more? Hogwarts wasn't as big as people made it out to be. The three were bound to meet at some point.
Ashton, Felicity, and Bradyn. The Three Musketeers. That's what they'd called themselves. Now however, it was a mere memory... like the song said... 'Thanks for the memories'
((i think that was the song he was playing. cant remember lol))
