The Character
Name: Sunni Micheals Daiis
Nicknames (if any): Sunni?
Year: Sixth
House: Slytherin
Blood: Half-Blood, but says he's pure.
Wand: Beechwood wand, eight inches long core of griffin tail hair.
Personality: Sunni is a very difficult boy to grasp upon, he is both quiet and loud, outgoing and shy. Usually upon first meeting someone, or in some cases, the first few meetings, he will be shy and quiet with little words really coming from him. But after awhile, and only after he becomes comfortable around someone, the boy simply refuses to stop his talking and can be found as a rather entertaining boy.
But despite his entertaining manners, Sunni has the common problem of trust issues and has a difficult time trusting people. But if and when Sunni does decide that you are indeed worry of his trust, he will pour out his heart and soul to you and share his deepest darkest secrets, which he can sadly say he has many of.
School is not one of his priorities either, and can be found sitting in the back of class not paying attention and instead doodling away, sketching out his heart and soul. Keeping these drawings to himself and much rathering a painful death than to have them exposed. But despite his obvious lack of academic achievement and want, he is truly ambitious boy and will do anything, litteraly anything, to get to his ends. These ambitions of course laying in the arts where he has tucked away his soul to say the least.
But don't get Sunni wrong, as little as he resembles his fellow Slytherins he does indeed share quite a few qualities that many of them wear. Such as Sunni's sad knack for coming off as cold and uncaring, which he doesn't mean really, but his bluntness and non fear of letting people know if he likes them or not gives it off. Also, Sunni has a bit of smart-mouth and uses it quite well in classes and with people who get on his nerves, mainly people who will make fun of him, seeing as it seems to be a usual occurance for him.
But Sunni also has more differences to the usual Slytherin stereotype than there alikeness. Firstly, Sunni has adopted several Muggle-likes thanks to his mother, who is after all a Muggle and the fact that many of his friends out of school are Muggles as well. These likes again, mainly lying in creative areas, such as music, fashion, movies and art. Also, Sunni is not always the cold-hearted, I-don't-care-about-you-unless-your-pure-blood attitude either and can be quite kind and caring for people when he feels like it.
Appearance: Sunni is not one to 'follow the crowd' of the world clothes and fashion wise and would rather create his own path, even if it does occasionally get him beat up. His hair is longer than most boys his age and goes down to his jawline, black and rather straight most of the time, but usually quite messy and looking uncared for. As if he had just stumbled out of bed with out a care, which usually is the case honestly. His eyes are hazel and usually found caked with make-up that he is unafraid to wear proudly and happily, even if he is scolded by family for it and beat up around sometimes as well. Sunni is also not much to go up against, the boy not really built at all and just holding a slightly smaller than average frame, but his height does only make him look skinnier, soaring up to 5'11". [and boy is still growing.] Another aspect of the appearance of Sunni Daiis you would probably notice is the fact that all his clothes consist of the color black, not a day goes by that the color is not worn by him. Sure, some jeans will be seen and maybe an accent of color here, but black will always always be able to be found. Otherwise, the boy may just have to hurt himself.
History: Sunni was born to a rather good life, his mother a muggle who would stay home during the next eleven years to raise her son, and his father a wizard who worked at a small store he owned himself. No siblings really came ever for Sunni, and he couldn't lie he didn't mind and probably wouldn't in the future. He was well treated at home, his mother telling him he could be what he wanted to be in life, no matter what. But when Sunni finally had to got to school when he was five, to get some kind of muggle education in him while they could, he was terribly bullied and as age raised came home with more and more cuts and bruises from fights he got himself into. Sunni immersed himself in his room, spending too much time alone, sitting in his closet drawing away, distancing himself as much as he could from all the other kids at school, determined to stand out and one day prove to them that he would be a something, and they would all be proved wrong.
But soon, by the age of eleven, like every wizard his age, he was sent off to Hogwarts, Sunni secretly praying it would be different than the school he had known for years and years. And couldn't lie that it was quite, he was staying at the school and made a few friends, well very few to be honest. But, still the teasing and fights stayed and Sunni again got the usual treatment from many. So, again the boy hid away, expressing his feelings of aloneness, wants to be accepted, anger, depression through art, drawing away, even if in the middle of class. Dreaming up the day he'll break away and prove all of them how wrong they are.
