Harrison had expected to do some eye open sleeping in this lesson; it was normally the way with muggle studies. The professor rambled on about something that no one really cared about and they all pretended to take notes, it was only the squares and geeks that made any form of effort normally. However it seemed that the late comers into the lesson had seemed to make it interesting and simply because Ellie was making an effort Harrison felt the need to join in the lesson and attempt to impress Ellie with his knowledge on the muggle world. He listened closely to what Julianna had to say and also the questions which Professor Hubbles fired right back at them and for the first time…well ever Harrison was getting into a Muggle Studies lesson.
In fact he was about to volunteer an answer when Ellie spoke before him and rattled off the answers that Harrison was about the say, well all but one that was. With a small smile Harri interjected before the Professor could answer Ellie and the little geek even put his hand in the air before talking. What had come over him?
“They also do that injection thing don’t they?” He looked around the room for support from his fellow classmates. “It like shuts their body down immediately so they die straight away of ‘natural causes’ I guess that is like the killing curse, just not as green and flashy.”
Harrison had never thought that a topic taught at school could be so difficult to talk about but even he, the cocky, arrogant sod who was scared of nothing was having difficulty talking about something as simple as killing curses and capital punishment. But of course he would not let this show, defiantly not in front of Ellie so the Gryffindor tried to brush these thoughts away with gentle sweep of his hand though his hair and a small grin over at the beautiful Hufflepuff.
