Ash entered Club Motion expecting to see the usual throng of people and hear music blasting. Imagine his surprise when he was met with emptiness and silence. Hmm, no music playing. No people laughing, talking, or dancing. That could only mean one thing. Nick had taken a rare day off and Club Motion was apparently closed for the day. And on a Saturday too.
Smiling widely Ash looked around for his boyfriend. "Nick, you here?" he called. Not hearing an answer he decided to look upstairs in the small apartment above the club. Taking the stairs two at a time, he opened the door to find Nick sitting on the couch in the small living room. Ash's smile widened as he saw his boyfriend.
"Hey handsome." he said, leaning over and kissing Nick on the cheek. "How was your week? I see you've finally done the smart thing for once and took a day off." he teased the older man. The fact that Nick hardly ever took a day off was a source of constant, yet loving bickering between the two. Of course Ash himself was busy enough with his duties as a teacher. So this rare Saturday afternoon when he could just be with Nick was greatly appreciated
