Located smack dab on the corner of the street is a small, quaint building that looks to be newly renovated. The canopy hanging from the door proudly displayed the name “Tempest Treats” across its surface. Taking a step inside the shop, the smell of fresh-baked cupcakes instantly overwhelms the senses. To the immediate left is the counter, with a case filled to the brim with assorted pastries, cookies and cakes of all sorts. Behind that is a wall filled with fresh-baked breads, and above that, different varieties of coffee beans line the wall. Next to the “bread wall” is a board, stating all of the sales and specialties that the bakery is known for.
Across from the counter is the seating area, filled with small, square tables and three chairs to each table. Placed on each table is an original centerpiece, which contains a different flower for each table. Walking further into the bakery, the bathrooms are located at the furthest end of the store, for easy access. The bathroom itself was a baby-blue colored single-bathroom.
Right next to the “bread wall” was a door, with no label and only a small window at the top. This led to the workroom, which house the shop’s many baking appliances. Only hand-made food came from this store, versus magic made. Placed at the back of the kitchen was the huge pantry in which there was a set of hidden stairs. Those stairs lead to the owners apartment above the shop, and there was also a set of stairs outside in the alley which lead to what would be their front door.
