Personality:
Amanda never really understood what her purpose was or what she was suppose to be doing with her life. Her family never really accepted her, she was deemed as different than the rest of her family. Amanda the type of girl that takes her time with things, she's considerate of others and is oddly patient. She's the kind of girl that takes votes to decide what to do apart from her older brother who makes every decision despite what others feel. Apart from her considerate side, Amanda has inherited some of her family's crueler habits. Sure, she's nice and friendly, but if you get on her bad side, she can be the biggest pain in your behind that you will ever encounter. Amanda's also a very quiet person, being sort of disowned by your own family will do that to you. She has a hard time trusting people but almost always gives others the benefit of the doubt.

History:
Amanda Penelope Reid was born to Renee and Markus Reid. As their second child, and daughter, she never received half of the privileges her older brother Markus the III would get. Amanda sometimes wondered if the only reason she was born, was to make it seem like the Reid's were family oriented when really, she rarely saw her parents and was often away at a boarding school in Switzerland.

When Mandy received her Hogwarts letter, she was more than estactic, she couldn't wait to go to a co-ed school, but Renee wouldn't have it. Off to Beauxbaton's Mandy Reid went. She couldn't complain, she knew her mother at least cared a little to send her to the best school's around, right? Or was it that her mother just didn't want her around? Either way, Amanda Reid was rarely around the Reid Manor, her parents, or her brother Markus; but Amanda didn't mind, she didn't fit in with her blue-blood family anyway.

Once she finished School, Amanda decided that she wanted to be a teacher, Potions non the less, and at the school she never really got to enjoy. Of course, she had to start off as an apprentice, but that didn't bother the girl any. Anyway, Now Amanda is at Hogwarts, 20 years old, young and ready for a challenge. She's a Potions Apprentice and highly respects the Potions Professor Will Vaid.
