Christi was already running more situations through her head. Her Felicity trying to save her friends but a stray spell hit her. Or, her being captured by someone because of this whole, organization.
Her gaze snapped to Bradyn when he grabbed her arm. She probably looked frightening, glaring at the boy in such a way. Huh, maybe that was where Felicity had gotten her icy glare.
"And why shouldn't I take her away? If she's away from there she won't be in any harm. Even if you promise to save her, that doesn't mean you can always be there." Rissy grabbed her jacket. "I'm not losing anyone again."

Bradyn let go of Miss Locke's arm with a shocked look and looked away as her words cut deep. He knew that he couldn't always follow her around and protect her from everything, but still having it said to him like that hurt. "She can't always be away from harm, what are you going to keep her in a bubble?" He said through a clenched jaw. This meeting had not gone to plan at all, and because of it he was going to lose Fay.
No, no would not. There was always his backup plan that he prepared, but did not wish to use. But this was an extreme situation that called for it. "Not going to lose anyone, huh? I'm glad to see we agree on one thing.." He muttered as he pulled his wand out of his pocket and pointed it at Christi, his hand shaking slightly.
"My sincerest apologies, Miss Locke. Stupefy!" Bray said quietly, pointing the spell directly at her and preparing to catch the limp woman. He'd have to do a memory charm and get rid of this meeting entirely. It would be better for the both of them this way.

Christi pulled on her jacket roughly. "I don't have to talk to you about this. You're just a child, what do you know." She was furious by now. Her daughter certainly would be sorry for lying to her like that.
She had begun her furious walk to the door when Bradyn spoke again. Rissy glanced over to him and noticed, a second too late, that his wand was out. She had no time to deflect the spell, or to even dodge for that matter. Christi Locke fell back limp, unable to fight against the force of the spell.

Bradyn frowned, feeling bad about what he'd done. He'd attacked an adult, which in a way was almost worse than attacking a teacher since it was one of his friend's parents. "Well, Fay, I guess I know how you feel about punching Daniel McLane now." He said with a hint of amusement in his voice.
He quickly levitated Miss Locke back to the couch and did the memory modification that his sister had taught him. May found it quite necessary to know in case he was playing quidditch in front of muggles or some other thing that wouldn't happen. But he did have her to thank, since otherwise he would've had to clear Christi's entire memory. "Guess the ministry's good for something." He muttered, still talking to himself. Deciding that he was satisfied with his work, he tried to remember how to stop a stunning spell.
Only it didn't come to him. He paced around the room for a few minutes, concentrating hard. Why couldn't he remember it? Then he tried to remember the lesson.. ah, he never liked charms lessons really until Hubbles came. And Hubbles wasn't the one to lecture them.. "Hah!" Bray said, remembering a particularly boring lesson where they talked about finding stunned people but never actually got to stun and unstun someone. Walking over to the door, he opened it so he could make a faster escape. "Ennervate!" He said, aiming the spell at Christi before he quickly left the shop.
On his way out, he tossed a bit of money on the counter and grabbed a couple of his favorite candy bars. He had a lot of thinking to do, and Bray needed something to mull it over with. Plus, what's a visit to Honeydukes without buying something?
