The Student:
Corey Madden does her best in class but usually her best is never enough. This could be a result from her lack of commitment when it comes to anything in general. She's a procrastinator and because of this, she tries to put off doing work until the very last minute when she's rushed and can't concentrate properly. She doesn't like to study and will express this either with a laugh or a whine depending of if you were a fellow student or a professor. She can be intelligent if she put her mind to it, but there lies the problem, she never wants to.
The Friend/Enemy:
Corey likes to think of herself as a good friend, but thats her opinion. She tends to get bossy when it comes to the matter of what to do or where they should go. She's pretty good at keeping secrets unless you give her a reason not to. She doesn't like it when others talk behind her back and if she hears about it, she's not afraid to gossip. Corey doesn't have a violent side, but she does get angry quite easily and can get vicious. If she was mad at you, she'd let you know. If you were her enemy, however, she'd treat you like her best-friend. You know that old saying, keep your friends close, your enemies closer; Corey almost lives for it. If you were to get on her bad side, she wouldn't lash out at you, instead, she'd find a way to manipulate you into ruining yourself.
The Girlfriend:
Corey's experience in the world of dating isn't the greatest. She's either did the wrong thing and chased the boy away or did the right thing and scared the boy away. Either way, her relationships don't last long and now she doesn't even like the idea of a relationship. She's a flirt but not a girlfriend. She can handle being an rebound or even just a make-out buddy but discuss a relationship with her and she'll end whatever it is you guys have right then and there. She's never been the best girlfriend and often likes to express her desires without a thought about the feelings of others.

The Fairytale Story, Maybe Not
The Parental Units Before Parenthood:
Janey and Peter met during a party, a rather, interesting party. Peter's Friend was hosting a house warming party and had invited those that he worked with, Janey being one of them. Although Janey Anderson was a witch, she did her best to fit into the muggle world and did so by working with them. Anyway, Peter's friend Jack invited Janey and a friend of hers to attend his party, and being the nice co-worker, Janey went. Once Peter and Janey met, the two hit it off pretty good, but it could've been the couple of drinks they had prior to their meeting. Either way, their meeting was one of those "love at first sight" type things, until the both woke up and realized what had happened. That Morning, they decided to say their farewells and go their separate ways.
The Long, Hard Pregnancy
Finding out she was pregnant and trying to find a way to tell Peter was probably the hardest thing she probably had to do in her 21 years on earth so far. How would you go about telling a man you've only met once that you were pregnant with their child? Well in Janey's case, pretty simple. She phoned Peter and told him. Of course, she didn't get the response that she had hoped for. He insisted on being there for her, which in all honesty, Janey had hoped that he'd at least agree to pay child support but stay separate as they were. That wasn't the case. Peter would move Janey and the unborn baby into his flat and marry her two months later. Of course, a relationship like that wasn't always the best. They hardly knew eachother, were barely in love and the only thing they had in common was the small parasite growing inside of Janey's uterus. When the final day came, Peter rushed Janey to the hospital where she endured 11 long hours of labor and another 4 just pushing. Soon, their little girl was brought into the world, Delilah Corianne Madden.
Before the Letter:
Growing up as a child of Janey and Peter wasn't all flowers and sunshine. There was a lot of screaming and shouting and more than enough times, a door was slammed somewhere in the house. Having a child complicated Janey and Peter farther than the complication already was. Before little Delilah had even turned two, her parents divorce had become final. Something about how they just weren't good for eachother and that they were sure they'd be better parents if they were apart, and for the most part, they were. Delilah couldn't complain growing up. Her parents lived relatively close, her father only being a few short blocks away but at least she got to see them both. She couldn't tell you if they were good parents or not, she just knew that sometimes people weren't meant to be together, unlike her fairytales that her mother read to her every night.
When Delilah was four, her father had remarried. Twenty year old Marcy. The bane of Delilah's existence. Marcy had made it so Peter was to give all his attention to her, not his daughter and instead of having joint custody, Peter signed papers so that Janey had full custody and he only had visitation rights. Janey knew something wasn't right about Peter's new wife, but as long as Delilah was happy to see him every time they visited, she was fine by it. When Marcy had become pregnant, with a boy none the less, little Delilah was out of the picture. Peter and Marcy had moved to the country with their new son, Anthony to start a whole new family of their own, leaving Delilah Corianne with her mother in the big City of London.
After her father's move, Delilah started acting out. First it was little, just some tantrums here and there seeing as she was so young. But once she was a little older, she started sassing back, yelling, cursing at her mother. The rebelling had started and Delilah and started referring to herself as Corey instead of Delilah. Delilah as the name her father had picked out and she wanted nothing to do with him nor his blonde wife and their kids. It was her and her mother from that point on... no matter how much Corey said she hated Janey. The only thing that bugged her about her mother was her multiple boyfriends that she would marry on a whim and soon divorce them. This could be the reason Corey has commitment issues when it comes to a relationship.
The Letter that changed Everything:
Janey never spoke of being a witch to Peter nor to her daughter hoping she'd take after her muggle father. But of course, she couldn't deny the magic in her daughter, especially when little Delilah would find her mothers wand and start conjuring dancing frogs when she felt alone. Of course, Delilah was too young to remember that as an older Corey. The day Corey received her letter, she wasn't sure what was going on. She figured it was some sort of joke her step-mother had come up with to insult her in yet another way. However, the long four hour talk that Janey had with Corey told her otherwise. She was different, unlike her father and his family. Finally something she had on them. But when Janey told her bout the "no magic out of school" deal, Corey got angry. Anyway, a few short weeks later, Corey was on her way to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Hogwarts:
At Hogwarts, Corey didn't fit in. She knew nothing of her mother's life as a witch and barely knew what to do herself. She felt like some sort of loner, someone that didn't belong in a castle as huge and beautiful as Hogwarts. She began to act a little controlling, the bully of sorts, one that wasn't afraid to back down from a challenge and usually came out on top. However, the attitude she had adapted during her first year didn't help her any in the friend network. No one wanted to be friends with the bossy, mean, strong Gryffindor Girl who could probably take on the first boy she saw. After her first year, she went home for the summer and began to question her mother about her life, how Corey could get friends and how to fit in more with her classmates. The only advice Janey could give to her daughter was to be herself, if that wasn't hard enough already.
Now Corey's in her Sixth year at Hogwarts. She's still unsure of who she is but at least she accepts her past and hopefully her future. She likes the fact that she doesn't have to be in a relationship to have fun with a guy like so many girls around the school think. Sure, they may have their opinions on the friendly Gryffindor but Corey just shrugs it off; let them play.
Dudes... you best accept this... it took me ages! lol ask SJ!
