Well he's certainly not my favorite -_- People always make him homophobic in fanfiction...
Well, not so much homophobic as horrible jealous of Harry (which he is) and willing to take anything to lessen him (which he HAS done.)
Besides, he hates Draco more than Hermione or Harry ever did.

Thats because Draco always insulted the Weasley's, not just Ron, so Ron who loves his family more than himself, would hate Malfoy and his family more than anything else.
