Girty chewed on her lower lip as she carried on hearing the conversation and admittedly light banter that was passing between the older people at the table it was then she felt someone touched her hand. Her first thought was that it would be Simon so instantly her eyes flicked up and looked upon him only to notice he still only has eyes for the future Mrs Kelly Biggerstall. Her mind slowly twigged and she turned to look at Jac just in time to hear her ask what the matter was.
“Nothing that is of any kind of importance.”
With a small reassuring smile at her friend Girty was able to convince herself that she had not lied, she had told the truth as her grudge against Professor Owen and slight flutter of jealousy was nothing compared to the many other problems that were lurking in the magical world. But as she watched Jac she did however notice the look she gave Kelly and Girty could not help but let out a snuffle of a laugh, it was the same look she gave to Dia, the look of ‘Stay away from my brother’
“Why Miss Biggerstall I know that glare, by chance do you…you…”
Girty once again never finished her sentence as the door’s to the Three Broomsticks flew open and a wizard stood in the door way, he had blond hair and long black robes but it was not Dan. She was starting to worry about where her brother had got to, with a quick glance at her watch she saw that time was slowly ticking by and the chance of Dan doing something stupid only increased.

Jac tilted her head to the side so far that her autumn coloured hair fell off her shoulder and hung down. She looked up at Girty, her dark eyes searching her friends face, till she saw a smile. A smile that was real. Jac sat up straight again and nodded, knowing that she would have to quiz Girty on it a little more at a later stage for she was now distracted by the irritation that was soon to be her sister-in-law. All the while that she studied Girty trying her best to ignore Kelly, all she heard was the angel's song that erupted from the hole in her face called a mouth.
Jac leaned on the table with one elbow, keeping her brother and that other one at her back. She didn't want to look at them and she didn't want to see that they were holding hands right there in the open. Her eyes narrowed, she listened with half an ear to Girty. Though she didn't want to she listened to what Kelly had to say at though she had no effect on the world around her at all. Jac didn't know what annoyed her more about the woman, that she didn't know what effect she had or that she persisted on ignoring the effects. The way all the guys in the room looked at her when she entered and she hardly blinked.
"Me ... me ... me ... what?" Jac said crassly, her face felling hot and flushed with annoyance. Jac was grateful for the distraction that came suddenly in the form of the door flying open. For a second the pub went quite before the hubbub started up again and Jac could feel her face cooling at the distraction. Girty seemed disappointed by who was at the door. Jac looked and saw a blond haired wizard standing there. Jac smiled at him before looking back to Girty. "Not who you expected, Girt?" she inquired.
