Addis had walked to the bar, being gentle and guiding. He could see that from the corner of his eye Bex was feigning that she had a little too much to drink. He smiled at her, hoping they would make it.
He did notice her, but had to be cautious because of her position within the Ministry. She bumped into him, catching him off guard for a moment though when he looked at her and watched her turn away his heart leapt. He felt Bex slip from his arm and he looked at her, seeing a knowing look in her eyes.
'Yeah, I do.' He said quietly, then remembered his offer to help her get out. 'Yes, just walk through the door and turn left! You'll be on your way to the school where you can rest for the night.' He knew Bex wouldn't follow his instruction fully, or at least, he hoped. 'Take it easy, I'll see you later.' He forced a smile, grinning widely and giving her a wink.
He looked at Ashlee and breathed out slowly, quickly moving her to her side. He put his arm around her in a protective way and leant in close and whispered, 'Whatever you do, don't hate me, because I don't hate you.' He made it look like he was giving her a friendly kiss on the cheek.
He pulled away from her and smiled cheekily. 'I have not seen you in such a long time!' He boasted, matching the noise of the place, hand holding his wand. 'I swear, with me working at the school looking after the kids and making sure they don't pull pranks on the Ministry and you working at the Ministry it makes it hard for old friends to see one another. Bartender! A drink for the lady, on me!'
He turned his head and smiled looking amongst the crowd. He spotted Bex, wanting her to get out of there before the Ministry fools realised their work wasn't done for the day yet.

Becki knew guys well enough to have the outline of how he knew that woman. Though she wasnt going to press it as it was none of her business and she had learnt to keep her nose out of other peoples business in the time she had been away from home.
"Through the door and left" she said, though going to the school did not seem like a good idea to her so she knew she wouldnt go there. Catching a hold of his arm before he left, she shot him a warning look, "Be careful, i dont want to find you dead" she said seriously. Meaning if the Ministry folk realised she was a Rogue, and she left without him... Well Becki didnt like to think on what would happen.
For a little while she stayed where she was. Once she realised he was okay, she turned and was just about to leave when a burly bloke grabbed ahold of her arm, "'Scuze me Miss, i dont believe ive seen you around before... Who are you?" Becki shrugged his arm off her and gave him a cold look, "You cant go around accosting people, sir. My name is Steffie Richardson, ive come visiting. I travel to different places." she gave him a warm smile, "No i must take my leave, good day" Not giving the man anytime to answer, Becki left through the door. Well that was a shave. Leaning on the wall outside the pub for a moment, she knew Addis told her to go left, but she went right instead.

Ashlee stared at the counter top as Addis spoke to her, "I don't hate you, for one," she said in a whisper, before putting on a fake face so none of the other Ministry employees would think she was in need of "assistance." She could take care of herself, she knew that, Addis knew that.
AJ looked at Leigh, "I don't know what my job is anymore," she said quietly, "I took it to help the children but now I'm supposed to treat each child as if they were a threat to the Ministry."
Ashlee was quiet as the bartender reached them, "You alright, Miss," she heard him say. Ashlee looked up and nodded, "Better than ever," she said putting on a grin for show. She grabbed the cup and stared at the liquid contents, "Makes me second guess wanting kids, you know?" she said looking up at him.
Ashlee nodded, "But yes, it has been a long time since we've last spoke and I'm glad you're doing alright," she said looking down, "I swear, you're giving me gray hairs with how much I worry," she said with a laugh.
AJ looked across the crowd and noticed Bernie trying to talk to the woman Leigh was with, "She better be careful," she said looking at Leigh, "That's Bernie, he thinks he's a hotshot. Always trying to trail you, for some reason. Everytime he gets close, I have to do something to throw him off guard," she said feeling a little weird telling Leigh that she's been protecting him.

Addis watched as the man named Bernie took hold of Bex's arm, though she acted quickly Bernie looked around like he was mutilated and sat down where he was sitting quickly before. He smiled.
'Ashlee, no one can follow me without me knowing. He has been following a false trail that I sometimes forget to update.' He said truthfully. 'I appreciate the concern, Ashlee, but with you within the Ministry it's far too risky trying to look out for me.' He knew that if Ashlee knew someone was following him it was in his best interest to look after her.
'Besides, I have many more officials after me than you could ever try and change. On average I think I have following me... a hundred a week.' He said, laughing. 'They have no idea how well equipped and with assistance I have I'm assured a fairly stress free Ministry life, except when I go looking for trouble.'
Addis turned and saw that Bex had turned right instead of left. Good, she went the other way, the safer way. He thought to himself, then paying attention back to Ashlee he leant in and kissed her gently on the cheek.
'Things haven't changed.' He said, hoping she'd know what he meant.

[ Intrusion because may's too lazy to start a thread with Mr. Everritt. ] May pulled her cloak tight around her as she made her way to her common spot; the Three Broomsticks. She opened the door slowly as to not make a sound which she had mastered by the tenth time coming. She quickly scanned over who was there, the usuals and.. hm. Interesting. By the bar she spotted one of the young ministry girls, and a rogue she'd spotted before. May wasn't against rogues, in fact she was usually the one to leak information. Still, for her own safety she slipped down her hood and walked to the far end of the bar where she could sit in peace-- if or when she was noticed. May quickly ordered a drink, her usually sissy drink of Gin and Tonic which commonly had jokes thrown at her. May was starting to be a known face at the Broomsticks and she realized she was slowly turning into an alcoholic, even at her young age of 23. She cast an inconspicuous glance towards the ministry gal again, what was her name? She couldn't remember, and the Rogue she had met before had surely supplied her with a fake name as all did. May herself was starting to go by fake names, except in the bar. By the look on the girl's face, May judged them to be talking about Ministry-Rogue stuff. She looked frightened and concerned, she appeared to be one of the many on the Rogue side. It was a dangerous path to walk the middle, and punishment from the Ministry would be harsh if any were found out, yet young girls like May had found themselves disgusted with Ministry and leaking out information. But the Rogues knew most all of it, how could they not notice mass amounts of ministry trackers following them with many people's lives at stake? [sucks, I had to write it super fast because mother was like "getoff!"]

Leigh's eyes flicked over to the door as it once more opened. Walking inside was a young woman who ws quite pretty, yet there was something in her demeanour that caught his eye. Keeping himself quiet, talking to Ashlee, he watched her, knowing she was Ministry as he was familiar with quite a few of the patrons in the pub. He had to know what she was up to, why she was here and he knew that she would be another obsticle in his escape, if he could get out without having to kill anyone.
Turning his full attention to Ashlee, he asked her quietly, 'Do you know her?'
He ordered himself another drink, putting it on his tab and downing two shots within a mere second of each other. He didn't care about the burning in his throat, he had to keep himself and Ashlee safe.
