With a deep breath Warren watched Vicky; it seemed that both of them had trouble answering that question. However the more he thought about it…it was a stupid question to ask Vicky as she had come to find him, she had left the castle while he sat a wallowed in his own self pity. His own self realisation ten brought a smile to his face as he knew the answer that was about to escape her perfect lips would be yes.
But as always Vicky did not just say a one worked answer, she gave him her full winded answer explaining how she only came in this pub to see him. But she did not stop there, she reassured him about her bad mistakes and how she has overcome them, how she wanted to be with him…it did make her feel a lot better.
Yet Warren raised an eyebrow as Vicky asked this question, there were a million of answers he could give and non of them he was sure would go down well with Vicky, he wanted to avoid sounding a bit too much like Dan at this present moment in time. Instead the man took a deep breath and gently pulled Vicky up to her feet off the bar stool; it was a graceful movement that would not have gone unnoticed on a dance floor. Still holding his loves hands Warren pulled Vicky closer to him so that their bodies were touching and once he could feel the warmth of the professor against him his hands slipped out of hers and wrapped his arms around her waist.
“I think I know what.” Warren playfully mused, his head tipping slightly to one side as his cool blue eyes darted over Vicky’s face as if he was trying to sock in every moment of her beauty. “You and I are going to leave this pub, we are going to walk hand in hand up that high street and stroll back to that hospital wing.” He was talking coolly and calmly soothing Vicky in fear that she would have a small freak out. “When we are there we shall have Josh to finishing checking you over to make sure that both mother and child are well.” He leaned in and rested his forehead against hers, he had missed being this intimate with a woman that he truly cared about. “How does that sound to you angel?”
