Kolby seemed to be the Quidditch aficionado so she thought the question she asked about the ball would be an easy answer. Staring at him waiting her own answers going through her mind she wondered which one was right. That was something she might never get to know because to her disappointment he didn't seem to know the answer to that. Hmm, that was bad or was it, maybe it was one of those questions no one could really answer one of those things that just was and people didn't question it. That's something that she would keep in the back of her mind, looking for the answer at some other time on her own.
Wondering what else she wanted to know about Quidditch he asked her how many Quidditch matches she'd been to. Funny thing since she had never been to a match. Her parents weren't die hard Quidditch fans. This suddenly made her feel embarrassed not like she was muggle born and knew nothing of the magical world, just her parents being over protective and keeping them away from the world they belonged in for so long. Home schooling was never a joy but she dealt with it, now she regretted it.
"No never been to one actually I'm still new to this whole thing. My parents were worried about the direction the wizarding world was headed so because of their paranoia my sister and I were home schooled until recently. So there's a lot about this new world that I don't know about like Quiddtich. I'm looking forward to seeing a match though because people seem to talk about it a lot around school, and a sport played in the air on brooms that's awesome. I just don't want to look like a total dork while I'm sitting there not knowing anything. How about you, you like the game a lot so I bet you've been to a lot of matches. Seen anything exciting? I mean people get hurt a lot and all."
Maybe she should consider taking that flying class the school offered, she didn't even know the first thing about that either. She heard great things about that teacher maybe he could do something to help her. "Maybe I'll take they flying class learn that then maybe I can learn Quidditch for real instead of just by talking. Whatdya think?"

When he looked at Rosalind's face after she asked the very good, but non-answerable question, he could really tell she thought that he was going to be the one that was could tell her exactly why they do that. He could tell that that question came up alot in her mind. He had never thought about it before. To him that was just the way the game was played. Case closed, but apparently other people think differently too, he wasn't the only one! Sighing he replied with dissappointment,"Sorry i've never thought about that before, I guess it just is... you know what i mean?" If she didn't well... he didn't have time to explain, so that was the only answer she would get.
The Kolby asked another deadly question. How many actual games she had been too and sadly by the way she took awhile to answer, his guess she was searching for a good way to explain why she had never been, he guessed she had never been. And his guess was correct. He couldn't believe it! How could you be magical and have never seen a Quidditch Game. Instead of thinking she was an idiot, like he expected himself to, he felt sorry for her. Smirking he said,"Merlin's Beard! Now way!" Sipping his butterbeer Kole came up with the best idea and blurting it out he mentioned,"Well then i'll have to take you to your first game... I think the next match is in a month or two!"
Laughing at Rosalind's next remark he had to think a bit harder. Seen anything miracualous at qudditch games. Well that's hard. You have to define remarkable. If he remembered correctly the both of them live in a world with flying cars and they go to a school to learn magic. "I have been to many games... only missed about five - I think, but seen anything amazing... nah just saves... like one team is fifty points behind and they catch the snitch so they win, but i'm still waiting for an incredible thing to happen in my presence!" Then she mentioned the flying class. "Yes! If you want to learn a bit more about Quiddich and learn to fly that is the best thing to do! I have spoken to and experienced the Professor and he is quite the best!"
In seconds he felt that it had gotten colder in the bar. Shivering he wrapped his arms around himself. The pitter-patter of the rain sounded closer and Kolby was having the urge to run out in panic. Clausterphobia was a very dangerous thing if you had it bad enough and Kole had it deathly. Rain made him feel enclosed, just because it can drench you within minutes making everything grow closer to you. He looked around sure enough something blew through one of the windows. Glass went everywhere. Hearing the screams of innocent people get slashed with glass he whipped out his wand and saw many other citizens do the same thing.... spells were flying through the air... hexes too.
This was a dangerous situation. Not to mention that Kolby was freaking out. He looked at Rosalind from the corner of his eye and she looked fine, like nothing was bothering her. He turned his head and body to face her. He had a look of concern. She was the smarty pants and he was the brave. Maybe... if he could get over his fear. Staring at her he watched to see what she would do, if she would act! Anxiety was catching up to him! Panic!

Was it wrong to feel like a dufus because she didn't know much about the most popular game in the wizarding world. It sucked for her but then what could she do about it, it's not like she asked to be kept from her heritage because of her mother's paranoia. Sighing she felt silly, not knowing the rules, having to admit she hadn't gone to any games ever. Perhaps now that would change whenever she managed to get to a game. Kolby might be fun to hand with at a game seeing as he knew so much.
Rosalind laughed, to cover up feeling bad when he said "No way" she already felt bad enough without that reaction. Trying to keep that bit to herself she appreciated that he offered to take her to a game. "Yeah that sounds like it could be a lot of fun, I'd love to go to a real game, not that that games at school aren't real or anything but I think a professional match would be way cooler to attend. That's just me though."
He had only missed five games, but that number didn't mean much since she didn't know how many games were played in a year. "You've missed five, so how many are played in one season?" This question was simple to answer or at least she thought it was but last question she thought was easy he couldn't...
Whatever thought she was having stopped dead. Something flew through the glass of the pub something the wind had knocked around. Glass flew everywhere as screams erupted all around them. Soon there were flashes of light coming from every direction as the patrons inside thought they were under attack or something. Rosalind jumped up freaked not sure what to do her hand still wrapped tightly around her bottle of butter beer slipped and so did the bottle sending butter beer and glass everywhere. At this noise a spell came flying her way, and she ducked down just in time to watch it hit the wall past her head and send pieces of it flying all over the place.
"What the heck" she shouted trying to see what happened to Kolby. "What was that?' came the next cry.
