Sarie Thimble was out by the lake. She had been staring out at the ice. She has always wanted to ice skate she had never gone near the ice with her family around. They would just push her over.
Staring at the clear ice. She wished she had someone to help her when she got like this. She sighed and rubbed her scarlet gloved hands together.

Kyle was strolling out by the lake it was a a gray gloomy day outside. cold as could be, but for some reason Kyle felt like being outside by himself, normally he is out here with friends, or his girlfriend, but he just broke up with her, or with his sister, but she was pissed at him. He looked at the icy lake and wished he could jump into it right now he loved the water, nothing compared his life with girls to his family. He had always been a strong believer for family coming first, but now he wasn't sure, after Carla and himself broke up he started wanting more time with girls, but never really wanted it with another Slytherin girl.
He walked along the bank when he noticed a girl. She was wearing Gryffindor robes and scarlet gloves, with a scarlet and golden scarf. He walked over to her, after noticing she looked a little down and he bent down and sat by her. "So, you look down today, what seems to be the matter?" Kyle asked out of kindness. He was a friendly guy for being in Slytherin, but the one thing that bugged him the most was people treated him different, because he was Slytherin.
"If you tell me what wrong, I'll tell you my story, I'm Kyle by the way." Kyle said again after a long bit of silence.

She felt alone than she didn't. She turned to a boy he had dark hair and very nice eyes. "So, you look down today, what seems to be the matter?" She felt right this felt right. She felt her cheeks warm up.
"I'm fine, just thinking. I wanted to go ice skating but I don't really know how." She looked down at her shoes. She hadn't talked to a boy for while and she really needed to get over Ian. "Hi Kyle I'm Sarie."

Kyle watched the girl that seemed to be thinking of what to say. He looked into her beautiful eyes and a buzz went through his body. It was like a shock feeling that he only got when he really liked someone, but he barley new this girl how could he like her already? He smiled at the girl and waited for her to respond and as she was thinking so did he. He began to wonder what he was always up to. Why he was always doing something he would regret in the end? He wanted to know, but he was scared to know, I guess he was scared to know the truth all in all.
"I'm fine, just thinking. I wanted to go ice skating but I don't really know how." So the girl wanted to go iceskating? Perfect! This was the perfect way for him to get to know her better. "I can iceskate and I'd love to teach you." Kyle was hoping this would avoid the topic of sharing his story. He looked at her and waited for a response.

"I can iceskate and I'd love to teach you." Sarie looked at Kyle. She couldn't believe it. She felt her heart racing. What if she made a fool of herself. A cold winter breeze blew making both of their hair go flying for him it was prefect, one a photographer would want to take. It just made her messy.
"Really you'll teach me," She smiled trying to get her hair out of her face. "Thank you."

Kyle felt the breeze as the wind started blowing. The wind was blowing his hair and her hair perfectly, it was symmetrical and when the wind stopped Kyle's hair fell down and went back to it's normal messy hair. He loved grooming his hair every so often, but most of the time he preferred to let it stay long and messy, girls found it more attractive that way. Kyle gazed at the lake and noticed that a thick layer of ice covered the water and it probably couldn't be broken from iceskating. He looked over his shoulder and nobody else was around it was quiet, because most people preferred to stay inside during the winter season, but for Kyle it was different, he preferred the outside during winter.
"Really you'll teach me," She smiled trying to get her hair out of her face. "Thank you." He watched as she tried to fix her hair and it was so cute. He couldn't help, but chuckle and then pulled her hair back away from her face. He looked at her in the eyes and replied, "I'd love to and don't worry I'll hold onto you so you won't fall." He smiled at her and then waited for her to reply, but was also wondering at the same time if Sarie liked him.

Sarie hadn't been with a boy so charming since Ian had left. She couldn't help liking him. His eyes where what got her they where so nice. She had heard him chuckle when she was fixing her hair. "Thank you. I'm going to fall a lot just to warn you." She hoped that he wanted to at least be friends. He was nice kind. "What year are you in?" She knew what house though she had a few friends Slytherin. It didn't matter what house he was in she just cared about him and that's all that really mattered.

He looked at her with a grin. "Thank you. I'm going to fall a lot just to warn you." she said. "I won't let you fall." He answered standing up and then helping her stand up. He normally only liked Slytherins, but there was something about Sarie that was getting to him and if she liked him, maybe she would be his girlfriend. The thought of having a girlfriend made him happy, he missed having someone to protect and to call his own. He was a great guy and a lot of girls wanted to be his girlfriend, but he was looking for that one.
"What year are you in?" she asked. "Oh me, I'm a third year, and you? he asked. He knew she was in Gryffindor, just like his sister, but never really thought about dating a Gryffindor, but for some strange reason this one Gryffindor changed his mind.

"Me too..." She felt like she was special it was the look in his eye. It made her fell the like she was the only girl in the world. He held out his hand wish she took. A tickling feeling started it remembered of a song she had once heard while out shopping her dad. How did it go. Starts in my toes than I crinkle my nose... That was it she wanted that feeling to stay.

So she was a third year like him. This was perfect. He wanted to ask her out so bad, but wasn't sure she liked him like that, but it was worth a try. He would think and if the ice skating adventure went good, then he would ask her out. He felt like this could be a good beginning that maybe this could be the start of something new for the both of them. He looked at her beautiful long red hair as he helped her up and then as there hands touch a shock filled his body, it was like a connection shock. One you receive when you know its the right decision your making. He smiled showing his pearl white teeth and gazed at her as she stood up. She was a little bit shorter than himself, but she was gorgeous.
Kyle took in a deep breath of air as he started walking down towards the lake, in step with her. The air smelled like fresh winter tree pine and freshly laid snow. He looked up at the sky and it was it's normal gray winter color, but it was perfect today. Today was a perfect day, because today might be the day he got another girlfriend. He was at the edge of the lake now as he bent down and tapped the ice, making sure it was safe. He didn't want to risk falling in or anything that might get either of them injured or sick. After checking the ice he pulled his wand out. "Do you have ice skates with you, or do you need some? He smiled at her, after he asked.

Sarie followed him down to the lake. If love did happen at first sight... "Do you have ice skates with you, or do you need some? She didn't realize what she had done till he said that. She giggled at her own stupidy.
"I forgot them upstairs... I forgot them and I didn't realize till just now." He was going to think her dumb he was really going to. She had never forgotten something that she needed before. The flush the was making her cheeks glow kept her face warm from the cold. She started to laugh. It was the worst time to laugh but she was laughing. "Wow I must look like an idiot I mean a real idiot..." She cut herself off. He was going to think her stupid. She wanted to look in to those eyes forever...

Kyle waited for her to speak and while he waited he looked into her eyes, oh he loved her eyes, there was always something about him and looking into girls eyes that made him know if they where the right one's or not, he didn't know why, but that was just one of his many feeling he had in his body when he looked at a girl. "I forgot them upstairs... I forgot them and I didn't realize till just now." she answered, after a tiny bit of silence not to much silence, but just a little. "It's OK, I don't have mine either." Kyle replied and then with a lift of his wand and a sputtered spell said two pairs of ice skates appeared in front of him. He sat down again, and then helped her sit down to. It wasn't that she couldn't sit down by herself, but as a gentleman Kyle always learned to help the lady.
Kyle slowly began taking off his shoes and then helped Sarie take off her's. He smiled at her and then she began to speak, "Wow I must look like an idiot I mean a real idiot...". "No your not an idiot, it happens. I hope you don't mind me helping you this much." He answered her. How could she think she was an idiot? She was perfect and soon to be his. He gave her a reassuring smile and then laced up his ice skates. After, lacing up his ice skates, he helped her put her's on and then as he finished helping her, he looked into her beautiful eyes and began to smile even more.

Not only did he accio her skate but he helped her put them on. This was way to go to be true. She loved his brown eyes, his dark hair and how kind he was. She felt heart skip another beat when he smiled at her. She was going to go skating alone with this guy. She must be the luckiest girl in the world. She felt the tingle agian.
She wanted this to keep going forever and never stop. She was shaky on the stakes but he made sure she didn't fall. She knew that he would but she didn't want to take him down with her. She didn't want to ruin that smile that held her where she stood.

Kyle watched the girl gaze up at him and as she gazed at him; he gazed back. He looked into her chocolate brown eyes and felt a shock in his body. He slowly stood up and helped her up again and this time he didn't let go of her. He didn't want to risk her falling, but if she did he would catch her. He would do anything in the world for this girl and maybe there was a reason that he recognized her. Maybe because, right! "Your dad owns the bakery that my dads works at! He said aloud.
He couldn't believe this was true. His dad worked at her dad's bakery and his dad, owed a lot of money to her dad and if he couldn't pay soon he would be forced to be sued and forced to be a personal house elf to the Thimble's, just like his dad agreed with her dad. So is it OK that where together? Can we still date? There was so many questions coming in his head right now he had to let it out. "I don't know if I can date you. You see my dad owes a lot of money to your dad and if my dad doesn't pay it off by the end of the month I have to quit school and become a personal house elf at your house. He let out slowly. "I'm not aloud to associate with you, it was your fathers orders. He let out even quieter and slower.

"Daddy never told me about that... and I don't care. Daddy should be happy if I'm happy and if you have to act like a house elf it will be here at school with me. Do you like that." She hoped her father would approve but if he didn't too bad for him. "You want to date me." She hadn't even realized what he had said at first. She would have to make this work she would have too....
Kyle was the first boy not only that wanted to date her but even seem to really understand. She wondered why her father hadn't told her about this. She didn't care what he said if he wanted to date her she was going out with him. "Do you still want to date me?" She asked not caring what her father would say or do later.
