So, today, June 25, 2009, the entertainment world was hit with two shockers. The first and probably most shocking of all was that the beloved pop king, Michael Jackson died today after going into cardiac arrest, slipping into a coma, and then passing away around 3 pm Pacific Standard Time. I feel like lately so many celebrities who still had so much to give to the world have been snatched away. Bernie Mac, Heath Ledger, and now, MJ, who was only 50 years old. However, I am more upset that also today, the beautiful Farrah Fawcett, known for being one of the sexy ladies in the origanal "Charlie's Angel's", also passed away from anal cancer. Of course the idea of anal cancer makes you giggle a little, but it is just sooo sad. My own character Farrah Collins is named after Farrah Fawcett. I think she was absolutely gorgeous. however, the saddest part of the story is that finally after about 30 years of being together, Fawcett and her long time boyfriend/fiance/whatever you call him, Ryan ONeal, decided that they were going to get married as soon as Farrah was well enough to say "I Do." However, there was not enough time for them to be wed before she passed. Such a sad day. Bad things come in threes...oh dear.

I heard about both of them, and I am very shocked, to say the least. I had no idea anything was wrong, and then it just hits out of nowhere.
As a fan of Michael's music I am very sad and disappointed, and while I haven't seen the original Charlie's Angels I hope Farrah and Michael both rest in peace.[/color]

The death of both is a tremendous loss to the entertianemt world. MJ was and always will be an amazing singer, dancer, and all around entertainer.
But we have also forgotten the loss of Ed McMahon earlier this week. Star Search was the original AI

Ohh of course.
"Heeeeeeeeeere's Johnny!"
this week sucked. I'm watching Farrah's documentary of her sickness now. It is the sadest thing. She is the strongest woman imaginable. I just wish she was able to concur it.
Did anyone else here that MJ might have done this to himself with a prescription drug addiction? Sooo sad.
