(Hogsmeade) A Kiss Can Say a Thousand Words

[Lidia Cullen]

Lidia had just woken up and seen that it was a fairly nice day. She had just gotten this new sun dress and decided that it was time to wear it. While strolling through Hogsmeade she had received many compliments.

However, there was only one compliment that she wanted to hear. That one special one just from Adam.

Lidia had managed to buy quite a few of her favorite treats when she had went to Honeydukes. Now, all she had to do was wait for Adam to just show up out of the blue, like he always did.

Adam strolled through the streets of Hogsmeade, grey eyes twinkling, and a smile on his face. He'd been on cloud-freaking-nine ever since Lidia had accepted his proposal. Not paying attention to where he was going, he walked right into someone. "Oh excuse me!" he apologized, then saw who it was, "Lidia!" he said happily. He smiled at gave her a hug, "Good to see you, love."

Lidia had been watching her feet, occasionally looking up. She suddenly felt a pain in her side and realized someone had bumped into her. "Oh. I'm so...." She stopped looking at Adam. His arm suddenly came around her. Lidia relaxed into his arms. "Hello, cutie." She said, with a kiss on his cheek.

Adam blushed when Lidia called him cutie. "And hello to you too beautiful. What have you been up to lately?"

Lidia gave him her best smile for calling her beautiful. "Well, walking around and I did make a stop at Honeydukes." She said as she started to walk again. "What have you been up to? Not getting into trouble have you?" Lidia asked, with a twinkle in her eye.

Adam placed a hand over his chest and gasped in mock surprise, "Me? In trouble? Why Lidia, wherever would you get an idea like that?" he cried with fake anguish.

Lidia laughed and grabbed his hand. "Come on." She said, with a smile on her lips that only he could put there. "Sometimes I don't know about you. Did you know that?" She said, looking at his ring finger. Lidia had been wondering what type of ring to get him.

Adam laughed. "You know I never get in trouble!" He looked down and noticed that she was staring at his hand, "What are you thinking about?" he asked as they walked down the street together.

Lidia smiled up at him. "I was just thinking about the ring that I wish to get for you. At the moment you see, I can't think of anything that would look good on you." She said, turning her own ring around her finger.

Adam smiled, "Lidia, anything you get me is going to be perfect. Just like you." he said, lightly tapping the tip of her nose with his finger.

Lidia smiled up at him and stopped to kiss him gently on his cheek. "Sometimes you're so cheesy it's wonderful." She had been thinking of their wedding for sometime now. "What do you think about getting married very soon?" Lidia asked.

Adam smiled and rolled his eyes. "I'm not cheesy!" he said. He smiled at her question, "The sooner, the better my love." he replied giving her a light kiss.

"I'm glad that you think that because I want it to be sooner." Lidia said, smiling up at him. Adam was definitely her knight in shining armor. As well as her Prince Charming.

Adam smiled, "Do you have a particular time of the year in mind?"

[Lidia Cullen]

"Maybe over the summer." Lidia replied. It was the perfect time. They could go anywhere and have it. Plus, they wouldn't have to worry about his schooling. Oh wait, yes they did. "What about your education. I honestly think that we should wait till after you graduate. What do you think about that?" She asked, looking into store windows as she walked by them.
