Perhaps his own boredom and personal disappointment wasn't the only reason for him choosing a spot a good deal away from everyone else and the suit of armor, but also for reasons of safety. Because he wouldn't put it behind someone to mess up a simple charm, or accidentally try to blow up the armor or set it on fire. It was hard enough for him to think of something that wouldn't damage the armor, considering it didn't have flesh and that ruled out a good portion of his works.
But his brows raised in surprise as, not too long after he took up his cozy spot, he was scolded for it as if he were trying to exile himself from the class as higher than them. Bray wouldn't admit to being the best at charms, considering that transfiguration was obviously his thing and he just smirked in response. He wasn't going to move, not just yet when he heard the sound of someone attempting to walk that must be Wills. And whenever she thundered into a room, she always seemed to bowl him over first. Yes, this spot was much more preferable.
As soon as Willa started her spell with an 'a' sound, his eyebrows shot up towards his hairline and his eyes widened. She seriously didn't plan to use that spell on a suit of armor, did she? As the scene unfolded into chaos, he couldn't help but chuckle when it was all over. He'd called it, if only he had made a bet on it. "You were right, Professor. This certainly is something I should take an interest in." He said, glancing towards Abbott to make sure she was still in one piece and wasn't surprised to find her with a proud look on her face. It was a good accio spell, after all, it did work.

Ellie turned to see Bray. Were they still fighting? Probably. She didn't want to be...perhaps they could just forget everything and start all over. However, something kept her from catching his attention. Ellie actually felt like slipping into a black hole. She was starting too when she heard his voice next to her. She didn't react, still debating on what to do. A minute must had passed. Ellie bit her lip, and turned toward Bray, opening her mouth to say something, anything that would spill out, but she was interrupted but the start of class. Ellie clamped her mouth shut and turned back toward the Professor, silently kicking herself for not saying anything.
Ellie was still mentally abusing herself when the class started. She watched, half heartily as Polaris performed yet another perfect spell. Did that girl do nothing wrong? Ellie sighed as Bray stepped up. Not bad, but then again, Ellie always said that he must be in Ravenclaw for some reason. Ellie watched him. She sighed. Sorry isn't a hard word to say. Why was she being so stubborn. But then again, why couldn't he say it? He was wrong. Why was he being so stubborn? Vicious circle of thought.
Ellie was snapped back to reality by a stupid move made by a Gryffindor. Ellie shook her head. Fix it! She knew that spell. Perhaps it was time to show this new Professor what she got. She smiled as she raised her hand. "Mind if I take a shot?" She said, beaming.
Ellie wasn't a stuck up teacher's pet, she just really liked Charms. She was a Hufflepuff after all, sweet, kind, caring; not a Ravenclaw, smart, over bearing...stubborn....
Ellie stepped up to the plate. Her wand out. She took and deep breath and formed the spell in her mind, watching it play out perfectly. She went over the movement in her head quickly and then raising her wand strongly said: "Reparo!!" The spell shot out from the tip of her wand, hitting the broken suit of armor. The armor righted itself and pieced back together. Ellie smiled as she saw the fulled armor together again. The smile turned to a smirk. "Oops!" she said, running over and picking up the long spear that the armor was holding. Gently she fitting it into the hand of the armor and went back to her place. "Good as new?" she said to the Professor, and charming smile on the her face.

Sarie sat wondering what spell to do. She could do a full body bind or was that to advanced. She learned it in her first year so she would go for it. She had been lost in though when she noticed. Her fellow Gryffindor brake the armor. Then the teacher didn't take points. A Hufflepuff fixed it for her spell. "Professor, may I go after Ellie?" She asked. She couldn't wait for her turn.
