"Did I offend you. I didn't mean to. Well I guess I'll leave then I'm if not welcome just say so or think so any way I know what you think, and I'm sorry." She left deep in thought she really didn't want to leave Bailey alone with the ministry running around. She began to understand why every time she ended up in the forest who ever she met wanted to get her out. So Sarie sat at the edge of the clearing to keep an eye on her if any one did show up.

Hikaru wondered through the forest looking around him in awe. It really was as huge as people said it was. Walking around he soon came up on two young girls, and an emaciated looking creature with large tattered leathery wings, and huge blank white eyes. It was a thestral. It seemed that the thestral, while fond of the younger girl, seemed to be trying to run the older one off. "Hello there." Hikaru said, his Japanese accent clearly noticeable. He turned to the older girl, "I'm afraid you may have accidentally insulted him." he said gently. Turning to the thestral he stretched out his hand to ask permission to pet him. "May I? he asked.

She smiled at the new arrival. He wasn't from the ministry she could tell. "I could tell are you a new teacher?" She stood there watching the scene and she realized she liked it even this way.

Hikaru smiled at the young girl. "Yes, I am the new Occlumency teacher. Or at least I will be if I get the job." He extended a hand towards her. "I am Hikaru. Hikaru Tanaka, from Tokyo, Japan."

"Nice to meet you, I hope you get the job." She took his hand that he held out. "So you never been here before?" That worried Sarie a little. She knew he could use more magic then she could but if he didn't know what lived in a place like this she have make sure he got out alive.

Hikaru smiled, "I've lived here since I was seventeen. I used to be a chaser for the Chudley Cannons in fact, but no I have never been to the Forbidden Forest. Is it really as dangerous as I've been told?"

"It can be if you don't know whats going on. It's not bad when you know what places to avoid." She sighed and leaned against the tree.

Polaris grew bored and restless within the confines of the castle. The time was now 2 am and the moon shone brightly through the windows. Sighing before standing from her slouched position in her bunk, Polaris took her leave and strode swiftly through the Ravenclaw commonroom door and throughout the corridors almost silently.
Upon reaching the lawns of Hogwarts, she quickly shifted into her animagus form, a large timber wolf. Momentum fueled her brisk and soundless steps, taking her to the edge of the Forbidden Forest. A smirk played upon her wolven features as her golden eyes shimmered in the moonlight as she darted into the forest, weaving between the many large trees, making sure to stay in the shadows.
Polaris lifted her nose and sniffed, catching a familiar scent among many unfamiliar ones. This didn't deter her though, she simply continued on mutely, her precise steps placed to avoid and dried leaves, twigs or any other foresty traps. Twitching her ears slightly in each direction, Polaris picked heard the chatter of multiple voices masked with the scent of rotting flesh. Must be a thestral...
A good mile within the Forest there was a clearing with a few figures, along with an almost horse-like one. Sarie.. She had obviously caught her scent, seeing as she was a good friend of hers. Padding around for a moment to scope out her surroundings, Polaris jumped upon a raised tree stump to a boulder, climbing higher with each jump. Finally, she made one last jump to a thick tree branch hanging over the clearing and above the students and Thestral below.
Laying down silently, Polaris rested her head on the branch, letting her head to hang over the side just slightly so that her golden orbs may observe everything that happened from here on. Luckily for her, luck was on her side tonight seeing as her whole form was consumed within the shadows, save for the occasional glint off of her fangs and eyes.(( Sorry for the long post, I just thought it would be fun to join in! ))

[teal]The Thestral eyed the man warily, before shoving his nose into his palm and snorting briefly. Suddenly his eyes widened and his nostrils flared and he backed up quite a few steps. He once again reared up upon his hind legs, this time opening his wings and lifting himself into the sky. He pinned back his ears, lifting himself until he was eye to eye with this wolf. He struck the branch with his fore hooves, shaking it quite a lot, whilst snorting angrily at the other creature.[/teal]

Polaris mentally scolded herself. They have wings for a reason, I suppose. Forgot the buggers could fly... so much for being inconspicuious... The branche she was on was being shaken quite violently, causing her to whimper and jump off.. landing directly on the back of the Thestral. Not.. good.. the thing already hates me! Polaris tried her best not to harm the beast by attempting to wrap her forearms around him, scrambling to get a solid grip. Her tail was well, wrapped loosly around the Thestrals neck, the soft, fine hairs tickling it's nose.

[teal]He shrieked as the wolf landed upon his back, shaking his emaciated frame. Despite his frail appearance he was quite strong. He allowed himself to land, but before he did he closed his teeth around the wolf's tail and tugged him off of himself.[/teal]

Polaris yelped as she was flung from the Thestrals back and landed in a pile of leaves not too far from the beast. Whimpering before hopping to her feet, she barked a few times, almost playfully and ran forward to the Thestral. Rearing up on her hind legs infront of it, she poked at his nose with her own and gave him a lick. After that initial contact, she then pranced around it in a circle a few times, hopping up and down. Settling back infront of the beast, she lowered her front half, paws outstretched in a submissive playful form while she tilted her head to the side, peering at him with golden orbs.

[teal]He watched the wolf prance about playfully. He felt it's nose and tongue between his nostrils and he snorted throwing his head up abruptly. He lifted a fore hoof and pawed the earth, growling in an eerie tone. As it lay in a submissive form before him he reared up coming down at it with his front feet...[/teal]

Polaris quickly darted forward underneath the Thestral as it reared forward, missing it's sharp hooves. Shifting out of her wolven form, she slipped a hand in her pocket to pull out miscellanious bread chunks along with a few crackers and an apple. "Made out quite well in the kitchen.." She remarked, quite proud of herself.
Offering out the food to the Thestral, Polaris smiled warmly, letting him know that she wasn't there to hurt him. "You're fun to play with, though easily spooked. I simply wanted to watch over Sarie.. but here. You look like you're hungry.."

[teal]He jumped back in surprise as she transformed herself into a human. Had he been human his jaw would be on the ground. He arched his neck, extending his nose to her outstretched hands. He grasped the apple in his blood stained incissors and chewed on it briefly. He opened his mouth and let it drop out, spitting the remainder out. He snorted and pawed at the ground, suddenly his ears swiveled and he lifted himself into the air. An in-human shriek reached your ears and suddenly the creature reappeared with some sort of furry creature hanging from his lips. Blood running down it's coat and around his mouth. He lowered his body to the ground and began tearing it to bits. When finished he picked up the bones and shoved them at the Ravenclaw, tossing his head. His lips parted as a small hiss escaped his lips, blood leaking.[/teal]
