Felicity shrugged lightly after a moment. "Maybe because we're the next generation. And they want to mold us to their wimbs." She sat back down, tired of just standing and looking out at the forest. Fay leaned back on her hands and stretched her legs out in front of her.
"Well, your father is a very wise person then." Fay murmured softly. "And very right. The ministry always does something for a purpose. But, taking down the paintings doesn't help them really, not that I can see at least." She tilted her head up to the sky. "But the teaching positions do make sense. They can keep an eye on Hogwarts then without having to actually barge into the place."

Jac smiled at Felicity when she spoke of her Father. Jac had always thought him to be like a well you could draw information from at any time and it was always helpful information and just what you needed to hear. He was an excellent man that way, an excellent father and all the Biggerstall children would agree. Jac buried her hands in the pockets on her torn jeans as she thought on her father and home and her sisters and brothers.
Suddenly a scream echoed up to where the three girls were standing. Jac's first instinct, she whipped her wand out and looked around for the source of the shrieking. It came again and Jac ran down the hill towards a figure on the ground. There was a creature on top of her and Jac took aim but didn't fire as the creature kept moving. A short burst of air escaped her mouth in a sigh before she sprinted over to wretch the creature off by hand but when she got there it had left of its own accord.
Sighing, Jac slowed to a walk and approached the mumbling girl. Standing over her as she fumbled on the ground, Jac simply waved her wand and accioed everything into her arms. "There you are," Jac said kindly, holding the pile for the girl to take. "That makes life easier, doesn't it?" Jac tilted her head to one side and smiled at the girl. "You alright?" she asked, "I saw that nasty thing attack you. You hurt or anything?"

Antoinette sat back on her knees, smiling up at the girl. "Thanks. And no, he didn't. Little guy just gave me a good scare." She shook her head as she placed her things back in her bag, getting to her feet. "I feel like such a fool. Honestly, there I was, scrambling about the ground like a bleeding muggle...." She laughed, her voice a cascading chime in the spring air. "I guess they never breed the muggle-born-ness all the way out of you. No matter how many spells I learn, in a pinch, I'll forget it all."
Finished putting her things away, she glanced around, a little surrepstiously. "Is there anyone else around? I can't really believe I screamed. He wasn't even very large! But the shock...." She shrugged, a little smile tugging at her lips. "I hope no one else heard, and thinks I'm in trouble. Thanks for coming to my aid, by the way." She nodded to the wand in the other girl's hand.
Antoinette gestured at the cloudless day above them. "Its such a beautiful day outside, and I thought, what a simply gorgeous day for a bit of sketching, no?" She pointed to the sketchbook she still held in her hand. The thing was rather big, with a collage of people, faces, flowers, places, buildings, and other random elements arranged artfully across the front. In the center, the words: "The Problem of Leisure, what to do, for Pleasure."
Pulling her wnd out of her pocket, Antoinette began siphoning the dirt off of the front of her Sun Dress, pulling leaves and grass off the rosy fabric along with what seemed to be about half the contents of a sandbox.

Jac stood up with the blond and put her wand away. Brushing the dirt from her knees, Jac grinned at the girl. "Don't worry about it, mate," Jac said, straightening. "Happens to even the purest of blooming wizards on even the best of days so don't worry so much about is." Jac smiled at the girl as she continued to ramble on and even once, Jac let her laugh escape her lips. It was good to see that she wasn't the only one who could ramble when given half a chance.
Turning around to check on Felicity and Andie, Jac still listened to the girls words. "He looked plenty big to me," Jac said, turning back to her. "And 's far as I can tell it's none but us around." Jac had always wished she had the talent for drawing or an instrument of something lovely like that but she wasn't. She figured it was only fair that she didn't have those talents as she was a metomorphmagus. Only fair. Tilting her head to one said, she smiled, burying her hands in her pockets.
"Haven't spoken to you before," Jac admitted, looking up the hill again to the school. "Name's Jac. Jac Biggerstall." She was going to ask for the girls name but knew she didn't have to. Suddenly, Jac made her hair blond and wavy. "I like ya hair," Jac said with a little giggle. She knew that blond was the next best colour on her and she wanted to see what would the girl's reaction would be to having her hair change colour from its bright autumn colours.
