Felicity draped her cloak over her arm and walked out of the school. She seemed to be walking unseeingly, until she finally chose a spot on top of one of the hill's that overlooked the lake. Fay let her hood drop and her hair came billowing out. The breeze caught it and blew it sideways, away from her face.
The sun was just setting, and Fay leaned forward and hugged her knees to her chest. Her mood had been mostly passive the whole day, but none of her friends seemed to notice her change in mood. That may be because all of them were worrying about essays and such.
Fay reached into a pocket and drew out a picture. It was crinkled because of the many times she had looked at it. It showed little Fay, about five, clutching her father's hand and beaming and laughing at the camera. She looked so much like her father. The black, curly hair, his dark blue eyes. She was the perfect picture of him.
Felicity focused on her father's face. His smile as he looked down at his daughter. How he laughed when tiny Fay tugged out her bows. She shut her eyes and clutched the picture, willing herself not to cry. How long had it been? Eight years had gone by, at least.

Hikaru walked around the lawns with a smile on his face. This place was so different from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, yet like all places was uniquely beautiful in it's own way. Looking around the lawns, Hikaru spotted a girl, who looked a bit unhappy. "Hello there." he said quietly, "Are you allright?"

Felicity was surprised by the voice, and she looked up. Some man seemed to be standing next to her, and she blinked up at him. Now who was this man? Fay scooted a bit away from him, not liking the closeness. "Yea, just remembering something." Her eyes tightened and she looked away.
It had been almost eight years since her father's death, and she still had nightmares about the day. An involuntary shiver ran down her spine and she rested her chin back on her knees. Maybe the man would go away if she didn't speak anymore.
None of Fay's friends knew what was wrong with her. They all knew that her dad was gone, but the exact details of his death were a mystery to them. Felicity didn't want everyone to know, because that might change their thoughts on her. She didn't want that, not at all.

Hikaru smiled and sat down beside the girl. "Would you like to talk about it?" he asked gently, Japanese accent clearly noticeable. "Oh, allow me to introduce myself. I am Hikaru Tanaka, from Tokyo, Japan. I've applied for the position of Occlumency teacher here at Hogwarts."

Felicity tensed as he sat down next to her. Guess he wasn't going to leave then. She glanced at him for a moment, then looked back out at the lake. "Not unless you wanna have nightmares."
So this guy was trying to be a new teacher? Huh, they were getting new teachers left and right. Weird. Felicity noted his accent and well, his obvious Asian look. It was clear that he wasn't originally from here. "I'm Felicity Locke. Fifth year Ravenclaw. Nice to meet you Mr. Tanaka."

A small smiled played around Hikaru's lips as he noticed the girl, Felicity she was called, stiffen a bit as he sat down. "Nice to meet you Ms. Locke, I would like to talk more, but it seems as though you would rather be left alone. So, I shall leave you be Ms. Locke." With that Hikaru stood and turned to walk away.
