Ash gave a small smile at Bray's words. "You really think so?" he asked, then he frowned as Bray denied hiding anything and started to walk away. "Bradyn Marshall Reed, get back over here!" he called, he stalked up to Bray and grabbed his arm forcing him to turn around. He looked into Bray's eyes, his own dark and intense. "You are hiding something. And I'm not letting you leave until you tell us what it is." his gaze softened, "Why are you hiding from us? Why are any of us hiding from eachother? I thought we promised eachother that we could tell eachother anything? Are you saying that that promise flew out the window?"

Felicity felt a knot form in her stomach. Her face grew paler than before, and she slowly clenched her hand into a fist. "You really don't care do you? Fine then. Just walk away Bradyn Reed. I hope you've accomplished whatever you wanted."
Fay didn't respond as Ash ran after Bray. Her own gaze had dropped to her feet. She shook her head slowly, then looked back up at the two. "I don't care what he has to say. Whatever it is doesn't matter."

Ash sighed and rubbed his forehead with his hand. "Would the both of you just stop being so damn stubborn and talk it out? Please? It is not that hard for crying out loud." he said wearily. He looked each of them straight in the eyes, "No one is going anywhere until we figure out what's going on between us!"

Bradyn heard the thump behind him, but didn't see what it was. It hurt him to see Fay this upset, and by the zone of her voice he could tell she was on the verge of crying. When he felt an arm latch onto his, he was surprised to see that it was attached to Ashton. "You guys wouldn't understand.. and if you did, you'd make fun of me." He muttered quietly enough so that only Ash would possibly hear him.
His head hung a little lower at Fay's cruelty of sending him away, when he was just thinking -- or being forced -- that he would stay. "See? She doesn't want me around.." But it was obvious that Ash wouldn't be convinced of anything else and he sighed again. He could always make something up, since he would never, ever, tell the truth to Fay. Bray just couldn't do it, nor would he ever be able to.

Ash's eyes narrowed in concern. "Bray, you're one of my best friends. I would never make fun of you, you know that! Now would you please just tell me what's wrong?" he asked softly.

Felicity slumped against the tree and glanced out toward the lake. "To each their own I suppose Ash." She muttered, glancing back at the boy. Wasn't just him who said speaking his mind was too hard? Guess the tables turned.
"I want my friend back, that's what I want. Not this passive, insensitive kid. I barely know you anymore." Fay slid down until she was sitting, her back resting against the tree. She pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them.
"The term is almost over, and I don't want to leave us on a bad note."

Ash sighed as he sat down beside Fay, "Fay, none of us wants to leave on a bad note, but who has the power to do that besides us? We're the only ones who can figure this out. We can do this, all we need is eachother. Whatever it is we're all going through, we will get through it. Together." he said softly, wrapping his arm around her. He gave both of them a small smile, "Hey, know what we need? To go flying, no practice, just some good old-fahioned flying. Get rid of some of this tension."

Bradyn huffed a bit at Ash. "I'd make fun of myself, but on my side it just makes me feel like crap." He mumbled, again so that only he could hear, and then walked back over by the tree and sat down a ways down from Fay. Pulling his knees up, he rested his arms on them and stared dreamily towards the lake.
"Passive and incsnsitive, huh?" He mumbled, a little hurt but still not showing it. "Whatever did I do to get such cruel descriptions said about me?" Bray still didn't really look at them so that his eyes wouldn't betray the hurt he felt. He wanted to tell them, he did, he did. But that seemed more life threatening than keeping it a secret, especially since he still didn't have all the details.
"Yeah, the term's coming to an end." Turning back to them, he smiled rather faintly. "I don't have a problem with either of you. I don't know what you're going on about." Then he grinned rather cheekily and chuckled quietly. "Flying would be great. It's much more fun when people aren't whipping quaffles at you."

Ash flashed a grin, "Well then what're you two sitting here for? Get up!" standing up, he reached down and pulled Fay to her feet. Then he walked over to Bray and did the same. "Let's go! And I'm not accepting 'no' for an answer!"

"When you started to be a git." Felicity muttered, glancing over at Bray. Maybe she was being too mean. Probably was, everything had just exploded inside of her. And, as it seemed, Bray and Ash had been caught at the wrong end of it.
Fay gave a heavy sighed and pressed her fingers gently to her forehead. "I'm sorry for snapping. I've been beastly haven't I?" She gave the boys a small grin. "Forgive me?"
At the thought of flying, a large grin spread across her face. "Sounds fantastic. Actually get to fly with people who like the broom." She stuck her tongue out at the lake and rolled her eyes. Stupid Scott and his broom hatingness.
"That's what you get for being a keeper Bray. That's why I'm a beater." She smirked and laughed. "Means I get to whip things at other people."
Felicity squeaked as Ash tugged her to her feet. "Give a girl a warning Ash!"

Ash grinned brightly, "Well come on!" he said eagerly, "Last one to the Quidditch Pitch is a flobberworm!" he cried as he took off at a run towards said quidditch pitch.

Bradyn shook his head a bit at Ashton. It was quite obvious that he wasn't going to be able to sneak away this time, but it also seemed that they weren't going to try to pry any information out of him. Perhaps they knew that all they were going to get were lies?
Sighing, Bray leaned back against the tree, only to be dragged up. "Ow, my arm." He grumbled but brushed himself off without further complaint. Casting one last glance at Fay, he walked over to her side. Keeping an eye on the fleeing Ash, he quickly whispered "I guess I owe you some explanation.. later tonight, sneak out and meet me at the astronomy tower. Owen shouldn't turn us in if she understands it's an emergency, and if she does, we might get detention with my sister." Then he started to walk towards the pit, since there was no way he was going to run like some five-year-old loon.
[ First one to the pit starts the thread, Kris! ]

Felicity sighed as Ash ran off toward the field. Ug. Running. Again. She shoved her hands in her pockets and trudged after the all too happy little seeker boy.
Fay slid her gaze over to Bray for a moment. Her eyes widened slightly, but she just nodded mutely in response. To cover up for the moment of silence, she started to strip off her shoes. Boots didn't really work for running. "Ash get back here! Stop running like a maniac!"
She slid off her other boot and took off after Ash, trying to stop her psychotic friend from tripping and killing himself or something. Which would most likely happen to her.

Ash laughed as Fay yelled at him to stop running. Coming to an abrupt, sudden stop he turned around. "Now why would I stop running?" he asked with a smirk.
