"What does it look like I'm doing?" He quipped back as he found it a little difficult getting her up when she had wedged her feet underneath her. With one final tug he managed to pull her up, though he had to act quickly as Alex did his famous, lose-your-footing-and-stumble-he-goes trick. Luckily, he didnt find himself on the floor for the second time that morning.
"Since you woke me up," Alex spoke again, "You dont have a choice in the matter." He let her go and spun her round so she was facing him. "Im sure you'll be fine company, besides, Hogsmeade is always more entertaining with someone for company, and you drew the short straw, so lets get a move on"
He laughed at her comment about getting sick of her, "I highly doubt that somehow." He grinned as he began to make his way out of the doors as a small Ravenclaw first year looked at him, Alex just raised his eyebrow at the kid and turned to face Amara.
"Well, you coming or staying?"
((ech... it sucks im sorry ))

((not at all )) Though Amara fought against him, Alex was stronger then she was and he soon pulled her out of her seat. She leaned on him, trying to make sure that when he pushed her away she would be able to stand on her own. But he didn't push her away. Instead he turned her around so she would look at him. The gesture made her smile widely. She wasn't used to being wanted, or chosen for company. Amara Fern Conway was the annoying eccentric brat that everyone avoided and this was a pleasant change. Suddenly, Amara became quiet and didn't have anything to say one Alex had stopped talking. This truly was a gratifying experience for her and it had left her without words. This didn't happen often but when it did there was no saying how long it would last or how active her brain would be for the following few hours. She could be a complete vegetable for anything from two minutes to two days. There was simply no saying with this Claw. All Amara could do was smile at Alex. But when he began to walk Amara's face fell. Had that been his plan? To work her up and then leave her? It seemed to be the Ravenclaw way whenever Amara was in the equation. Alex stopped and her temporary vegetation ceased. She smiled again and quickly set her feet into motion. "I wouldn't let you get rid of me that easily," she chirped. "Coming!"
