By the time Jay returned to the common room that night, he found it deserted, which for Jay was a plus that would just mean none of them stupid girls sitting in a corner staring at him, then giggling like idiots whenever Jay looked their way. It annoyed him more than he could possibly explain, those were the sort of girls Jay did not like and never would. They needed a good hex or seven, he was sure if he hexed them they wouldnt goggle at him then would they? Though he pushed these thoughts aside as he threw down his robe by the fire, his shirt wasnt tucked in his pants like it should have been, then again it never was, the top two buttons were undone and his tie was hanging limply around his chest area.
He took a glance around, the place seemed deserted enough for him to be able to relax for a while before going off to bed. After classes, he had gone down to the lake to relax away from idiots, but found himself facing even stupider Gryffindorks. The day had jus not gone Jay's way at all, and when that happened, you could guarentee he would not be in a good mood. Not that you would know any difference anyway, he never did show any emotion, though that was just the way Jay was. Take it or leave it, either way he didnt care.
He heard a noise from behind him and glanced around, to his dismay it was one of those stupid girls that sits in the corner and giggles at him when he looks their way. Though tonight she was on her own and she just looked at him, no giggle, which made Jay smirk. "What?" He said smoothly, "You can only giggle when your gang's around?" Jay had never uttered more than two words to these girls, so a full sentance would have been like a bar of gold to her as she flushed bright red and stuttered something before running off upstairs. "Idiot" he mumbled under his breath and turned to look back at the fire.
His mother had written to him that morning, though Jay had not yet even started to think up a reply. Well not that there was much to tell her really, he had spent most of the week cleaning out the potions store cupboard for Vance due to his endless detentions and they weren't due to end until next week either. Not to mention the never-ending amount of homework, it was exhausting. Not that he really needed to bother, his father would set him up with a good job anyway so it wasnt much of a big deal for Jay. Jay was probably one of the most arrogant people you could come across, to him, people like filth were beneath him, animals. Like he cared about them. Hearing a noise behind him, he figured it must be that girl again though he didnt bother to turn around and look.
"Decided you want to giggle afterall?" He said icily.
