Carolanne sighed and continued to hold her brother. She didn't exactly know what to do to make him feel better except answer his questions and be there for him. "Sunni? I thought he was nice. He seemed to like you too," she said adding a wink. "Eh, I guess I'm trying to say that for a Slytherin, he's not bad."

Ash grinned and squeezed Laney even tighter, no doubt practically crushing her lungs in the process! "Yeah, he's pretty cool for a Slytherin. But, I do have Slytherin friends so, I guess it wasn't that unusual to meet a Slytherin that isn't a complete jerk."

Laney pretened to gasp for air before she started laughing, "Ow," she said hoping Ash would release her a little. "Sometime's I wonder how people get sorted into Slytherin when they're like Sunni. He's a really nice guy, Ash. Why did you ask what I thought about him?" she questioned.

Ash laughed and finally let go. "Yeah, he is. The Gravestone sisters, and Maeve Malfoy are really nice and they're Slytherins. Have you ever met them? Well, actually, Aly Gravestone, she's the oldest, does have a bit of a temper, but then again, so do I sometimes!" He chuckled nervously when she asked about Sunni, "No reason really. Why?" he replied while looking anywhere except at Laney, and biting his nails, a sure sign that he wasn't exactly telling the truth.

Carolanne sighed in releif, it was hard to answer when you were being crushed. Lane shook her head, "Can't say I've met them before. Heard of them, yes, but never met," she explained.
Ash was biting his nails but she wouldn't call him on it. She'd rather not get a glimpse inside his head at the moment. Maxi was in there somewhere just like he was in hers. Carolanne Shrugged, "No reason. Just thought I'd ask. Figured there was some reason you asked me, was all."

Laney gave a short laugh and nodded. She figured it was so. He wasn't exactly her type, but what was her type these days? Laney stared down at her hands, "I'm sorry for what I said before. It wasn't my place," she muttered.

Ash smiled and pulled his sister into another hug, "It's okay, we all say stupid stuff when we're hungover." He groaned, "Ugh, speaking of hangovers, I still have a headache!"

"Yeah, it must've been that," she said laying through her teeth. She knew darn well why she had brought Maxi into the conversation in the first place, she just wasn't about to tell Ashton that. Laney smiled, "You have a headache? Bubba, I'm still drunk!" she said laughing.

Ash laughed then groaned as a sharp pain stabbed through his head. "Oww." he whimpered clutching his head, "Great, now I'm getting a migraine. Just effing wonderful!" Since he had been about twelve, Ash had been prone to sudden migraines, and of course it just had to be now, when he was already hungover, that one decided to pounce!

Carolanne didn't know what happened right away. First, Ashton was laughing, the next he was clutching his head in pain. She blinked as a blank expression formed on her face. "Er... Ash?" she said. It wasn't until he had said the word Migrane did her eyes widen. She forgot what to do. She was still practicall drunk and her judgement was rather impaired. "Uh! Breathe?" she said rather worried forming it as a question then a command.

Ash looked up and glared at his sister. "I am breathing Laney. If I wasn't, I'd be dead." He rollled his eyes, "A headache will not kill me. Even though it feels like it will."

Carolanne laughed and ran a hand through her hair, "Ha, you're right," she said feeling a little stupid. "Well, do whatever it is the docs told you to do then. I can't remember...." she said furrowing her brows. "Well, don't die on me yet, Ash!" she said with a laugh. Ash was her best friend after all.

Ash laughed wearily, "Les docteurs m'ont dit de dormir. Qui est exactement que je vais faire. Traversez maintenant ici!" He pulled Laney over to him, and used her shoulder as a pillow once more. Laying is head on her shoulder, he was soon fast asleep.
(("The doctors told me to sleep. Which is exactly what I'm going to do. Now get over here!"))
