Clasping her hands together, Erys nodded her agreement, her lips parting in a full smile. "That sounds delicious." She nearly purred, her eyes flashing an excited purple for a moment. Parting her lips to offer another suggestion, she clamped her mouth shut, fangs rattling against one another as the Slytherin queen looked over into the eyes of Angelique Juliette. If they hadn't done this, her jaw would have hung open quite unattractively, and that simply wouldn't do. Feeling her stomach roll slightly, she pressed her palm against it, making it seem like she was only temporarily chilly. Finally beckoning her over with a sharp fingernail, the Slytherin gave her one of those 'you'll be explaining yourself after I introduce myself to the new chick' looks, turning her calm yet somewhat welcoming expression upon the newcomer. "I see you've heard about me." Erys replied in a voice that could only be friendly to a Slytherin, "Welcome to Slytherin." Flicking her eyes over Ashlee, she nodded while 'huh'ing, figuring her to be around fifth or sixth year. Not too bad looking, either. Might make a welcome addition to her 'court', as Angel called it.
"Have a seat. Angel here is just about to tell me why she took off a long time ago without a word of communication." The friendliness in her voice had grown stale, and now Erys Grace was back to her regular self, coldly curious as to why one of her best friends was back, to claw her way up to that old rank again. "So what happened, love?" The animagus asked, offering a small smile that could only partially be called fake. She was, after all, glad to see Angel back. "I haven't seen you in so long."

Ashlee nodded and took a seat. Looking at the one called Angel, she crossed her arms and leaned back against the couch.

Angel should have known she wouldn't be accepted back into the fold so easily. Not if it was in Erys graces she had to get back into. The look her friend gave her made her instantly realize that much, but Angel would never expect anything less from her cunning friend. As she stepped forward she noticed that a new girl appeared one she didn't recognize. Angel wasn't the friendliest of people so she simply gave a head nod. As Erys so graciously put her on the spot. Stating that Angel would be revealing her long absence to her and whoever else was in the room.
This was a discussion she had really wanted to have in private with Erys but apparently that wasn't to be. So she sighed and walked over to the couch where the other two girls were seated. She wasn't sure why she thought it might be easy. "Well I do apologize for not getting in touch with you Erys believe me it wasn't done on purpose." Her parents had been dogging her steps when they were not at work. Those spare moments alone well she used them to drink away her worries. "Anyway, I hadn't actually intended to come back this year. I'm not much for the school thing, never really have been, you know how I detest most of the other students here. Well I thought that perhaps I could just leave not finish out this year, start working make a life on my own. My parents seemed to be going along with it for a while, a foolish assumption on my part. They were just waiting me out and when I didn't appear to crack they pushed and pushed hard. So long story short here I am back at lovely old Hogwarts." She finished the story and her voice sounded flat. She still wanted to walk out of there and never look back but that wasn't an option. All she could try to do was make the best of things. "So am I forgiven yet or shall I have to grovel some more oh queen of the Slytherins"

Listening patiently to her friend's story, Erys nodded at some parts, hm'ing and haw'ing at various stages of her tale. It didn't sound like she wanted to come back, made obvious by her earlier statements. Ah, well. At least she had a viable excuse, or rather reason, as to why. This place was crawling with mudbloods and the filth of other houses. Erys couldn't blame her. When it came to her last bit, the question, the Slytherin's lips cracked into a wide grin. "Dont worry about it. I'll leave the grovelling to the Hufflepuffs." Beckoning her over with a long-fingernailed palm, she paused, "Next time, dont forget to send word." There was a haunting look of seriousness in her eyes that seemed to say she wouldn't be so accepting and welcoming, if it were to happen again. For now, though, Erys Grace was just glad to have one of her best friends and comrades back.
"I dont blame you, really. This place reeks of 'Claw filth." Erys groaned, waving her hand as if to emphasize her point. "Believe me, thats not the only problem. There seems to be an overpopulation of animagi at this school." A hard look glistened in her eye when she said this, "But I'll deal with that later." And there was a firm promise in her voice. "We should celebrate this occasion! Anyone have anything in mind?"

She hadn't been expecting such leniency from Erys, but she was glad just the same, her outfit wasn't really made for groveling and she wasn't in the mood to have to do so in front of other people. When Erys told her not to worry about it, she grinned broadly one of the first real grins she had worn since setting foot back into the school.
"No how could anyone blame me?" she said with a smirk looking at her best friend. That she could say was the one and only thing she missed most. Now that she had it back, she would do all in her power not to jeopardize it. She was accepted back into the fold, which is more than she could have hoped for.
“Yes too much filth mucking up the place and those blasted Claws are the worst, some of them think they’re better than us it’s appalling.” She could sense her pressure rising and figured it would be a good idea to forget it and move onto another topic. Then some new she hadn’t expected, Erys told her the school was being overrun with animagi. That didn’t sit well with her not at all but it was conversation yet again for another day.
No not today, this was a day for celebration for she had returned. “Too bad there’s not drink here I could really go for some fire whiskey right about now. A party would be in order if we could just get the libations” she winked wondering if anyone felt daring.
