Everything changes, you've got to move with the times and keep up, but Darrow didn't excell at keeping up to date with the latest hgih tech equipment, the newest spells to dazzle and bewilder, no he was old fashioned, he'd seen too much change in his time to warrant moving along with every little thing. He knew his ways were reasonable his morals unshakeable, he believed he was right in what he was doing, or else he wouldn't be acting in such a way.
Standing tall small smile played across his lips as the wind picked up as he gazed fixatedly out of the stained glass window, his eyes never leaving the beautiful setting of the fiery red sun, it's last dying embers burning the clouds, until sinking to a low pink. The fluffy clouds in the evening sky drifted lazily along the horizon, picking up speed as the wind began driving them relentlessly onwards, never slacking or pausing for breath as the inexirable journey across the skies continued ever onwards.
Concentrating upon the wonders before him a frown dwrinkled his heavy brow but before deep thought about his current predicaments could overwhelm him he cast them aside, pushing away the doubts, he'd made up his mind, it was far too late to back down now.
Rubbing his brow he steepled his fingers before him in silent prayer, he prayed for those he loved dearly, praying that his students and teachers would remain safe within Hogwarts, but most particularly his thoughts focused upon those he lead elsewhere, those he couldn't actively help in such a way; just advise, it wasn't the right moment to let everything slip, soon perhaps but not yet. The wizarding world was in turmoil, wasn't it always and the wars between Ministry and Rogues continued unrelenting, and the Red Rose League was still active, in secret of course.
Things were coming to an almighty clash he could feel it in his bones, they may be old but they were by no means frail, his bright gaze danced as the sun finally set, darkness descending over the land. Smiling Darrow set off back down the winding staircase, enroute to his cosy office where only paperwork awaited him, perhaps he'd go have a natter with the house elves first?
