Clarissa raised a brow at him before bursting out laughing. "I don't think that's a good sign, Ashton. Being able to fit in girls pants is kind of a shot to your manhood, isn't it?" Sometimes she was too good at indirectly insulting people, it was actually rare for her to flat out say what she was thinking. As a veela, it was neccesary to sugar-coat everything, or even wrap it in lies and deceit. All of that for the purpose of having a better look.
Distrustful. It was a good word to describe the old social scene of Beauxbatons, with everyone taking themselves before others. Deceit. Drama. Oh, how she missed all of that. Hogwarts seems to lack in that field and it almost made her want to stir up some. 'But not yet, of course, it's better to let yourself be known first.' Instead she just smiled knowingly at Ash. "I'm not going to lie, sometimes it was neccesary to keep your head down there, so to speak." But Clarissa was always one to keep her head up, high and proud with her chin jutting out in superiority. It was very odd for her to move and not have the right to do that anymore, but then again, that made it all the more enjoyable that she had the right to it over Felicity.
She had to gasp a little as he dissed the robes and shook her head. "It may not have been your color, but I bloody loved those robes! Black and thick is, most certainly, not flattering on me." She would've proved this to him, but she wasn't wearing them currently. "I guess pale blue's better for blondes. And you have to admit, Beauxbatons has a lot of those."

Ash smirked, "Well, I like wearing my sisters jeans. I have my own skinny jeans of course, but I like hers better."
He nodded, "Yeah, black doesn't suit you. And why was it nessecary to sometimes keep your head down?"

Clarissa just shook her head a little in disbelief. "Darling, I'm not going to lie, but that's just a touch too weird." Girlie little man, very strange kids go to Hogwarts.
Laughing a little, she smiled. "I'm glad you agree," Thought it was weird that he'd say that, instead of something flattering like a normal boy would. Idiot, he was definitely someone she would've slapped back at Beauxbatons. "Oh, rumors, of course. Those things fly all over the place, though most of them are completely made up." Like the one about getting her tongue stuck to the flagpole because she thought it was a boy. Some people, really, they let their creativity run wild. [/blockquote]

Ash gave a short laugh, "You may think it's weird. But who cares? It's normal for me." Merlin, this girl is thick he thought to himself. Hadn't she figured out by now that he wasn't interested in girls? He wasn't making a stuttering fool of himself, he wasn't falling all over her, plus he was wearing skinny jeans, and hello? Makeup! Well eyeliner. But still, it was makeup. Not a very bright girl. She wouldn't last one day in Ravenclaw
