It was a sunny afternoon with a blue sky and few clouds. The birds were chirping and the sound of other students could be heard throughout the courtyard enjoying this beautiful day. Aleesha laid underneath a large oak tree, a pencil in her hand and a sketch book on the ground. There was also a small pile of school books sitting next to her and a few rolls of parchment. Aleesha loved to draw, ever if she wasn’t all that great at it. At least her drawings sort of resembled what she was trying to create. Aleesha stared at a small tree in the distance trying to capture the beauty she saw in it onto the paper. She looked down and examined what was already drawn and at the moment. It looked a little rough, but it was just a sketch anyway. Aleesha pushed the sketch book to the side and put down the pencil. Maybe I should take up photography instead, she though just looking at the scenery around her. Drawing wasn’t obviously getting anywhere.
Aleesha looked over at her pile of school books and debated whether or not to start that monster of a potions essay, which just happened to be her worst subject. But being the procrastinator that she was, Aleesha just shrugged it off. She’d get around to it before it was due.

Sarie walked into the Coutyard she didn't come here very often. She had just finished her potions essay. She wanted to get outside before the weather changed. She walked over to the benches and sat down. She had nothing to do but sit and watch the clouds go by.

Aleesha looked up into the clouds. They were always beautiful in Aleesha’s eyes, even when they were dark and stormy. (Although they were nice and white today.) Aleesha seemed to have a thing for nature she wasn’t in love with it like her father but rather fascinated by it. The way every plant absorbs the sun’s rays and converts it to sugar. But plants were kind of boring; they don’t talk, move, or do anything really. Unless, you happen to come across the fair few that have a mind of their own, Aleesha’s personally favorites.
She remembered the first time her father brought home a mandrake. Its ugly high pitched scream and wrinkly green body were frightening and disturbing but there was something about it’s freakishness that Aleesha loved. She couldn’t tell you what that is because it’s something she would probably never know.
Aleesha slowly came back to the reality of birds chirping and students chatting away. There was now a slight breeze, nothing to uncomfortable or anything, it actually felt quiet good. The breeze whisked across her face when suddenly the wind picked up her potions notes and blew them through the air. Aleesha quickly got up and tried chasing the papers, looking rather ridiculous as she did it when the papers flew over to the benches landing next to a young Gryffindor girl. Aleesha quickly ran over there before the wind picked the up again. She stopped at the end of the bench and picked up the papers and looked over at the young girl. “Sorry about that,” she said hoping this girl didn’t think she was some kind of freak, “Can’t lose my potions notes.” Aleesha put her hand up to her head feeling stupider than ever. Sometimes first impressions weren’t always her strong point.

"That's ok let me help." Sarie said to the girl was chasing her potions notes around the courtyard. "If you loose any you can copy mine." She smiled the girl had pick a good day to lose them if she lost any Sarie could most likely fill in any blanks. "I'm Sarie Thimble nice to meet you."

“Thank you,” Aleesha said with a smile while grabbing a few papers from the ground. “That’s very kind of you, but I’m sure mine might be different from yours. But I’m pretty sure I’ve got them all”, she said flipping through the papers quickly. “One, two, three, four, five, yup they’re all here. Thanks for your help Sarie, I’m Aleesha Lovegood, It’s nice to meet you to,” she said with a smile extending her hand out to greet Sarie.
“It’s such a nice day today,” Aleesha said with a smile, she really wished she could come up with something better but her mind was blank. “It’s not a good day for belladonna plants though,” Aleesha said shaking her head, “it’s much too sunny out for them.” ‘There I go again,’ Aleesha said to herself, ‘talking about things no one cares about.’

Sarie stared at Aleesha Lovegood. "What are belladonna plants i've never heard of them. Are related to devil snare?" She asked.

“Belladonnas are extremely toxic plants that grow in the swampier parts of England. They aren’t magical plants so they wouldn’t be related to the devil’s snare but they are used in a few different potions, I’m not sure which exactly but they are pretty fascinating plants. It’s one of the most toxic plants in the western hemisphere. I a child eats a few they will become poisoned but if an adult consumes one of the berries this plant produces it can be fatal. I’ve got a small bunch of them growing in my back yard at home; they are quite pretty to look at.” Aleesha wondered how her belladonna plants were doing on such a sunny day as today, hopefully they were shaded enough to not get harmed by the sun. Her father was pretty good about remember things like that.
