Olivia hugged her books to her chest and she moved swiftly up the stairs. Her last class for the day had just finished, and she was making her way to the commonroom to go put her books away. It was time for some much needed relaxation outside. Plus, she needed to finish that letter to her parents, before they combusted from waiting too long.
After her books were safely tucked away in her dorm, Liv made her way back down the stairs. It was only a few moments before a rush of cold air greeted her, and she was outside. A grin plastered itself on her face as she stepped further outside. The sun shone through the clouds, beaming down on the school.
Olivia sat down on one of the benches and pulled her parchment and quill. Time to finish that letter. Her curvy writing scrawled endlessly across the page, fitting in piece of information of her life at school and everything of the like. It didn't take her long to reach the end of the page, thus finishing the letter.
As the Puff went to put the parchment back away, a breeze caught the letter and tossed it up into the sky. Liv's eyes widened and she quickly jumped up from her spot.
"Come back!"
Olivia ran after the letter, trying every so often to jump up and snatch it. Students glanced at her with amused expressions as she ran. Oh dear this isn't good.

Karis had been talking a long walk all around the castle grounds. She had been walking around for hours and had even gone to the Owlery to feed her snowy Owl Asrath a special treat of a mouse. Yuk. Asrath had perched herself on Karis' shoulder and had decided to walk with her owner. Walking up into the courtyard, Karis began to fuss Asrath ans stroke her beak, and when she looked forward a piece of parchment blew into her face. Flustering and flapping her hands infront of her face, she realised it was just a piece of paper. Huffing in thanks, she peeled it off her face and looked around to see who it belonged to. "I guess this belongs to you" she said, stepping forward and handing the slightly crumpled parchment to a fellow hufflepuff.

It was proving difficult for her to catch her breath, so she had to stop after a moment. Olivia bent over and placed her hands on her knees. She tried to slow her breathing by taking large gulps of air, then releasing it slowly. It seemed to work, because after a few minutes, she stood back up.
Another Hufflepuff was holding out her letter to her, and Liv blinked at it. She took it, finally noticing the fact that it was slightly crumpled. That meant that it had probably ran into the other Puff. Olivia rolled up the parchment and grinned apologetically at the other.
"Sorry about that. Breeze caught me off guard and took my letter away."
Placing the letter back into her bag, she mentally scolded herself for not being more careful. Now that her little scare was over, Olivia looked more closely at the girl. She had an owl resting on her shoulders, and Liv began to grin again.
"Does your owl have a name?"

Sitting comfortable in a little ball at the end of the Courtyard, Nora looked over the field of grass, observing everyone. Her small figure was clothed in normal Slytherin robes, her tie loose at her neck and her shirt untucked. Her hair was up in a ponytail, her thick bangs covering half of her face. The breeze blew them softly. Nora was pleasantly smiling.
A stronger breeze blew up, causing Nora to loose sight in a mess of hair. She pulled them back and turned into the wind so they would blow back, but a piece of parchment hit her square in the face. Alarmed, Nora pushed the parchment away and turned to follow it. A Hufflepuff picked it up and gave it to another Hufflepuff. Nora got up, seeking company.
"Windy isn't it?" She said with a smirk, her hands on her low hips. She smiled at the girls so they would know she was one of those 'nice' Slytherins.

Karis turned to the new voice which belonged to a slytherin girl who she had just seen in the corner of the courtyard keeping to herself. She gave her a friendly smile, even if she was a bit cautious around her. She wasn't scared of Slytherins, but she was careful off giving them any of her personal information as they had a tendancy to dramatise things. She wasn't going to b rude, so she side stepped a little for her to join in the conversation. "Yeah, my hair is a complete mess now" she said, attempting to sort out the knots that the wind had created in it, with the occasional ouch, she fingered through her hair trying to straighten it out to look more presentable than it's current state.

"Yeah, it is." Nora said, the Slytherin in her getting out. Truthfully, Nora wasn't one of those horribly mean, blood blood blood, Slytherins. The sorting hat had really fought between Gryffindor and Slytherin. She guessed her mother's education at Durmstrang might have drawn the line for the hat.
Nora looked at the paper the girl was holding. It was a letter. Apparently, it had taken off and tried to get to its reader before the girl was done. "Who were you writing to?" she asked, being nosy.
She looked at the other girl, and her owl. Nora didn't like owls. She had a toad. It was the loved of her life. You better not make fun of it, she will curse you, twice.

Olivia was knocked slightly off balance by another gust of wind. Well, at least her hair blew out of her face this time. Righting herself again, Liv turned to see another person approaching. A slytherin girl? Interesting.
"Windy indeed."
She replied with a small smile. By the Slytherin girl's smile, Liv could only assume she wasn't as..nasty as the other ones were. Plus, more company was just more fun.
At the mention of her letter, Olivia flushed softly and pushed some of her hair out of her eyes. "To my parents. They like to be updated on things at school." She shrugged lightly and tugged on her jacket sleeve, a nervous habit of hers.
