Felicity flipped another page in her book, hardly aware that anyone else was near her. Whenever she read she was always oblivious to everything else around her. That was because she was drawn into the story, and reality had lost it's hold on her mind. The book she had now was one of the ones that Helen had lent her. It was a romance, because those were the only kind that Helen usually read.
Something fell onto the page she was reading, drawing Fay out of her little daydream. A raindrop? Oh dear. There was a clap of thunder overhead, and more drops fell from the sky. She cursed lightly under her breath and shoved the book into her bag. Helen would maul her if she ruined it.
The light drizzle had broken out into a downpour, soaking Felicity to the bone. She looked around, trying to find some source of cover. Fay settled for the slight overcast of the roof and dashed toward it. She tossed her bag, and it landed with a thunk underneath the building.
She was almost safe under the roof..until she slipped. With a small scream and a gasp she landed on her back end. Felicity frowned and tried to stand, but only succeeded in slipping again. All the while, rain still poured from the sky. More thunder sounded, and Fay let out a terrified squeak.

Scott had been working hard outside. It seemed that he never got time to himself, and when he did, it was spent eating and sleeping. He hadn't seen Felicity in a while either and he was rather upset that she hadn't stopped by. It was two months into term and still no sign. Still, he wasn't going to let it get to him. He needed to concentrate on work.
He had just finished working with the willow when he felt a few raindrops. Not far after did it down pour. "Great," he muttered as she grabbed his baseball hat and pulled it over his head. At least it'd be a perfect time for a break.
Scott was just heading for the castle when he heard a scream coming just east of him. Glancing over, he squinted but was unable to make out the owner of the voice. Scott sighed and jogged over to the girl. "You alright, Miss?" he shouted, trying to get her attention. She seemed rather scared. It wasn't until he grabbed hold of her arm to help her up, did he see Fay's face. He knew stormed scared her so he helped her to the small building just infront of them.
Pushing the door open rather quickly, he pulled Fay in just behind him and shut the door. He let go of her arm and looked around for a towel or blanket and found an old Quilt. Scott draped it over her shoulders then pulled a crate over and set it down for her to sit. "Here."

Storms terrified Felicity, they always had. Ever since she was young they had. People were always trying to explain why storms came, and how they helped. It was their way to try to make her less afraid. By now, Fay knew everything there was about storms, but that still didn't take away the fear.
The rain had seeped into her clothes, making them cling to her body and weigh her down more. She shrugged off her cloak in an effort to make herself more lightweight, so it would be easier for her to stand. It didn't help though, she just ended up falling again.
Felicity was shivering, mostly from the cold, but partly from her own fears. Her teeth chattered as she clutched the wet grass, trying to compose her thoughts enough to try to stand again. Her hair clung to her face, obscuring her vision. Something grabbed hold of her arm, and she started to thrash, afraid someone was trying to hurt her. But, once she heard the man's voice, she instantly calmed.
Fay was silent the whole way as Scott pulled her to shelter. The only sound she made was her teeth chattering. The quilt warmed her some, so did the fact that she was out of the rain, but still Felicity could not stop her shivering. She sat down on the spot where Scott had indicated, and pulled the quilt closer around her. Silence fell inside the tiny hut, but was quickly broken by another clap of thunder. Felicity flinched and shut her eyes tightly, trying to shut out the sound and stop her constant shivering.
