Harrison clutched his heart almost like an arrow had been shot straight into it and fell backwards at Fay’s small joke about him not listening to rumours. The Gryffindor gave a small laugh and flicked his hair out of his eyes before looking side ways at Felicity finding it hard not to laugh.
“Ok so there are a few rumours I listen to that are not all about me.”
He laughed as he turned his attention back to the sky, his ears were burning red out of slight embarrassment but all he could do was laugh, there was nothing even practically funny about it all. With a deep breath to try and calm himself down Harrison let the last few chuckles escape before looking back at Felicity a wide smile still present on his face.
“Maybe I was simply interested in this rumour because the thought of finding someone more charming then me was to tempting to resist.”
Harrison was surprised that after his pervious miniature laughing fit he had managed to keep a straight face when saying this. When he was being big-headed like this it was normally accompanied with a howl of laughter from his boys, but they were not there today and he did not feel like doing the job himself so he guessed that he would have to let Fay take it what ever way she wanted.

Felicity laughed at his little display and clapped. Apparently she wasn't the only dramatic one. "Bravo! You're a man of many talents it seems. Perhaps I should be more respectful then?" She grinned innocently and batted her eyelashes.
This day had actually turned out interesting, though it started as such a bore. A small grin formed on her lips as she thought about it, while staring out at the Gryffies on the boat. Who would've thought that Felicity Locke would end up talking to Harrison Greg, the supposed Gryffindor popular. Maybe she would get eaten by rabid fan girls after this.
Fay grinned slightly, the corner of one side of her lips turning up. She wasn't quite sure how to take that. Charming as in, the fact she was a veela? Or her personality. Still, a small blush crept up to her cheeks. To cover up, she huffed and crossed her arms.
"Quite honestly I don't know what you mean. No one can be as charming as you Mr. Harrison." She smirked again and placed her hand dramatically over her forehead. "I simply pale in comparison."

Although Harrison did not like attention on a mass scale such as the Gryffindors in the boat he loved the sound of the applause Fay was giving him and could not help but grin as she complimented him. In fact she complimented him twice in as many minutes however he could not help but feel that the later of the compliments had a sardonic twist to it. Quickly sitting up and raising to his knees Harrison looked over at Felicity as she causally mentioned that she was plain.
“Pale…in comparison” Harrison mocked as he looked at her a grin still spread across his face. “My dear Fay I do not think you are as pale as you think, alas I see a tinge of pink.”
Harrison reached out as he spoke and gently stroked the side of her check however he soon caught himself and his actions unsure of why he would do such a thing and he quickly retracted his hand. But he did not turn away or hide his shame of the matter; instead he looked straight into the eyes of Felicity. There was something about her, the mere idea that she was already spoken for made her more tempting, she was something he could not have in comparison to the willingness of bunch of girls that normally followed him.
“Mr Brooks is indeed a lucky man.” He mumbled as Harrison slowly pushed himself up onto his own two feet and put his sun glassed upon once more. He did not want to leave but he could not let himself get in between two people.

It was nice, to just relax and laugh with someone. People were so uptight lately, everyone needed a good laugh now and again. Fay leaned on one of her hands and turned to face Harrison better. He seemed to be beaming from her praise.
One of her hands flashed up to her cheek and she could feel the warmth underneath. Stupid hormones. "Oh dear, I can't imagine why. Maybe I got in a fist fight with someone and the mark is-"
But, she cut herself off. His hand brushed her cheek, light as a feather. She could feel her eyes widen, and her hand instinctively moved to her cheek. And all he did was stare at her, as if testing her. Why? Why did he do that? She didn't charm him, she knew it.
Fay blinked as he stood up, and shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. She barely heard what he said after. Felicity stood and grabbed her bag. "I-I need to go. I'll see you later?" She grinned and wiggled her fingers at him. "Come find me sometime, I enjoyed our chat." Fay spun around on her heel and walked off in the direction of the school, a little faster than before.
