Lex laughed at the little conversation between her brother and Ash. They really were cute together, and being a Veela, she could feel the passion between them. She smiled at the thought that even though they'd both been through recent heartache, that they'd found one another. Sometimes love just takes different routes, she thought to herself.
"So, I've not met Laney or Maxi yet have I?" she asked, thinking back, she was sure she hadn't.

Alexa knew she definately hadn't met them yet. She was looking forward to doing so though, knowing that they were all getting over what had just happened, so she could become friends.
"I doubt I have met them" she smiled sweetly.
"So what classes are you signed up to?"

Ash laughed, "I have ditched class so much, I can't even remember anymore! I don't even bother going to class, I usually just hang out here, or down in Hogsmeade. And yet, I still manage to get top marks in my exams! Funny how that works."

Alexa looked at him in shock. She would never dream of skipping classes. She had it drilled into her since a young age that if she ever did, then she would be severly punished, by the Private Magic school teachers and her adoptive parents.
"Oh. I couldn't even think of ever skipping class, My parents would kill me" she said.

Ash grinned, "Well, maybe we need to work on your lying skills." His tone became serious, "Because to be truthful, not knowing how to lie at this school, can be dangerous."

Ash sighed, "Well, for the most part, the Ministry." He glanced around to make sure no one was listening then leaned in and lowered his voice, "The ministry has literally taken over Hogwarts. They claim that it's to keep us 'safe' but the ministry has become so corrupt, that they don't trust anyone. If a minsitry official catches you with one toe out of line, the punishment will be so harsh, it's going to make private school look like a piece of cake. If you're ever caught near the scene of a 'crime' lie your way out, best as you can. Now, you have to remember, these people are not idiots. Occasionally they will catch you in a lie. But if you become good enough, those chances go down." Ash looked at Alexa searching her face, "Now do you understand why it's nessecary to lie in certain cases?"
(when we gonna bring cris back in? i imagine the poor boy's getting bored just sitting there!)

Cris nodded along with Ash. Cristian was lucky enough not to be caught in anything involved with the Ministry just yet, only time would tell.
"Yeah" he simply said.

Alexa remembered what Ash had told her. It was obviously a big thing here, so she made a mental note in her mind.
"I've taken Potions, Herbology, Care Of Magical Creatures, Divination and Astronomy" she smiled at her choice of classes. Not everyone would agree though.
