(ignore the title, i didn't know what to call it)
Hills of winter spread far into the distance. Everything covered in snow. One could hardly take a step without hearing the crunch of the snow below. But she was used to it; it was normally cold back in Russia. The cold winter's wind slapped across Abigail's face as she wandered the endless sea of white wonder. Confusion had struck her about an hour ago, when she first left the large school. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to be at some Greenhouse, or some other class right now. Or an hour ago. Heck, it could be forever ago, she had lost track of time.
Her hands were numb, and her face flushed from the cold. Rubbing her hands together, she looked around, finding no other person about. "Of course.." She mumbled to herself, frustrated by now. She knew no one would come looking for her, for she had just transferred here recently. No one knew her, and if they did, they probably heard it from some sort of rumor. But she hadn't been there long enough for a rumor to be started, so that would just confuse her.
Turning around, she looked for the Castle, deciding to turn it in while she still had that conscious thought in her head. But, as she wheeled around, looking in all directions, she couldn't tell if the things in the distance were the Castle, the Pitch, or the village. 'Maybe I should've had a map drawn or something?' Abby thought, silently cursing to herself, as she rubbed her hands together again.
The Wizarding school back in Russia was nothing compared to Hogwarts. This place had to have millions of acres, while the one back in her old country, had only a few. Then again, her house was small too. But that was because they lived Lower Middle Class, and the five bedroom house held nine people. Everyone but her mom had to share a room, which of course made the children jealous. Their newer home in England had seven rooms, but Abby and her cousin, Margret, had to share a room, because they were the youngest.
Margret was four years younger then AJ; an eleven-year-old annoyance. Abby would've much preferred sharing a room with her older sister, Ami, then with Margret. But Ami had insisted that she get her own room, seeing as she was the oldest of the three girls (Abigail, Ami, and Margret, that is) She was stuck in the middle between the two, Ami being four years older, and Margret being four years younger. Audric was two years older then her, and he got his own room. The whole room thing had upset all the children. In the end, Uncle Dave sorted it out, having Alric, Audric, Ami, and Frank have their own rooms, and Margret and Abby sharing one. Of course, the two sharing the room weren't the slightest pleased with it, but they tolerated it.
Getting back into reality, she could no longer feel her toes. Frowning, Abigail decided to take the far left thing in the distance. Trudging through the snowy ground, she could swear she could hear a separate pair of feet making contact with the snowy ground. Nonetheless, she ignored it, determined to get back in the castle before she herself was a snowman.
