Jase had been told you had to let someone know if you were an Animagi in this country. Of course he had been registered in America because the school he went to taught fifteen year olds and older how to become an Animagi. So he was making his way down to the Ministry to have a word and explain to her why he was an Animagi, and more to the point, why he was an underage one in this country.
"Excuse me" Jase asked an elderly witch as she stopped and turned to look at him, "Where can I find Mrs Grace?" The elderly witch took his hand and with a warm smile she asked in her old voice, "Ah, Amelia? Shes head of the Animagus division." The witch explained how to get there so Jase thanked her and was on his way.
About five minutes later, Jase found the door to her office and tapped on it, opening it a crack and peering inside to see the woman behind her desk. "Mrs Grace?" He asked with a smile, "I need to talk to you, if thats alright?"

Despite the imposing mound of papers haphazardly organised on her desk, the appearance of Amelia Grace was quite stately. Not a hair out of place, not a fold of fabric askew. It was as if the brats and their parents weren't barging through her door every five minutes, begging for a permit and not to be sent to Azkaban. The lot of them, unfortunately, hadn't received the luxury of getting off scott-free. They were all thrown in cells, without a hint of mercy to sustain them. For the first ten minutes in her entire life, she was afforded a moment's peace - until the stench of a Gryffindor floated through her door. A few moments later, the bearer arrived, knocking on the door and asking for entrance. Nay, not entrance, but for a word. A look of irritation slithered on to her face, as the ministry woman waved him in, sitting behind her desk and arching an eyebrow, a look her daughter exhibited quite well.
"What do you want?" Whoever had directed him here must have been nice, but very stupid. Whoever had schedualed an appointment knew the way, and were treated a tad more fairly than whoever did not. Seeing as he had no idea how to make his way here, he must not have called first. And that ground Amelia's gears. To an extent that she wasn't even bothering to use psuedo-sweetness and politeness when dealing with him. "Let me guess.. You want to register, but you're underage, thus creating even more problems for me. Am I on the right track?" She had heard it all before.

"Actually no"
Jase came in and sat down, he couldnt believe he had to re-register in a different continent with different rules. Jase was sat infront of a Ministry Official, here where it was illegal to be sixteen and an Animagi, but he was one and she couldnt change that. He looked at her, she seemed annoyed but in all honesty, the Gryffindor wasnt really that bothered.
"I learnt to be an Animagi in America," He told her, "In the acadamy where I was they taught fifth years and higher to be Animagi's if they wanted to be one."
Jase looked at her, he didnt know if this was registering in her brain but in America he was a legal Animagi, he may not be here in England but he was in America. He ran a hand through his hair, he felt like he was being interrogated sat here talking to Mrs Grace, though he knew it had to be done or he would be another Animagi that was being hunted down.
"We were taught step by step in a safe and controlled environment, if there was anyone they thought we'rent up to it they dropped them out of the course, in the end there was just me and one other person. We were able to become Animagi and we were registered at the Ministry in America." Jase shrugged, "Get in touch with them if you dont believe me, but there's not much you can do about me being an Animagi, you can either register me or watch me carry on being an unregistered one."

"Actually no." Arching an eyebrow at this, Amelia listened to his explanation, drumming her finger nails against the desk dully. She hadn't heard of this so-called 'academy' he trained at, nor did she care all that much. Though something must be done about this. "I'd like a name of your previous Academy, and the professor you completed your training with. I'll also need the names of your parents, assuming they're still alive," Since one or both parents, in some families, weren't exactly walking around alive these days, "I need to ask you a few more questions, then you shall be dismissed, and I will speak with other Ministry personel and come to a decision." Kapische? Lovely.
" ...or watch me carry on being an unregistered one." At this, the woman smiled, almost eerily, "Ah, but you misunderstand my authority on the matter. I can't simply have you walking around without a permit. That would put my standards at risk." Now.. On to another topic. "Why did you want to become an animagi in the first place?" Fixing him with a speculative look, suspicious of his motives (she was right to be, after all, there were so many bad men out there) as she scribbled down something in the notebook in front of her. Definitely time to speak to Esther about this issue.
