Ryan was sat on a rock on a hot warm winter day, wearing his anti-light cape all the light was absorbed into the cape, so he could not die due to sunlight fatalities. He looked out upon the grounds, the grass was wet with dew or morning rain, when it had not rained. Ryan looked bearing his fangs childishly whole looking to the west at where the black lake was. He was fascinated by the Black Lake he wondered how the water always seemed t be Black and why other than the obvious reason it was called the Black Lake. The lake was nearly a full circle, with sharp edges near the land.

Ash walked down towards the lake, hands jammed into the pockets of his skinny jeans, the weather was quite nice for October so he had decided to go outside. Reaching the lake, he noticed a boy he'd never seen before. A Slytherin. Ash approached cautiosly. "Hi. I've never seen you around. Are you new here?"

Ryan turned before the Ravenclaw boy could speak, he had heard him walking using enhanced hearing. Although Ryan loved the things he was wearing and would compliment him by saying nice jeans, he did not he just sat there." Hey Ash I'm Ryan, and no I;m not new im 7th year. hope your not going to be a jerk like the other Ravenclaws," he put on an imitative voice," Oh look its the Vampire boy, lets take the p*ss out of him", Ryan said.

Ash grinned. "Nice to meet you Ryan. Don't worry, I'm not like them. One of my friends is a vampire, she's also part siren."

Ryan attempted a grin but only got half way there,"yes! finally someone who doesn't treat me as a freak, and really a Siren/Vampire friend nice!"Ryan said cheerfully.

Ash laughed as he sat down next to Ryan. "Yeah, Rikki's awesome. Well, her real name is Erika. But we call her Rikki." He smiled, "You're not like the other Slytherin's." he observed quietly.

Ryan looked at Ash as he sat down on the large rock next to him."Rikki, a name and a half cool i might try and find her one day, if i can find my way round the castle."Ryan smiled at him."and yeah I'm not like the others because, i have ot make the best of life i cant die so whats the point in living in hell for eternity".

Ash nodded. "Slytherin's really annoy me. I mean, I have Slytherin friends, and they're great. But the vast majority are still into the whole 'I'm a pureblood so I'm better than you' crap. That war was over a hundred years ago! Grow up people!"

Ryan looked at Ash,"Half of 'em are not even pureblood I can smell it mostly halfbloods and whats the problem with 'em 'I'm pureblooded because my parents dont dare marry anyone but their cousins', well thats not my dead family but its general pureblood peoples attitude".

Ash nodded. "Yep. It's ridiculous! I mean, I'm a pureblood. Found out last year that my dad is a Squib, we always thought he was a muggle. But do I go around lording it over everyone? No, I don't. They need to grow up and get a reality check!"

Ryan looked at Ash, and nodded."I think the problem is the parents,they always seem to have problems look at Draco Malfoy hes a wimp then take Hermione Granger, shes a muggle born and her Ron and Harry took on Voldemort loads of times. Anyway moving on from mind slaughtering snobby purebloods. erm... ive forgot what i was going to say".
