The clocktower truck 1:00 a.m and Brieanna was on her way down toward the lake. On the way a song was playing through her mind. It wasn't just any song, it was one of her favorites. It was called 'Only Time' by a muggle singer name Enya. As she started to sing the song down the little path to the lake, the moon was shining not too terribly bright due to the bustle of clouds that were closing in on it. The stars were in perfect view to give off a somewhat peaceful atmosphere and the way that they reflected off of the mass of water that laid before her was just gorgeous.
It was semi chilly out from the changes in the weather, winter was just around the corner. For the past couple of years, Brieanna and her parents had been fighting because they think she could have made something better of herself rather than becoming an Auror. The young woman didn't see it that way, and she wasn't going to give them the satisfaction of giving into their wants and desires for her to be what they wanted her to be. Brieanna wanted to be and was her own person and how she was going act, walk, talk, and do whatever it was she wanted. No one could make her change that. She was satisfied with herself and she loved who she was. Brieanna's sister Malique invited her to come home for a weekend, but she had sent an owl back declining. She didn't want to make anymore tension between her and her parents than their already was.
As she walked a few more feet before reaching the lake, Brieanna noticed there wasn't anyone around but her. Well that's what she thought anyway, of course, she never doubted that there wasn't anyone around, but who knows. A soft sigh escaped her lips, her long reddish brown hair was caught up in the gentle breeze that flowed gracefully by, her making strands of hair flow into her face. Brieanna's light blue eyes travelled over the lakes surface and her feet came to a halt as she reached the edge. Held in a warm embrace by her own arms snugged close to her thin frame, a smile creased her lips when she saw her own reflection. Pausing for just a moment, "At least I am who I want to be now." she said quietly to herself, then continued on with the song.
The lake was like a mirage of the moons light, the trees, the sky all reflecting off the surface of the water, people walking around as if they were just oblivious to the world. At that point, Brieanna realized that her life had become uncertain. Of what? That was the problem. Brieanna Karece had never been uncertain in her life about anything. Until now. But what made her uncertain, she didn't know. She didn't want to think about it, all she wanted to do was stand there with her arms hugged around the front of her waist and get lost in the surroundings.

Ash walked along the edge of the lake, singing softly to himself, somewhere a clock struck 1:00 am. Ash looked up at the star-strewn sky, small grey clouds drifted across the moon. Sighing, he looked out across the lake, the deceptively passive waters glittering as they reflected diamond-like starlight. Walking along he smiled as a gentle breeze played with his hair. Ash heard footsteps ahead, and stopped. He cautiously ventured forward, the night was dark, but he didn't want to risk getting caught, and so left his wand unlit. Unfortunately, maybe he should have lit it anyway, at least that way he wouldn't have walked right into someone...
