"Oh I dont know," Ricky half smiled, "I'd say it was pretty soft." Though it wasnt soft soft, but it was definatly soft enough. You could tell she spent a lot of her time, well Ricky could only assume to running away from hoards of Gryffindors and Puffs and whatever else. Ricky didnt press the matter of her soft stomach, he didnt want to be cat food afterall.
He laughed when Erys rolled her eyes at him, it was no secret that Ricky prized himself on his looks, nor was it a secret that he classed himself higher than most, no, every person at this school. Ricky was downright full of himself and he knew that, it added to his arrogant self which of course, Ricky wouldnt change even if he wanted to. Ricky smirked when he spotted her claws come out, though for a brief moment he had a vision of Erys setting those dangerous claws on him so he stepped back a little bit.
"Dangerous is my middle name," Ricky laughed and shook his head, "Well actually it's Jackson but, whatever." With that Ricky watched as Erys stood and began brushing dirt of herself, "Need a hand?" He asked with a laugh and rather cheekily. Though turning around, Ricky began to walk further in the forest on the quest to find something dangerous.

Simply rolling her eyes at him with a grin, Erys glanced behind her, then back at him while arching an eyebrow, "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks." He wasn't about to touch her behind any time soon, lets put it this way. But the comment was funny, so she let it pass, even laughing a little at it. She had never run away from any fight with a Gryffindork or a Puffball. If anything, she left verbal fights, but that was because there were witnesses that might report any suspicious jinxing behavior. The real battle would come later. "Oh yes, and I have another chick to add to our list." He'd know what she meant, as Sarie was on it too, as they planned, "Polaris Stormwrath. Mutt needs to be taught a lesson." Erys stated calmly, eyes flashing green.
It was a good thing he prized himself on his looks. Whoever didn't ended up looking scraggly and gross. No, not her house. Slytherins were always well-kept and gorgeous, not to mention sexy and dark. Not even joking, Erys loved how it was like that. She couldn't complain, as she spent some time on her appearance as well. Not too much to make her some sort of.. Makeup hag, or something, but enough to make her look pretty. Beautiful, even. Nah, lets just go with hot.
"And I'll bet its your middle name." Erys remarked to his earlier comment, sticking her tongue out playfully, "Ricky Dangerous Daine. Such a nice ring to it." Quickening her pace if only to get her trekking beside/a little ways infront of him, the animagus wondered if they'd run into a vampire. Or maybe one of those big spiders? They were neat.

[Alright I will >.<]
"Well if you're sure," Ricky answered with a shrug and a smile, he knew better than to push things with Erys, he was still a little wary about those claws of hers which he was sure would do more than a little bit of damage. As he went to walk away, the word 'List' caught his attention which made him turn back around and listen to her, with obvious interest. It was always good to have a list of things to do, kept you busy and amused, and this list would keep them amused for a while, "What sort of name is Polaris Stormwrath?" Ricky sneered, he had never heard of a more stupid name in his life, and he had heard some very strange names, "Mutt?" Sighing he knew what was coming next, "Another Animagus I presume? Or is it a halfbreed?"
Slytherins were definatly known for their perfectly structered faces, their perfect bodies and Ricky was no different. In his own eyes anyway, but that was the only person he ever tried to impress and if Ricky found one strand of hair out of place he would start over. Maybe he wasnt that bad, but he would definatly sort it out. Ricky wasnt too tall, like that overgrown blonde Gryffindor, Maxi, and he wasnt too small like that squirt Bradyn Reed. He was just right, and had muscle all in the right places of course. So naturally, Ricky only hung out with people who were like him, people like Erys.
"Ricky Jackson-Dangerous Daine" Laughing he looked at Erys, "Might have a ring to it, but its such a mouthful." Especially if you didnt shorten his first name down from Richard to Ricky. Richard had become such a common name to the point where Ricky had hated it and changed it to Ricky. Once Ricky became common, he would... Do something else if not change his name completely.
As Ricky and Erys were walking, something gave a high pitched squeel behind him. Figuring it was probably just another student, probably one with a vengance against the two Slytherins, Ricky turned but what he came face to face with was not a student. It was a blood thirsty halfbreed! "Crap" Ricky said simply as he saw the fangs of Vamp, and the red eyes gleaming with hunger, well, Ricky had not expected this that was for sure. "Vampires, I always knew I hated Ha-Forests" He had stopped himself from saying Half-Breeds, probably not the best time to bring up his hatred for them.

Pleased at the disgust in his voice, Erys continued, "A pompous wolf animagus who needs to be put in her place." They would take 'fighting like cats and dogs' to a whole new level, those two. Running into his back the moment he stopped walking, she grunted something around the lines of an 'oof', stepping back shakily. Peering around him, Erys rolled her eyes, clearly disappointed with what faced them now. "Aw, crap! Why do I always run into a vampire in the forest?" The Slytherin moaned, slapping her palm to her forehead with exhasperation. "Really, its getting kind of old." She said matter-of-factly to the vamp, tilting her head to the side and nodding.
What was the spell she used last time to fend of a vampire? Joshua used the last time when they were nearly ripped to shreds. Nice to know history preferred repeating itself, with the same scene yet a different actor. She was with Ricky, not her ex, and if she didn't remember the spell they were in for some real trouble. Curling her lip over her fangs, Erys crouched, hissing as her pupils slitted like a cat's. Hands and claws poised, she didn't even think about using her wand. She might even consider it weak this time. They could take it, right? Right!
"Lets have some fun." Erys grinned beside him, facing the vampire as it began to circle them. Now this was the danger she had been looking for.

With a sound that sounded oddly like "Eeugh" Ricky scrunched up his nose, If he knew anything about wolves, they smelled. Wolf fir was not the nicest scent to have up your nose and Ricky couldnt help but think, ew when he was told. "Putting idiots in their place," Ricky said tonelessly, "Should be our profession, seriously" Ricky laughed at the thought of Erys and Ricky graduating and their new job would be putting people in their place or something like that. "Well, you may run into them all the time, but I dont." In all honesty, Ricky had never even seen one, and they were more ugly than he ever imagined. Ricky raised his eyebrow at the thing who seemed to be eying him, "Dont tell me this thing wants vampire kids with me." Ricky snarled in a voice that was dripping with discust.
The vampire was circling around them both, snarling and drool slipping from its fangs, its blood thirsty red eyes looking at them both as though this was the meal was the best thing that ever happened to it, but Ricky would be damned if he was going to be someones meal. Ricky looked around to see Erys, but realised she was crouching on the floor. Her eyes had changed and her claws were out, making Ricky smile, he always found it oddly, strange, but yet, it suited her.
"Fun is also my middle name" Ricky's name was getting longer and longer and longer, it was now, according to him, Ricky Jackson-Dangerous-Fun Daine. Or maybe it should be Dangerously-Fun Daine. Who knew? Pulling out his wand, he twizzled it between his fingers, "Sorry love, no fast food for you tonight"

"We'd excell at it, naturally." Funny, how they managed to keep a conversation going when faced with possibly iminent death. Hah, sorry, couldn't keep a straight face while saying that. They wouldn't be the ones biting the dust this evening. Glancing up at him as the words 'have kids with me' left his lips, Erys laughed, "Well, who wouldn't? You're a hunky piece of man-meat dripping with.. Manliness." Laughing a little harder now, the vampire chose this moment to launch at her, and she nearly missed it by ducking and rolling out of the way.
His last comment was lost to her ears as Erys propelled herself at the.. Was it a female? Anyway, she was a blur of green and shadow as she pummelled her clawed fists into the creature's face, feeling sticky crimson warmth trail over her fingers and down her wrists. Wow, they sure bled easily. Hearing a satisfying scream, the vamp lashed out with sharp fingernails, catching her in the shoulder and shoving, hard. Muffling a grunt as she did a backwards somersault into a tree, the Slytherin composed herself, rubbing her head where it hit the bark. Now that was going to be a bruise in the morning.
Shaking off the blur that had settled on her vision, Erys snarled, getting back into her crouch and looking at Ricky. Was he okay, or was he already vamp-food? She had confidence he wasn't going to get eaten.

"Of course we would!" An unbreakable team is what they were. And a bloody thumping good one that was for sure! Ricky stood there as the vampire encircled them once more, running its pale hands over his shoulders, which made him shudder, and if he wasnt mistaken the thing had a smirk on its face too. "Meat?" He asked surprised looking at Erys, then realising that he shouldnt take his eyes off something that wants his blood, he looked back, "I agree with hunky, but Im not a piece of meat." Though he couldnt help but laugh.
What happened next, Ricky had to press the rewind button in his mind it all happened so fast. Though he only realised what happened when Erys was flung backwards, rage building up inside him, for some unknown reason but saying that it didnt take much to flick Ricky's anger switch, "Dont you dare touch her!" Ricky flicked his wand and said something he couldnt even remeber, but whatever it was it worked and the Vampire went flying back into another tree. Its cackle cut short but now it just looked angry.
The vampire pushed itself off the tree and Ricky stood directly in the middle of Erys and the creepy vamp. With a roar it lunged on Ricky, his wand went flying off somewhere out of its reach as the fanged halfbreed took a bite at him, though using his arms he managed to keep the keep the thing at arms length.
This was not the sitch Ricky wanted to find himself in.

Well wasn't this something? Erys hadn't been in a scrap this intense since, well, ever. And he was so gentlemanly too; she couldn't help but feel a twinge of affection for her after that powerful statement. Ignoring her injured shoulder, a jolt of rage electrified her as the beast went after Ricky. What happened next was too fast even for her to remember exactly, but she ran and flung herself at the vamp's back, her paws latching into their skin and clinging on as they shrieked while trying to remove her. Attention brought back to her now, this left her friend some time to find his wand.
Hissing and spitting feline-taunts, Erys released her hold on their back, landing light on her paws as she whirled around, completely feline now. It lashed out at her, its blows careful but predictable. Sidestepping a flailing limb, she dove beside one of its legs, lashing out with a hooked claw to slice open their calf. Turning back around only to spin rapidly away, Erys yowled loudly in pain, the vampire's foot having connected solidly with her cheek.
Spinning off into the brush, Erys landed, quite hard one might add, in a rough patch of bristles. Almost grunting as her body made impact, she lay there a while, aching. Get up. Get up. She mentally scolded herself, reminding herself that Ricky needed her help. They were a team.

So being vampire food wasnt on his list of things to do, but it certainly beat doing astronomy homework, at least he would have a plausable excuse for not doing it. Not that he could give it if he was dead but you got the point. Ricky's arms were beginning to pain him, the creature was putting more and more strain on him. Feeling like any moment his arms were going to buckle, never did he imagine dying for some chick. Though his arms lost the weight and when he looked around, Erys was on the things back. "Wand wand, where a-ah! There you are!" Picking up his wand he pointed it at the chest of the creature. "Secumsempra! Have a taste of your own blood halfbreed!"
Noticing Erys lying on the floor, he ran over to her as the thing scarpered off with a gash in its chest. Picking her up and resting her against a tree so she was a little more comfy Ricky smirked. "Well that was close, you alright?" That was a question never taken lightly when used by Ricky Daine. When he asked if someone was alright he meant it. Moving a strand of hair from the Slytherins face he added, "Can you stand? That thing might come back and with backup"
Teamwork, thats what that had taken. Ricky knealt beside Erys and took a bit of time out himself. That was tiring but he was up for the next dangerous deed, though being Slytherin-courtious he waited until she was ready. Not losing his team-mate, or leaving her behind.
((That sucked))

Slithering out of cat form, Erys struggled out of the brambles, the nettles clawing at her skin and tearing her clothes. Grateful as he helped her up, she closed her eyes as she rested against the tree, trying to keep her breathing calm as her heart pounded in her chest. "Wow." She murmured, a little breathless from the ordeal, "I'm fine." She wasn't as badly scratched up as last time, but her shoulder had taken alot of damage. In fact, nearly her entire shirt was soaked with blood. Huh, funny how she didn't notice the pain until now. Ouch. Masking a grimace, her hand flew to the wound, pressing against it as she shuddered involuntarily. "Yeah, I'm fine." Same ol' Erys, stubborn and resistant when it came to infirmary trips. She never liked going to the hospital wing, and if she had her way, she wouldn't have to again.
"I can stand." Erys replied, voice a little thicker now. "Do you want to go back, or keep going?" Assuming she wouldn't bleed to death, the Slytherin was rearing for another go. She'd probably kill herself at this rate, being so stubborn. Rising up while keeping her free hand against the bark, she noticed with much satisfaction that her legs only shook a little. Score one for Erys!

((Ahhh Forgive Me for abadoning this!! Wont let it happen again))
"Remind me never to get on your bad side!"
Ricky joked as he stood up, looking down at Erys who said she was okay, yet Ricky thought otherwise, still this was Erys and he had learnt not to doubt her. He was rubbing his own arm where the things nails had dug into him, they were bleeding but not much, but if they scarred Ricky would go and hunt the thing down and force it into sunshine. Watching the thing burn now that would be fun. Ricky hadnt been to the hospital wing since that halfbreed Girty popped his shoulder out of place on the Quidditch pitch, still that showed his strength and determination of how he didnt go off the pitch and carried on flying even with a dislocated shoulder.
Still, even though she seemed stable, Ricky ducked his head under her arm and put his own arm around her back. He knew that you could look stable yet still stumble around, so until her legs stopped shaking he would keep her upright. Afterall, he knew she would do the same for him, they looked out for eachother. "Im up for round two!" He laughed and looked at her with a stupid grin on his face, one that was clearly joking, this side of Ricky didnt come out often, though when it did, it kept the Slytherins amused.

{ xD No problem, its alright. }
"Thanks." Erys muttered, closing her eyes and concentrating. Soon her legs had stopped shaking enough, and the wound was beginning to heal over. Slowly but steadily; increased metabolism was awesome. "Lets go in deeper." She grinned wickedly, moving her head so she 'accidentally' pressed her cheek against his. "Sorry." The Slytherin laughed softly, beginning to move forward until he came with her, or let her go.
"So lets see, we have a few options. We could go west and run into ginormous spiders, or head over to the lake and fight off wierd mer-creatures." Depended on if he wanted to get wet or not. It was especially dangerous at night, but hey, they loved the thrill right? Her wounds would heal, as they always did. So would his. All Erys knew was that she never wanted this night to end.
{ Ah, short, sorry. ^^; }
