Ashlee felt like the Ministry was taking away from her life. She no longer enjoyed her job in the Ministry and decided to quit; despite the many pleas for her to stay. She opened up a clothing store in Hogsmeade, deciding it was the best for her. She could stay close to Hogwarts and those she cared for. She had no home anymore thanks to the Ministry.
Ashlee walked to the door of Gladrags Wizardwear and unlocked the door with her silver key. She flipped the sign to OPEN and opened up all the shades in the store. She walked back towards the counter and sat patiently in a chair by the cash register. Finally she had time to catch up on her reading.

Antoinette slipped into the door, her skirt rustling as she entered the shop. A rush of warm air met her as she did, banishing some of the flush from her rosy cheekbones. Smiling at the woman behind the cashregister, Antoinette let the door fall shut behind her, nearly catching the hem of her cloak in the frame. As Antoinette leaped away from the situation, the clip in her hair came loose, and a cascade of blonde curls fell over her shoulders. With a grimace, Antoinette picked the clip off the sparkling floor, and twirled her hair back into position. Avanding into the store, Antoinette began to tune her mind to one of her best suits: shopping. With no mother, and a father with very little fashion in his heart, Antoinette had learned young to fend for herself in the huge malls across the country. Running a hand over the fine fabrics, Antoinette began to search. ((What exactly is sold here? Robes and hats? Dresses? Jewlery? All of the above? Should I justmake up what I want to buy? )

Ashlee smiled as a young girl had wandered into her shop. She put the book down and stood up. She flattened down her silk shirt and gave a small gesture of welcoming to the girl. AJ walked out from behind the counter and approached the young girl, "Hello," she said sweetly. "If there's anything you need help with, please, don't be afraid to Ask. I'll probably be wandering around the store some so if you need me, either call for me or come find me, alright? I'm Ashlee Van Dort," she said.
((Let's just say, Every item of clothing is sold here... of course its Wizarding fashion and not muggle. And sure, we can add some accessories))

Antoinette smiled brightly at the woman, gesturing around the shop. "Quite a nice set up you've got here. I'm Antoinette Rouge, by the way. A student at Hogwarts." She pointed a thumb in the direction of the castle. After a few moments of wandering around the shop, a very nice cloak caught Antoinette's eye. Suspended on a mannequin, it was tucked away in the corner, hidden behind a rack of purple wizard hats. With the look of a hunter who has cornered the rare crumpled horn snorkak, Antoinette advanced upon the garment, admiring it from all sides. A beautiful shade of cream, it was think fleece, with a red silk inside. A shining ribbon of scarlett carresed the neck of the mannequin, lining the hood of the beautiful cloak. With a small sigh of longing, Antoinette ran a hand over the soft outside, then lifted a side to look in at the lining. A small pocket on the inside served for a wand, and Antoinette could see the evidence of spells for warmth, dirt reppelance, and a certain discouragement to moth-balls. Finding the parchment pricetag, Antoinette turned it over. The cloak was ____ Galleons. Although pricey, Antoinette had more then enough with her. Her father often endured fits of worry at home that his little girl was suffering, alone at some big school in the country. When this occured, he invariably sent her a long letter, a box of chocolates, and a check for a decent sum of money: it seemed to make him feel better. Antoinette certainly had no problem with it. Pulling the Witch Cloak off the mannequin, Antoinette advanced on the counter, holding it over her arm. "I'll take this one, please." She said with a smile for the blonde woman behind the desk.
((Not sure what the price is.))

Ashton pushed open the door, and stepped inside the shop, he had heard that his old friend Ashlee Van Dort, had opened up a wizards clothing shop in Hogsmeade, and Ash was dying to check it out. Looking around the store he saw a vast array of wizards-wear: Robes, hats, dressrobes, accessories, everything a wizard could wear. He saw Ashlee and smiled, "Hey Ashlee."

Ashlee smiled at Antionette as she grabbed the garment from her and folded it neatly. "I used to be a student there," she conversed, "Hufflepuff to be exact. Once I graduated I joined the ministry but since this whole, 'Ministry trying to take over the world' thing I quit and came here," she said with a smile. She placed it into a box after ringing it up. She took the young girls money and gave her the change she had coming to her. "There you are," she said handing her the box, "Enjoy."
Ashlee noticed an old friend had walked into the store and a grin spread across her face, "Ashton!" she exclaimed as she walked over to him and pulled him into a hug, "How's school? How is everyone?" she said pulling away from him. She looked him up and down, "You're looking great, by the way."
((We're just gonna say its as much as you want it. I don't really care! lol If you think it should cost so much, then it does... I don't really want to make a price list right now. It's the grand opening, we'll just say everything's on sale. I'll make a price list soon... so make up a price for now.....))

Ashlee grinned widely, "I'm glad you're making friends. That's always a good thing. I saw that you're father was in town. He was walking around earlier this week. I hope he didn't cause too much trouble for you, Hun," she said placing a friendly hand on his shoulder. "I'm glad to see you," she continued.

Ash rolled his eyes, "Oh no trouble at all, just the occasional yelling and slap in the face!" he said sarcastically. "Actually, I'm fine. Haven't seen him much." he said, shrugging. Looking over Ashlee's shoulder he spotted the most magnificent cloak he had ever seen, it was made from rich, crushed velvet, it was black, but when the light hit it, one could see shimmers of sapphire blue, that matched Ash's eyes perfectly. The inside was lined with fine, blue silk of a lighter cerulean shade. The silver clasp was carved with a picture of the moon and stars. Walking over to the cloak, Ash held it between his fingers, feeling the soft, luxurious fabric. He sighed wistfully, knowing that as much as he would love to have it, he just didn't have the money.

Ashlee smiled as she watched Ash walk to a cloak. She followed him as he cornered it and examined it. She smiled, "You like it?" she asked him while she looked for the price tag. Once finding it, she ripped it off and hid it in her pocket. "You can have it Ash. Think of it as a gift from me to you. Besides, if it wasn't for my friends, I'd still be in the Ministry."

Ash gave a small smile, " But Ashlee, I can't take it!" he protested. "How will you make money if the customer doesn't pay?"

Ashlee laughed and shook her head. "I have plenty of money. You should know that. I'm from a wealthy family, it's not going to hurt my shop one bit. I'll just pay for it myself. Trust me, Ashton, take it," she pulled the cloak off the hanger and took it to the counter. She folded it neatly, "Here. And if you try coming up with another reason to not take it, I'll hex you," she said kidding-ly.

Ash smiled as Ashlee took it to the counter and wrapped it up, "Alright, I'll take it." he said, "Hmm, matches my eyes, that's a plus." he commented.

Antoinette smiled at the woman- Ashlee, she said her name was Ashlee- as she recieved her change. She had to resist the urge not to hum happily. She always felt such a rush of endorphines after finding a beautiful garment, it felt like a piece was falling into place. Taking the box, she turned, and proceeded to the door, nodding at the raven-haired youth as she passed him. As the cold air hit Antoinette's ivory skin, she hardly resist the urge to laugh out loud. It had been quite an excellent day: no doubt about it. The air was crisp, the sun was out, and that was that mysterious taste on the wind: snow. "Snow." Antoinette said, relishing the sound of the word on her rosy lips. It sounded like hot chocolate, and snow angles, and long walks with her father. With a smile spreading across her face, Antoinette made her away across the main stree, clutching the box in her hands. Suddenly, she paused, her thin, leather boots pausing midstep. Why wait? Taking off her sahpire cloak, she pointed her wand at it, muttering: "Evanesco." The cloak swirled for a moment before popping out sight. It was as though the breeze itself had swirled it into nothingness. Antoinette, with the loving care usually only seen between a mother and her firstborn, opened the box, pulling the the ivory cloak from it safe haven. As soon as she placed it around her throat, a feeling of warmth spread through her. The red, silk inside of the garment brought out the blooming roses on her high cheekbones, and the happiness the cloak brought her lent a certain sparkle to the startlingly blue eyes. With another smile, Antoinette vanished the box with a flick of her wand, adn proceded down the high street.

Disappointed at the weather outside - for she really hated snow - Erys kept herself warm by breezing into a store every so often. Entering, pretending to be interested in something, seeing the price, then leaving. Money was no object, her family status assured that at least. But it gave her an excuse to get the heat she desired, and not have to buy anything stupid. That wasn't in her mind, however, when she stepped into Gladrags Wizardwear.
Being the grand opening of the establishment, it wouldn't hurt to look around. From what was displayed in the store window there were some pretty fine things in this place. Nice clothes, beautiful jewelery.. Each factor alone was enough to draw a pretty girl in to take a look-see. Which was exactly what Erys Grace did as she stepped into the store, eyes darting about, looking for something that caught her eye. That certain something happened to be the jewelery display. { You said you had accessories, so.. ^^; }
Her pale, lithe fingers wrapped their beautifully crimson-painted nails around a silver chain necklace, from which hung a silver cat head. Its emerald eyes glittered green from the tiny embedded jewels- it was perfect for her. Being a cat animagus, she couldn't help but be drawn to pretty, kitty things. Tightening her grip on her prize, Erys slunk towards the front desk, smiling politely at Ashlee. She had seen her around the school before she had graduated. "Hey, Dort." Choking back a snicker, the Slytherin composed herself, keeping polite but enjoying her teeny jab by the sparkle in her eyes. "I'd like to buy this." Digging into her pocket for the price in coins, (it can be whatever, I dont care.) Erys then paid her, refusing to take a bag when she could wear it around her neck.[/color]
