Ash nodded. "Alright." He went around back to the clothing rack, pulled off five dresses and five jackets, and hung them on the half-emtpy rack, then went back over to Jen. "What next?"

Jennifer smiled as Ash was quick doing the job just set for him. Watching him as he put the items on the rack and asked what was next, she smiled.
"Alright, well here" she said moving away from the till, so Ash could stand infront of it. Looking over, she looked at the till and pointed out the buttons to him.
"Alright, now basically it's pretty easy. All you have to do is look at the price tags on the clothes, then type it in, press the plus button and keep adding the price tags on then when you've finished press the equals button and it'll show the amount owed, When the customer hands over the money, you type in how much they've given you, and press 'total' and the amount of change they owe will show up on the screen and the till will open, and you put the money in and give them their change. Have you got that?"

Ash nodded, "Yeah." He looked around the store at all the people. Queen's Apparell was going to be a hit for sure. As he was looking around a new tune popped into his mind, his black nailed fingers tapped against the counter as he sang softly to himself.
"I have to wonder if there's waves too big to ride

Jennifer smiled as she heard Ash singing to himself.
"Alright, we'll i'll leave you to get used to it, I'll just be keeping an eye on the store and talking to lovely Hubbles here" she smiled and stroked Ash's arm.
"Don't worry, you'll do great here" she said reassuringly.

Jennifer looked at Ash suprised. Did she really have a crush on Dan? Was it that obvious? She raised her eyebrows in shock and horror.
"Shh, Nothing will ever come of it. He loves somebody else. Dia somebody? I dunno" she whispered as she leant over to him. She stood back up straight and looked over to Dan before looking back to Ash and raising her finger up to her mouth and smiled.

Jennifer nodded. She didn't know much about her, but she didn't want to know either.
"Yes, well. It's not like i'm the only one is it? He seems to have a fan club all of his own" she said raising an eyebrow. Thinking about it, she did really like him, and she smiled and twisted around a little as if she was in a dream world. Why did things never go to plan for her? Things were always so difficult.

At the site of some customers coming over towards the till Dan let got of Jennifer’s hand and wondered over to the side to give them room. She seemed to have everything very well presented and it was clear the clothing was of good quality seeing as people had brought some stuff already and by the way items were soon vanishing off the racks Dan had a feeling the shop was going to be very popular indeed. It was only at the sound of Jennifer’s voice of offering him food and drink did he turn his attention back to the shop owner and as she mentioned that he could go and have a look a smile filled his face.
“You have just read me mind.” He gave her a grin and a wink and started to walk away but after only a few steps he looked back over his shoulder. “Just give me a shout if I am needed.”
Before he knew it Dan was slipping through the crowds of people and was searching through the racks of clothes. There were some jackets he liked the look of, and shirts and even the odd tie and Dan was not normally one for wearing ties. He would give the odd glance back over towards Jennifer but she seemed to be busy talking to Ashton and other customers. However as he drifted to a rack near them he was convinced he heard his name mentioned along with Dia’s. For a moment he froze while staring at a pink shirt and it took a few deep breaths for him to regain his composure knowing far to well he needed to push it all out of his mind and get a smile back upon his face.
Pulling the salmon pink shirt off the rack Dan walked over towards Jennifer and Ashton and grinned and he held it up towards his chest striking a pose.
“What do you think?” He laughed “Reckon it is my colour?”

Jennifer was busy talking to Ash when she noticed Dan was coming back over after disappearing within the crowd for a moment with a salmon coloured shirt. She hushed Ash and smiled at Dan as he struck a pose and Jennifer burst out into laughter. She could barely talk through her laughter and wiped a tear from her eye.
"Smashing darling...Although I think a light blue or patterned shirt would be better for your complexion" she smiled walking over to him and holding up another duck egg blue shirt up to him.

From the response Dan got from both Ashton and Jennifer he got the impression, just as he had thought, pink was not his colour. There laughter was quite contagious and Dan soon found himself laughing with them thankful to just get the thoughts of Dia out of his mind as quickly as possible. However Jennifer seemed to think she knew the type of shorts Dan should actually be wearing and searched the racks and pulled on out and held it up towards him.
“Ashton is very right pink is not my colour but blue…it is the colour of the enemy.”
He shot Ashton a playful glare and a small laugh even if duck blue was not quite the Ravenclaw colours it was still blue and like Girty Dan did like showing off his pride in being a Hufflepuff from time to time. So he glanced around for anything that had a hint of yellow to it and much to his joy he saw a yellow shirt on the rack near to where he found the pink one. Pulling it out Dan held it up and grinned happily, he did not care is it clashed with his other clothes or did not help his complexion like the blue…it was yellow, but he would still ask for the opinion of the others.
“What about this one guys and gals?”

"Light yellow will go great with you too" she smiled, watching him pull out a yellow shirt. She smiled. He was a proud man, she laughed at the look he shot to Ashton.
"Hey Dan, I have a few things out back that you may like if you like that colour!" She said remembering she had no space to put them out. She jogged around the back and ruffled around to find them. Eventually settling on a couple of smart yet casual shirts,a yellow stripey tie and a black jacket with two yellow stripes down the shoulders and the sleeves. Wandering back out into the shop floor, she put them onto the counter and beckoned Dan over.
"Here. Your welcome to try them on, and take something on the house, for an apology on dumping the ribbon cutting on you, and befriending me" she smiled sweetly at him.
"This may not be what you usually wear, but it will look great on you!" she said, lifting up the black jacket with two yellow stripes.
