Felicity's eyebrow twitched slightly as Ash's father struck him. She grabbed his wrist, holding it tightly in her grip. Scary how someone who looked so fair and dainty could be this strong, or this spiteful.
"Whatever goes on with you and my friend happens to be my business sir, especially when you hurt him." Her eyes narrowed and she didn't released her grip on the man. "Just because you're his father does not mean that I will let you hurt him."
Fay was steaming, likely close to spitting fire from her mouth if this man kept his act up. And a veela ticked is not a good thing. "Touch him again and I will break your jaw sir. Magic or no magic I have a pretty damn good hook. So don't test me." Her voice dripped with venom. Maybe she was just going slightly overboard, but her nerves were just about shot by now, and Felicity was close to snapping. Well, maybe she already did.

Ash grinned at Fay, or well as much as his painful face would allow. He was definetley going to have a brusie. To his father he said angrily, "If you have nothing better to do than harrass us, just leave. I have no desire to listen to your garbage!" he glared defiantly at his father, as if daring him to do something.

Daniel glared at his son, "What did you just say to me?" he hissed angrily grabbing Ashton's wrist and giving it a twist. His eyes blazed with hatred. "I will give you thirty seconds to take that back!" he snarled.

Felicity glanced at Ash and grinned. He was finally standing up for himself, to his father of all people. Her grip on Ash's father's wrist was still tight, she didn't really trust this man.
The veela dug her nails into the man's wrist, her eye ablaze. "I warned you sir, and obviously you didn't listen." She clenched her hand into a fist and shot it forward with as much force as she could muster. Her punch was aimed at the side of his jaw and she hoped it would connect, and break his jaw in the process. The stupid haughty man deserved as such.

Ashton glared at his father, sapphire eyes blazing with hatred and rage. "Never!" he snarled, jerking his wrist from Daniel's grip. He saw Fay, reach out to punch him, and gave her a grin. "You go Fay!" he said.

Daniel felt the girl's fist connect with his jaw, he stumbled back and glared at her. "Now you listen here, I don't know who the hell you think you are, but how I discipline my son is no concern of yours. So you and your little friends can just go take a little walk, and let me teach my worthless son a lesson!" He turned to Ashton and said, "And as for you boy, I warned you what would happen if you disobey me. Now come here." Daniel glared at his son with hatred, his eyes daring Ashton to disobey him.

Ashton stepped towards his father, knowing that his punishment would be worse if he did not immediately obey. Keeping his head down as was required by his father, he clenched his fists by his side, and bracing himself said fearfully, "Yes Sir?" His father had always ordered him to call him Sir. Especially when he was in trouble.

Felicity shook her hand. "Well, I guess you can't knock sense into a person, who knew?" She turned back to the man and smirked, arms crossed over her chest. "Who I am? Oh well, I'm Felicity Locke. Fifth year Ravenclaw and friend to your son." Fay flipped some of her hair over her shoulder. "And, as it seems, resident veela." Of course, Fay knew this would be news to Ash, but this man was ticking her off. "So I would suggest leaving now, if you don't mind. You're kinda bringing my day down."

Ash shook his head at Fay, "I'll be fine." he mouthed as he followed daddy dearest to the other side of the courtyard
