Only two months ago, Darius had celebrated his fifteenth birthday, and he really didn't feel any older. Of course, with his parents new found knowledge of how to send him letters and packages, he had received a present or two from them, and his siblings. Dar really didn't expect much from them, he never really had in the past anyways. More of the attention went to Piper anyways, so it didn't matter to him. The whole birthday thing didn't appeal to Gunner anyways. Who wanted to get older? It was just another year towards dieing naturally anyways.
Besides, he could hardly remember his own birthday that day. He remembered waking up, getting dressed, and acting as though it was just an ordinary day. That is, until Bray came out of flipping no where, and told him 'Happy Birthday, Dardarpants!' nearly scaring him out of his socks. Dar couldn't recall if Bray had given him the chocolate, or if it was Beverley..
Deciding to enjoy his day while he could, Darius wandered off the lawns, and into Hogsmeade for a treat to himself. Entering the small Village, he noticed new several shops that had opened. He noted a couple vacant shops up for sale as well, and kept a mental note to start saving up some cash. Gunner personally wanted to open a shop or something near Hogwarts, just so he wouldn't have to go back to his parents' house. For the hell of it, he'd probably drag Bray into it as well, seeing as his roommate was technically his only friend at Hogwarts.
Passing The Three Broomsticks, he walked in, seeing it slightly crowded. It had to be about lunchtime, so he could imagine why people were here. Walking in as if nothing was wrong, Darius secretly took out his wand, and casually leaned on the bar. Flicking his wand, several whiskey bottles, and many plates crashed to the floor, causing mayhem to strike. Biting his lip so he wouldn't burst into laughter, he flicked his wand again, and a bottle of Butterbeer flew up, and landed in front of him. Grabbing it, and stuffing his wand away, he cracked it up, and took a chug. Walking out as nothing had happened, Gunner left the people behind the counter freaking out and wondering why all hell broke loose with their supplies.
Down the street he went, sipping his stolen butterbeer. He didn't really have any wizarding money, so why waste it on a butterbeer he could get for free back at the Castle? It was all in a days fun, that was for sure. And it was defiantly the highlight of his day. Besides, who could've caught him in the act, if he had caused such a distraction?
